They haven't been in touch in four years. Anger, hurt, mystery and passion erupt when they reunite. Can they make things work when given a second chance?
I am currently a stay at home Mom with two young boys who keep me constantly on my toes! I grew up in Upstate, New York and moved around a bit with my Air Force husband. When he got out of the Air Force we settled just outside of Dallas, Texas and love the family atmosphere here. I am an adrenaline junkie who used to sky dive and I am always looking for a way to experience that thrill! I started writing when I was in the fifth grade but never finished anything that I was happy with until now. I am excited to hear what everyone thinks of Aura!
Okay, I'll apologize before hand for my review. Look, I know that YA books a full of sappy love and drama and usually I can take it, but this book just left me yawning and bored and rolling my eyes. After four years apart Chase returns and after a little drama from Hayley they are together like nothing ever happened. And then after that is just little misunderstands and stupid drama. The same with her cousin that has been a B**** to Hayley and then all the sudden has a change of heart and all is good from that on and they are back to be BFF. All that just got me rolling my eyes and shaking my head, but the bottom line to me was when she was attacked, strangled and almost raped by Parker and didn't want to press charges. Come on! I understand in her cousins case that she felt ashamed and afraid and that's what happens in most rape cases, but Hayley was saved by her so boyfriend went to the hospital and didn't want press charges because she felt bad for Parker. She didn't think he would do that to no one else....He was high....he wasn't a bad person... And then the guy attacked her again and she was saved by her boyfriend again!!! Ohhhh...come on...come on and come on again. Sorry, but this story just annoyed the heck out of me.

OMG Chase and Haley are such a beautiful couple. You can't help but to fall in love with them instantly. Their love is so real and raw and you can't help but fantasizing about having that kind of connection with someone. Tracy Younker did an amazing job again developing the storyline and character traits.
3.5 stars. I really enjoyed it! I wish it was a little longer...especially going further into the future in the epilogue. I'd love to read stories about Griff and Brynn.
