I have read a lot of manga in my time and I have read the little side notes that they put in. I quite enjoy those little notes. You can kinda get into the author's head and learn cool stories on how they got their ideas. For this the author keeps talking about how her characters all looking the same, how she likes so and so because they are easy to draw, and how she doesn't like drawing scenes because they are hard. I like the story. I really do, but her talking like that, l kinda lose a little respect for her when she talks about her own work. It ruined the story for me.
Well, one of the most beautiful I've read in a long, long time.
I'm happy the author is focusing on Akira because I think it's a very interesting character but I'm a bit sad Tetsuya isn't playing a bigger role in the story. I also like Aya as a character: I love strong female protagonist and she's definitely one of them.
Well, there's a bonus story at the end of the volume - which is not that bad - but I'd have preferred to read about Aya and Akira.
Okay, so this series honestly is starting to become less and less. This is my first manga read, so I'm not sure if all do this but if so I will not continue reading manga anymore, the author put in a introduction to another series. In this book I was just over halfway done when it was abruptly stopped by a self promoting for another one of the authors manga's. I was very upset to find out I would have to have purchased the next book to get anymore of the story. There were many pages dedicated to a peek of another series. Will be finishing this series simply because I was smart enough to have already purchased all four books. But I will not be keeping this series, I will give it away to someone who will genuinely love it on their own.
This volume was a great addition to the series and did a great job of adding depth to the characters. I also enjoyed reading about the how the relationship between Akira and Aya developed throughout this volume. This volume was a very enjoyable read.
This series revolved around ballet and the author draws you into that world in an exciting way (and I don't even like ballet). All of the characters were really well developed in the series and the plot moved along.
I read the first two books in this series back in HS and loved them. I definitely didn't enjoy this one as much. It moved really fast and yet it felt like not a lot happened. Still, I will probably go back and read the whole series when I get the final volume. In context it may change my opinion.
