Originally had interest in this book because the author was an obstetrician and I wanted the perspective of an educated individual on psychic experiences. Dr. Bradley and his wife, Dorothy, co-wrote this book about paranormal experiences they have had and their thoughts on the soul. I enjoyed their perspectives and life advice given in this book. I especially liked reading how Dr. Bradley incorporated his beliefs into his practice to do “faith healings” for medical issues such as infertility. Not sure if this would fly in today’s medical world since this book was written in the 60s! Enjoyed the themes about free will, destiny and reincarnation.
There were good parts, and slow parts. I was mostly interested in reading about people's experiences of past lives under hypnosis. Also spirit visitations. (I have experienced those myself.) The last portion of the book was especially good. I'd like to read more about Daisy Dryden and the things she learned about life after death. While she was on her deathbed, she had reassuring input for her parents. My copy was from 1967. Had yellow pages that were literally falling out of the book. Am I glad I read it? Yes. Would have loved to find a Kindle version so I could make the tiny font bigger!
