About the author

Mihona Fujii (藤井みほな in Japanese) is a Japanese shōjo mangaka. Her debut work was Mujaki na mama de, published in the 1990 autumn issue of Ribon Original. Her works have been published in Ribon and, recently, Margaret, where her latest series, Tokyo Angels runs.
She is best known for her manga GALS!, which was adapted into a TV anime series under the name Super GALS! Kotobuki Ran

Ran dan kawan-kawannya study tour ke Taiwan. Di sana mereka bertemu Vivian Ling, artis Taiwan yang wajahnya sangat mirip dengan Ran. Vivian diam-diam pacaran dengan Jack Wu, artis populer. Padahal, agensinya melarangnya pacaran. Ran dan Vivian lalu bertukar tempat agar sang artis bisa bertemu dengan Jack yang baru pulang dari Hong Kong. Tapi Ran malah mengacaukan siaran kuis dan ketahuan kalau dirinya bukan Vivian. Wuah!

Adik Tatsuki, Naoki muncul. Dia orang yang mudah jatuh cinta setiap beberapa menit sekali. Mulai dari Ran, Miyu, dan Sayo, semua jadi target cintanya.

Dan yang mengejutkan, Otohata ngakuin sendiri di depan Aya kalau dia suka sama Ran. Say whaaaaaaat??? Kok bisa?! Tapi tetep aja dia menjaga hubungannya dengan Aya. Aneh ih. Masa Aya cuma buat pelarian? Tapi sampai akhir komik mereka tetep jadian kok. Aaaaaaaa!

Ran terancam tidak naik kelas ke kelas 3. Tapi dia mendapat motivasi belajar secara tak terduga karena ditantang oleh temannya untuk bisa lulus ujian tanpa mencontek. Rupanya Ran punya ingatan yang sangat tajam. Dengan mudah dia lulus ujian setelah belajar. Tapi setelah ujian selesai ya semua materi itu dia lupakan lagi wahahaha.

In this next installment the GALS are faced with many choices and decisions that will effect their lives in different ways. But first they enjoy a nice vacation in Taiwan and help a top celebrity get together with the love of her life. When Ran returns she needs to study hard if she wants to move up to senior year with her other GAL friends. She also fights for the spot as top GAL against Mami and the tan GALS. Miyu must choose whether to continue her education and go to junior college or start working after school. Her fiancé Yamato encourages her to go to school if she really wants to and he'll support her no matter what. Aya finally asks Rei if he likes Ran which he confirms that he does breaking Aya's heart. Again, I don't like that every guy has to fall for Ran, but that'll change of course. Also, in this series we see more of Ran's two other friends than we do in the television show which makes me happy. They're hyper just like Ran, but they're still good students which balances it out nicely.

5 estrellas. No puedo ser objetiva con Gals porque cualquier tomo me parece increíble, ya que todo lo que escribe Mihona Fujii es una obra de arte, de verdad lo amena que se me hace su lectura y lo entretenida que me resulta no tiene precio.

Este tomo en concreto, el capítulo de la recuperación de Ran para no repetir curso y el del viaje a Taiwán han sido los que más he disfrutado. Mención especial a la aparición del primo de Rei, Rui, me ha parecido demasiado mono a pesar de su carácter “especial”.

the story about a gals girl name Kotobuki Ran from Hounan High School in Tokyo that really energic and a little deliquent. She have a big brother name Yamato, he is a police officer.
