Akira Amano is the author and mangaka of the shonen manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
Amano began in 1998 with a job at Weekly Young Magazine. She also held a job at Shueisha Publishing Co, Ltd. In 2002, Amano participated in a contest for aspiring mangaka and was one of the lucky winners, with her comic Monkey Business published in Young Magazine. In 2004, she finally found success with the humourous and classy manga Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (or, for short, just Reborn!), and that thanks to her readers' support. This new manga was advertised more and more in Shonen Jump and became a hit. Two years later, her manga was made into an anime series by Artland studios.
Her ideas for Reborn!: Amano had some crazy ideas to entertain readers with. She came up with weird characters to add spice to the humour, a story written especially to be unique, and fast-paced action.

Reborn!, Vol. 9 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next nine chapters (71–79) of the on-going manga series and a bonus story.
Reborn uses the last Dying Will Bullet he has on Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada, who manages to defeat the fake Mukuro Rokudō. Tsuna realizes that his opponent was being controlled by the real Mukuro so they enter the gang's hideout, leaving an unconscious Takeshi Yamamoto. When they are attacked by Chikusa Kakimoto and Ken Joshima, Hayato Gokudera tries to stop them alone, but Kyōya Hibari reappears there and defeats both of them.
Tsuna finds the real Mukuro who reveals his ability to take control of people's bodies. When Mukuro is fatally wounded by Hibari, he starts to possess the bodies around him, including Tsuna's companions. Suddenly, Reborn's pet creates a pair of gloves as well as a new bullet to increase Tsuna's abilities. In the new "Hyper Dying Will Mode", Tsuna manages to safely knock out all the bodies that Mukuro controls, leaving the original as the last one.
This tankōbon is written and illustrated by Akira Amano. It continues the Kokuyo Gang arc with Tsunayoshi "Tsuna" Sawada and his contemporaries infiltrating the gang in order to save Futa. Mukuro Rokudō is a 15-year-old Mafia criminal who escaped from an Italian prison and started the Kokuyo Gang, which consists of heinous criminals who have recently escaped from prison. Skilled in casting illusions as well as mind control, he attempts to take his revenge on the Mafia by taking over Tsuna's body and using him to wreak havoc.
All in all, Reborn!, Vol. 9 is a wonderful continuation to a series that seems really intriguing and I can't wait to read more.
okay this arc is getting quite interesting but extremely dark. this volume pretty much wrapped up the first major arc with some interesting twists and power ups for the main character. mukuro is an awesome villain especially with his abilities/ paths and due to the way this arc is wrapping up it will be interesting to see how they factor into arcs to come. overall a fairly good arc with some solid character development and some cool fights, it will be interesting to see how the arc end and what direction the next arc takes
This is the 9th book of the series Reborn! The story so far is about Sawada Tsunayoshi, he isn't very good at school, sports, and everything in general, so he had the nickname, no good Tsuna. Even though he was below average in everything else, a home tutor came to visit and train him. This was because Tsuna was chosen to be the 10th boss of the Vongola mafia family, but he was weak so the 9th boss of the Vongola, sent Reborn, a home tutor and trainer to train him mentally and physically. To bring out Tsuna's inner fighting spirit, Reborn has a bullet called a Dying Will Bullet, it makes Tsuna finish the whatever the task as if it was his dying will. Tsuna is confronted by Mukuro Rokudo in this volume, a master of illusions, Reborn spectates to see if his training has really paid off. Reborn only has one more Dying Will Bullet lift, would they be enough to take down Mukuro, a master in illusions and physical combat? I can connect this to idol figures all over the world. Children look up to adults as a role model, in Tsuna's case, he is looked up to as the boss of the Vongola family. In real life, this could be applied to any idol figure, for example, kids look up to police and adults who keep them safe, even the ones who are below average, just like Tsuna, are looked up upon as idols. I rate this book 4 stars because the story is written with humor at times and it is not ultimately revolving around one plot at any time, but numerous ones to keep it suspenseful.
Great, great chapter. We see yet another characteristic that made Tsuna worthy of being the tenth boss - the ability to assess people's feelings with just one look. Too bad Takeshi was knocked out (well, he got to shine defeating Ken anyway) but the guys continue as Hayato faces BOTH Ken and Chikusa. I like it how he knew Hibari was just nearby (haha). Mokuro Rokudo's abilities are just creatively done. I like the idea of the Possession bullet that can possess multiple bodies. Tsuna was shown to have the signs again on why he is a fitting Vongola boss. Leon finally creates the Vongola Gloves and the Rebuke bullet that turned Tsuna into a much cooler Hyper Dying Will Mode. I like how the build up is with Tsuna's character which made the Hyper Dying Will mode not really that far from his real resolve and is clearly believable. The fighting scenes that ensued after that are really dynamic that you will really get a moving picture in your head.
3.5 A good vol, though, I felt some of it was a bit cliche and predictable. Still, there were a few great moments and there were parts that gave me 'feels.' And some parts did have me holding my breath wondering what would happen, but deep down I know the Vongola family will be ok! They have to be!
Also, poor Tsuna. He responded very realistically to the dire situation at hand. Since he has never properly been in a life or death combat, and is just not used to fighting for his life, ot's very understandable that he could barely handle himself. Was great to see his new abilities, was wondering when it would appear.
The search to stop Mukuro continues, with some pretty awful new surprises as he reveals some of his power and abilities. With Tsuna the only one left at full capacity to defeat him, things look pretty hopeless, but the new direction for the manga has also given him a healthy dollop of steely resolve that serves him well.
We're also starting to get into Reborn physics, which if you're familiar, are like One Piece physics only moreso, since the world of Reborn is constantly at war with itself over what the physical normal is.
For once, Tsuna is actually pretty awesome. His epic battle with Mukuro has really brought out a new side of the 10th Vongola. The battle is still not over though. They appear to be pretty equal matched at the moment, but someone is going to walk away victorious. First we are going to have to continue this epic fight though. Don't underestimate the Vongola.
Now I remember how much I disliked Mukuro when he first appeared (even though there's more to him than meets the eye), however fighting him was necesary for Tsuna to finally grow up and stop acting like a coward I'm so proud of him btw and to awake some of his Vongola powers. A great volume!
4.5 Esto marca el inicio de la verdadera esencia de la serie. Es una lástima que se demorara tantos tomos para poder llegar a esto, quizás, su destino hubiera sido distinto.
