Now that Yuniko has learned Akira Nanae is her real father, she has to come to terms with the truth. Once Ryu goes away to promote his latest movie, Yukino has time to be alone with her thoughts. She decides she must accept the truth and move on with her life. In fact, she decides she's finally ready to go all the way with the new love...but is she truly prepared to take things to the next level?!
As she's mulling that over, Yuniko continues to try to establish a relationship with her mother...but she still doesn't remember her. Meanwhile, Maki is bound and determined to dig up concrete evidence that Akira is Yuniko's father so he can sell it to the tabloids.
Will Yuniko and Ryu be able to stop Maki in time?!
Rie Takada ( 高田りえ) is a Japanese manga artist. She debuted in 1990 in the 17th issue of the manga anthology magazine Sho-Comi with the series SP girl. She still writes primarily for Sho-Comi, with her serialized works also published in collected volumes by Shogakukan, the company that publishes Sho-Comi.

My Thoughts:
Yuni and Ryu race to find proof that Akira is truly Yuni's father in order to beat Maki to it. Ryu isn't all that happy in the beginning that Yuni just won't let things go, but he goes out night after night trying to help her in secret. When she finds out, she's pretty happy about it. Especially when she finds out who he's been going to see. Ryu may be a horndog, but he's one hell of a sweetheart.
When they get a lead, Ryu and Yuni take off to the city where Yuni's mother gave birth to her. When they get there, they discover that Maki has gotten the same lead that they have and somehow end up taking a dive off of a cliff!
Lucky for Yuni, Ryu really loves her or she'd probably be dead. Also lucky for her, Ryu knows where the real tape is...
Series Rating: 4 Stars Series Review Mostly spoiler free. A bit of wrap up from Volume 10 but nothing that gives away any surprises.
Volume 3 picked it up a bit, there's still a lot of romance but its mixed with the action to make it the action/romance it claims to be. We get some insight into why Ryu hates being the "New Nanae" which I really enjoyed.
