Tuesdays with Matthew is a story that imagines what it might be like if someone could talk with the Apostle Matthew today. A photographer, the disillusioned son of a pastor who lost his father to cancer, captures his moments of encounters with the Apostle Matthew and shares their weekly discussions on miracles, Satan, prayer, purpose, pain, wealth, faith, greatness, truth, failure, love, and life.

Couldn't put this book down! I picked it up for 50 cents at a library book sale. I highly recommend this book about a young man who meets the disciple Matthew...in modern times.
If you liked "The Shack," you will love "Tuesdays with Matthew."
I loved the concept of this book: a man who lost his faith basically meets with one of the apostles once a week for several months and regains that faith and love for Jesus.. This was a quick, easy read, but the lessons it taught will stick with me for a long time!
WOW! To think of a chance to meet and sit with one of the Apostles, ask any questions in your heart.
This book hit very close to home for me. I actually saw myself in Todd, as we flashed back to his time as a child at church and the different treatment he got do to the fact that he was the pastors son. Life as a PK (Preachers Kid) is very hard and it can drive you away from the faith at times. I loved this book as Matthew painted the answers to all life's questions in a way that is easy to follow, but still kept up with the parables and stories of the bible. This book is a must read.
