Forced Submission by Claire Thompson had a great hook, and a really interesting premise. Mia wanted to find a job with good pay and benefits, and the job offer from super rich Ellis Hughes seems too good to be true.

It is.

This is NOT a BDSM book, even if there is impact play, and domination and submission contained within. This is a white slavery story, about a naive girl being taken and trained to please her owner. She is systematically broken down, and rebuilt into the perfect slave for Ellis.

Ellis Hughes, billionaire, playboy, has tastes that run outside the BDSM culture. He likes pain, but only when its past his partners limits. He likes mind-fucks, but only when there are no safe words. He likes Edge play, he wants a slave that cannot safe word or escape him. He can't find it in his local kink community, and he's gotten black marks against him for how he has treated some of the community members, so he hatches his plan to kidnap, torture and train Mia.

Mia is a nice young lady, who accepts a job offer from a rich guy to be his personal assistant. She didn't ask for any of this, and might be slightly naive, but it isn't her fault. I have to admit when placing myself in her shoes, I was excited by the predicament, but those who know me will realize its because I have serious issues, and not because its a good idea.

I've teased the plot already, but its a capture ... I'd say fantasy, but its more a horror, so capture nightmare, maybe?

Mia and Ellis do not go happily into the night, though they both get something that made *me* happy, at least.

**Warning Extremely Dark, Non-Con, Contains possible spoilers**

This was a dark read, taking a woman down a very dark path of pain, humiliation, and brainwashing and it's gut-wrenching.

Mia accepts a job with the very handsome, very rich Ellis L. Hughes and she's very excited to start her new life. She gets a new life alright, but the job is bogus, her "job" is to become the perfect submissive for a cruel and sadistic Ellis and her training starts within the hour of walking in the door to start her new job.

Ellis chose Mia out of over 20 applicants, not because she was his perfect woman, but because she had no family, no boyfriend, and no kids. No one to miss her or come looking for her. She's a little overweight, no worries, he has the perfect diet plan for that.

He takes everything away from her then does everything to break her, but there is still a resistance in her that he vows to break. And he does. It's when Ellis cuts Mia's beautiful hair off and shaves her head. The moment I knew what was coming I had to actually put the book down and walk away. The author's description of this was heartbreaking. When I came back and started reading again, I really didn't think he would do it. He seemed to waver, but then it became about power and control and he *knew* he had to go through with it. It was the obsessive need for total power and control over another living person that seems to drive Ellis, and above all the other sadistic things he did to Mia, this was the one thing that fractured her and completely broke her.

She lives a harrowing "life" as Ellis' slave. She is forced to sleep in a cage at night beside his bed, most times bound while inside the cage. She is denied food and water on a whim, and when he does give her food, it is usually only a few bites a day and only after she has pleased him. She is only fed from his hand while she kneels next to him. There is also a punishment cage in a dark closet for those times when she *doesn't* please him. There is water torture, breath play, anal, and any sadistic "toy" you can think of on a regular, if not daily basis, including stocks that she is locked into for hours at a time.

This book is not for the faint of heart. It's dark, twisted, and brutal. But I will say that there are some pretty good twists that will make you want to keep turning the pages faster and faster in a race to the finish. I read this book in one day, just couldn't put it down.

Claire Thompson is quickly becoming my "go to author" when I need that dark, non-con read.

Solid 4 star read.

This is a very funny one!

I think that maybe this might be the strong kickass female submissive that Loederkoningin always wants--for sure as hell, this lady kicked ass in the end.

As it is, it is the inverse of the usual DMC material ;) Yes, there's a woman who is abducted by an evil sadist Dom. Yes, that woman gets brainwashed to the point of forgetting her identity and being submissive to the evil Dom. Yes, he uses and abuses her in every conceivable manner...

...and no, it doesn't continue the usual way :) It continues in a somewhat more realistic manner than usual for such stories.

It was sort of fun reading this, once I overcame the fact that this was written totally unerotically, and in consequence didn't titillate me one bit. But despite that it was an exercise in turning the usual tropes on their head.

Unfortunately the book lacked the necessary writing quality to achieve both: titillate and subvert the usual tropes. That would have been tops. As it is, it was still enough for a solid 3*.

Phew! What an intense read.
This book started pretty slow actually, I was yawning and skipping some pages. Found it really cliched at beginning. I thought it was like other dark novels: Girl getting kidnapped by a rich man and tortured, she resists him at first and she gives up, they fall in love ... blah blahh .... aaaaanddd BAM! there came the twist I never had imagined! Claire has done it again, her writting is impeccable . Her books are not usually light hearted ones. This one just blew me away. Overall the book was disturbingly good. This dark , gritty novel is highly suggested to readers for strong hearts only.

Have You Ever Seen The Real Boogieman?!
Well guess what?! I met him in this book. Most called him Ellis, but there was one who called him SIR. If you ever run into this Bastard who I call Satan, The seed of Chucky, Freddie, & Jason! By all means Rip His Nutty Sacks OFF!!! Then run like Hell!

crying photo crycry.gif

Screaming won't help, he'll just smack the Piss out of you for making too much noise. Crying won't help, he'll just use your tears as lubrication for what he has planned next. If that's not enough to scare you half to death, think hard about what I'm going to say next.

You had BETTER NOT go to SIR's house hungry, thinking he'll feed you or offer you a refreshment because if you do, you'll be recognized as nothing more than a fossil after SIR's done with you. (I hope you can understand what I'm trying to tell you guys). This is serious, because I was seriously disturbed. Since reading this book I've been having nightmares about my hair just standing up and running away from my scalp! (Sounds mental to you? Good, then you're finally getting it)!

I'm usually pretty good at reading people and their personality types, but this fool had me fooled!!

This book was disturbingly good. I hated Ellis with all my heart. I loved 'M', she only got on my nerves one time during the whole read. This author had me mad for the majority of the book, (I liked & dreaded that), but at the end she completely gave the readers a feeling of power when she let our heroine...........

Go read it for yourself if you want to know what 'M' did.

Happy Reading

I am a fan of dark reads and I have read so much of it that literally, almost nothing can surprised me anymore. Or so I thought, until I came across Forced Submission. I bought this book today and finished it in one go out of curiousity, and now I see why it was banned on Amazon!

So we all know how dark reads usually go. A girl with kick-ass and fiery attitude in her gets captured by a rich man, being forced to go through sexual torture, blah blah blah…and just when you think it’s just another dark-read, IT’S NOT.

Yes, the female protagonist gets kidnapped by a rich man. Yes, she undergoes sexual torture and no, it does not have your typical ending. In fact, I think the ending of the novel brings out a more realistic side.

I confessed, I was hoping to see whether Forced Submission would have the usual ending and frankly, I was rooting for Mia and Ellis. That is, until I read the part where Mia becomes broken, that hope of mine just crashed and before I know it, I was rooting for Mia!

Ellis Hughes is not, I repeat, NOT, your typical rich male protagonist. I wanted to pull Mia out of her hell-hole. I really do and I’m not kidding when I say, you can literally hear Mia shatters when she becomes M.

All I can say is…both Ellis and Mia got what they deserved in the end!

I would highly recommend Forced Submission to READERS WITH A STRONG HEART only.

(I don’t usually do that, but even I feel like I need a break from dark-reads after reading this! A book-filled-with-feels-and-emotional-stuff hangover? Read only if you’re into the dark side of life where there’s no cookies!)

A young woman helped prisoner by a megalomaniac. Abused by her captor until her identity has been erased. Offered a chance to escape and she only wants to return to the only life she knows. And no, I am not describing Judgment.

The first chapter of this could actually have come right out of The The Auction. Rich guy wants a submissive because he can’t be bothered with the little details. Only when they diverge, they go in very different directions.

Ellis wasn’t Adam because Adam was a Dom and Ellis really isn’t. Hurting someone until you force them to acquiesce to your demands isn’t really being a Dom, it is just being an Abuser. Early on, I was still kind of hoping that he would snap out of it but it became obviously soon enough that was not going to happen.

My favorite part, as anyone who knows my reviews might expect, were Prince Kamau and his Island. I hope we get to see them again someday.

This is the first non-con I have read from Claire Thompson since Slave Island (Accidental Slave doesn’t really count). Obviously, I enjoyed this one a whole lot more.

This one felt a bit uneven to me. And it didn't exactly fit into the box I was expecting. In fact, I'm not sure what box it does fit in. I labeled it erotica, but it doesn't come across as particularly erotic, even if you're into non-con.

The first half is all about the sadist acquiring and training his slave girl. The second half involves an attempt to buy a seconds slave girl from Africa. The story seems to start on a non-con erotica theme and ends up on a crime & punishment theme.

I've had several books I really enjoyed by this author, but this one wasn't for me.

Although some readers may find this erotic tale somewhat extreme, it does offer an exciting glimpse into the complex relationship between a very very strict and demanding Master and his female slave. It made me rather jealous of Mia as I so wanted to personally experience the complete subjugation, total degradation, humiliation, pain, punishment, suffering, and enslavement she endured. Wow, this story kept me wet with desire:) Oh my, how to find a Dom like Ellis Hughes!

All I can say is wow. It took me a few days to recover from this book. I can honestly say this was a very dark read for me. I know I could not read this book again. This book was great but it is not a everyone read. This is no romance bdsm read. Be Warned. But this is Claire Thompson style. So when I need a dark read I always look up her books. Thanks Claire.

The book was fairly even with the male and females point of view. Which was disappointing, I thought it was only meant to be the females.

The book was certainly dark, and the way she was ‘taken’ was certainly different. The book got a little long about half way through, it dragged a little. I certainly loved the ending though! Karma! haha

This is not an easy read by any means. You get what it says in the title, and I had to put the book down and recover before I could read on sometimes, but, I had to finish it.
The hero has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. He really is just a sick, perverted bastard, who very rarely shows his softer side, but the heroine made the book for me.

I shan't give away the ending, but I was hooked, and willing her to get out of there.

If you like dark erotica then you will love this book, but if you're squeamish, this is not for you.
I will be looking for more from this author, because she really does draw you into the story.

This was a hard read – the sexy wasn’t there for me, but it was still fascinating. What was intriguing about it to me was how far this went from the norm of captive/slave books. What started off with the typical potential for titillation quickly turned into a horror story devoid of any yumminess. Mia is torn down systematically by Ellis and there is no hope, love, or desire at any time. The ending felt a bit too soft for me. In light of what all took place, I expected something darker and was disappointed (I know…sick, but true.)

There are two reason why I DNF at 50% :
1. I'm not really a fan of BDSM, and this book is almost solely contained with BDSM subject.
2. It is really a dark read(non-con rape), which is too much out of my comfort zone.

Woah well, that sure was something 🤪🤣

Here's how this goes...

Ellis Hughes, a billionaire runs some sort of company (idk what). And apparently is a hardcore sadist. He enjoys torturing women (pretty much outside the erotic spectrum).
Now since he doesn't really find someone who WILLINGLY comes to him and shares the same desires, he decides to kidnap a girl and jeep her locked in his basement, beat and torture her for his own pleasure. That girl is mia. He sends out advertisements stating he needs a personal secretary and is looking for one. After going through about 20 candidates he finally settles apon Mia Roberts mainly due to the fact that she has no family and friends therefore no one to truly miss her and look for her once she disappears. So he lures her into staying at his house for a night, till the time her accommodation is settled and forcefully ties her down, enslaving her.
From then one begins his torture and training as he calls it. He barely feeds her and gives her water to drink for the first couple of days. Spanning the next few weeks he has mia completely brainwashed, she doesn't remember her name just M (what he calls her), his name Or anything about how her life used to be before "Sir" came into her life. Now, a testament to his sick desires Ellis wants to captivate another slave girl and torture her. He comes in contact with Prince something (idr his name), who works in providing girls who wish to be settled with a dominant (willingly). He has his eyes set for a particular girl named zahra (i believe) but much to his dismay zahra refuses as she doesn't really get a good vibe from him. Meanwhile other members of the prince's harem get a bit skeptical of mia and ellis's relationship as while talking to them she just kept repeating the same lines as if that was all she could. Zahra goes snooping into their room and gets hold of mia's passport... The next while bidding goodbye the prince casually drops mia's name. Which eventually leads to her regaining her memories and everything that ellis put her through. She starts to plan her escape.... One fine night ellis is drunk and dozes off without locking mia in the cage (which he used to do every night), mia makes use of this opportunity and emails the prince that she is in danger and briefly describes all that ellis has put her through. She gets hold of ellis's gun while rummaging through his drawers and threatens him with it once he is awake. She locks him in the cage and puts him through a mere fraction of the torture he subjected to her and has him crying and pleading. She makes him confess all the terrible things he did to her, records it and posts it on social media. During the time all this happened the prince arrives at ellis's residence and takes mia... Provides her with a second chance to life. He takes her in.. She now manages his accounts and stuff.

I went into this assuming that mia and ellis would eventually fall in love... But you can never be so sure with claire Thompson.

Okay so these are the things I absolutely despised..
He fucking shaved off her hair. Sorry but I can't live with this.
He starved her cause like apparently she a bit overweight. Again, NO.

This is something I absolutely draw a line to in a bdsm book... When he literally treats her like a maid. I mean dude what? I'm so not okay with the guy making her clean and sweep the floor and shit. I'm kinda okay with using her as furniture like making her sit like a table and keep your legs upon her but making her sweep? No absolutely NO.

This book was a very dark read. The main male character decides to kidnap a woman and turn her into his slave. He does not care if she enjoys herself or not. He spends most of the book beating her, starving her, denying her water, and torturing her.

She didn't want a trial or people saying she was not a victim/survivor and it was all consensual, because he was very rich and could afford the best lawyers. She runs away to another country after she emails and get rescued by a loving Dominant and lives with him as his business manager.

A word of warning, be prepared for some very intense and sadistic scenes. If you're a fan of dark reads, like myself, you will absolutely love this story. It will keep you engrossed from page 1 and you'll be rooting for Mia all the way through.
Mia applies for a job as personal assistant to the handsome Ellis. Little does she know that he is in fact a sadist who wants to turn her into his own personal sex slave. Once Mia is captured she slowly turns into the docile submissive Ellis wants hr to be, but will there be any light at the end of the tunnel for Mia?
FORCED is well written and is a great story of survival. Ellis is not the charismatic hero but at times there is a hint of something else that gives you the hope of something more.

This is a very dark, non-consensual story of a master-slave relationship. Mia doesn’t know what she is getting into when she agrees to work for Ellis, and most of the story is taken up with some pretty harsh and unpleasant punishments without any love or affection – just a desire by Ellis to inflict pain and establish his mastery over her. Ultimately, things get resolved in a positive way for Mia, but the road she took to get there is rough on her, and rough on the reader who keeps hoping things will get better. I think most people will find the story somewhat difficult because of the unrelenting punishment and degradation that she suffers, until a resolution presents itself.

Her title and images are very misleading. She has written some good as well as not so good books. It is difficult to judge which books have consensual partners and which do not have consensual partners. The climax of the book was thrilling but other parts was not for me. Only the climax is making me give 3 stars and nothing else

I really enjoyed this book. It's definitely on the darker side, not for the faint of heart. You have to understand going into this one that it can be disturbing. It's not a "swoon" type romance. It's thought provoking, and riveting. The author did an excellent job writing this book. If you are looking for light and fun boy meets girl romance, this is not the book for you. If you are looking for a dark read that keeps you hooked, I definitely recommend! As you go along you have to keep in mind who the author is and what she does. She loves to torture her characters sexually, sadistically but the end will always be happy. She will always save her characters. In this book I was hoping for an HEA so hard and it finally came wonderfully. I recommend this book to those of you who have an inner bad girl and needs to let her be released
