How Firm a Foundation is an evidential defense of the two main tenets of the Christian The reliability of the New Testament and the resurrection of Jesus. Using classic literary, historical, and legal methods, Dr. Foster shows that the foundations of the Christian faith are reasonable, credible, reliable, and above all trustworthy. This is a wonderful handbook that every Christian should have and know as they dialogue with others in the secular world, marketplace, school, and media.
I have read portions of this book before but never cover to cover. Dr. Chad’s logic and assembly of facts from biblical and religious sources to secular historical documents present as clear of a case for scriptural infallibility and the resurrection as one can have. A good reference book for the library!
This is a very impressive book! I always return to it when I'm need to strengthen my faith. Though the title does make this book seem a little boring, this book is full of proof proving the historical reliability of the New Testament and Christ. I totally recommend this book to everyone!
