This is a helpful book for organizing the Psalms to be presented in worship. It's outline might be useful for developing a sermon series. Routley's afterward explains 6 methods of using the Psalms in public worship. As far as Routley's commentary is concerned, he acknowledges that the book comes from his own sermons and discussions-- and it reads as such. One feels like they're missing something, so I think the book is more useful as a template for other pastors than as a means of spiritual growth for an average reader.
