I like the idea of music and especially singing being food for the soul. As a cure for malaise singing is probably as good as any. Smiling, sleep, reading a book, meditation seem to work for me. So does whistling, because I’m not particularly good at singing. This is an interesting look at the restorative powers of giving the vocal chords a work out.
