Amazing! A beautiful story about all the men that could not experience the love that dare not speak it’s name. Stabs like a knife in the heart sometimes.

I have been a major fan of this collaborative team for years and when the cd came out I was scouring the stores trying to find it as they opened. I eventually orderedthe special edition script off amazon. It is amazing. The story and dialogue are incredible and succinct. The lyrics are perfect down to earth and descriptive without being too poetic. Yet at the same time they are. Every time I read it I discover something new. It is a VERY classy show. Very low key and wonderful to listen to and to read. Its an amazing and wonderful show and had me drawn in from the very beginning..and keep you captivated until the end.

Heartbreaking. Well observed and with beautiful music. Capitalizes on the beauty only the theater can create: making something out of nothing and the surprising ways in which a story can be told. A wonderfully heartfelt story without being too saccharine. A close examination of repression, censorship, and freedom to pursue the loves you love and the stories you are drawn to tell.
