There was one story I didn't really care for. It seemed to be the author's opinion about Harry Potter (without saying Harry Potter) instead of a reflection. However, my kids loved it and it was a great way to start the day.
Short, easily digestible morality tales for young children that sometimes veer into moralizing. My kids enjoyed hearing Greg's over-the-top antics but sometimes found the kids' piety unrealistic, pulling them out of the stories. The author also uses any verb imaginable as a dialogue tag (ex. "...blah, blah, blah," Greg pointed OR Mother made a face OR Meg turned) whether it pertains to speech or not, a pet peeve of mine, but one that was mostly lost on my children.
