This was a sporadic purchase. I am glad I did not spend much money on this book & the dull DVD that came with it. There are vast topics and the book is organized in a coherent manner. My problem is that each myth or mystery featured is nothing new. One could cut and paste various articles or rewrite what has already been published on the topics to create this book.
Overall the facts were clear and accurate, if a little outdated by now, and there was no bias, the text always striving to inform about the "skeptical" viewpoint as well as the "believer" viewpoint. It also made sure to point out when a theory had been disproved.
BUT... I found it very dry and a bit of a slog to read. I ended up just flipping through it to bits I found interesting. Not great.
