I had a lot of fun reading this book and may have shed a tear or two along the way. I actually have a few questions of my own for Elizabeth...and Richard for that matter. I'm glad for the girls that, in the end, they have each other and they finally realized that.

Pleased to introduce my fifth women's fiction novel, Family Charms, about three sisters who get a letter from their estranged mother inviting them on a trip around the world to see where she's been the last twenty years - and what kept her away. This story is the most personal and was the toughest to write as it was inspired by my (and my sisters') estrangement from my mother from the time I was 5 until 25. While the story is fictional, I did base a lot of emotional truth in the story for all three sisters and what it's like to wonder where your mother is and what has kept her away all that time. So far readers have responded very favorably and for that I'm so grateful. I feel like I put my heart and soul into the book so I hope that readers find the deeper meaning in the book and connect with the characters and the story.
