unexpectedly surprising, spoilers below please skip if you're not into them

Wow, I never thought that I'll finish this let alone enjoy the story, but I did and that really surprised me.
Overall, I had fun reading this and I didn't expect to like it. It was good, I liked this better than the book 1 and I never got to finish book 2.

i think, no, i definitely know this book will piss me off just the like the second one, but i'll still try to read this even though this includes the tropes i hated the most. what does that even say about me? 🤦♀️
- second chance
- H and h were the OG couple but something went wrong along the way and the H married the h's sister. 🤮
- h was heartbroken and left the country to move on (who wouldn't???)
- h's sister died and she went to the funeral (why though?? i'm a grudge holder sue me 🙄)
- H finally decide to make the h his permanently by keeping her in their vineyard (knowing this is Ms. Blake's book, I'm assuming there'll be a lot of dubcon/noncon in this one)

There are secrets and lies to be uncovered, but one thing is for sure: Enzo is not going to let Bianca get away this time. Even if she doesn't agree.
I'm really loving this new series by Zoe and it's been getting better and better with each book! Zoe does not disappoint with Enzo and the lengths he will go to in order to keep Bianca by his side. Totally over the top alpha behavior, lol, but Zoe knows her readers and that's what we're here for 🤷🏻♀️. The storyline was interesting, fast paced, and had a lot of romantic suspense elements that held my interest till the end. The smexy times were super hot - Bianca definitely wanted to make Enzo fight for her and fight he did. If you're a sensitive reader, this may not be for you with its copious amounts of dubcon. Secrets of the Brother does end on a series cliffy, despite our couple getting a HEA and I LOVED the breadcrumbs for the next book!

lordddddd!!!!! This book was so good I was wondering why Enzo would marry that witch but we finally get his story and it picks up right at the end of book 2, Bianca slapping the crap out of him and trying to move on from being broken hearted by Enzo months ago when he made his choice. I was so glad she stood her ground, not letting him gain an inch!! But girl had her moments when she did give in. Bianca family are douches. I kinda wish Enzo did something to them, but he was already under a watchful eye since he was under investigation for murdddderrr!!
The moments between Enzo and Bianca were so good. Exs with good banter and some angry sex!! Lorddd mercy, the spice was delicious. I was fanning myself in the airplane reading this hehee.

I can't believe I'm saying this..... While daddy Barone will always have a special place in my dark kinky heart because I love sexy older men! Enzo is my new crush!!! In the first two books we saw a little about him but out of the three so far he's the most intense and a total throw back to his ancestors with a conquering vibe and dark desires!!! When Bianca comes home for her sister Renata's funeral once again she's confronted by the man who broke her heart and wants nothing to do with Enzo, but he's having none of it! He let the love of his life get away once but he'll be damned if it will happen again! The chemistry between these two is deliciously dark and it's not too long before Enzo steps over the line and takes what he wants!!! Bianca is firecracker with a mouth like a sailor and is strong and if possible even more of a handful then Milana and that's saying a lot!! But she more then a match for Enzo! He knows what his baby girl secretly wants and needs and that's to be totally dominated by her man!! Zoe hinted at a big twist and cliffhanger were happening at the end. And she wasn't kidding!!! Yo. You should have seen me reading about them shopping at Gucci, munching on charcuterie boards of the finest cheeses and wines and driving their Ferraris around while im eating funnyuns with crumbs on my old navy t shirt and Costco shorts ✌🤦🤦😂. And I have a minivan. Cuz kids.
I was like.....not happy that enzo married the evil hag Renata and had sex with her cuz I HATE when family members eff the same person. that's like if you and your mom fucck the same guy in the same lifetime okur? BUT, Zoe bee did me a solid. I won't say more but WHEW. My stomach was still curdling a bit but I'm glad I kept reading.

Bianca Moretti returns home to Italy from NYC to attend her sister Renata's funeral. But coming back means opening up old wounds from the past in the form of Enzo Cavalieri. When Enzo sets his eyes on Bianca, he intends on righting the wrongs of the past and finally making Bianca his.
Enzo knows he and Bianca have a painful past and all the wrongs must be righted for them to forge a future. But Bianca wants nothing to do with the man that betrayed her heart and soul. Or does she?
These two are have a long way to go to get their HEA but Enzo is willing to fight for them. Is Bianca? Even in the quest to win Bianca back, lies and plots are exposed and something deadly is looming on the horizon. The Cavalieri dynasty will have to weather it together!
I am so immersed in this world and these men with their women. This was fast paced, steamy and action packed with bread crumbs for so much more. I can't wait.
Secrets of the Brother was not my favorite of this series...Amara and Barone hold that spot followed by Cesare and Milana but Enzo and Bianca had their own unique brand of love. It baffled me a little why a Cavalieri man would
That isn't a typical Zoe alpha male trait but once he did get his hands on Bianca he steamrolled his way back into her heart in the hottest ways. We also learned that while he felt like he was doing his duty, he kept eyes on Bianca at all times. So can I really complain? Overall, I loved this and the intricate and steamy world Zoe has created.

Why I outta…….
Anyone who has read my reviews, knows in all certainty, that “Cliffy” and I are not friends. So it’s no stretch to anyone’s imagination that I’m laying here in the dark, trying not to wake my man, growling at this ending.
All that aside, I was literally fighting sleep because I HAD to finish this book. Although I’m thoroughly annoyed that I don’t have the next one to dive into , I’m wondering if everyone one else is in love with Aunt Gabriella like I am and wishing she was their Aunt too?!?!
This story had my heart racing, my anxiety tweaking, a wee bit of tears, some steam and a WHOLE lot of shock and awe!
Serious book hangover. My mind is spinning at the possibilities of what is coming next!

Zoe Blake does croony dubcon very well 😳🥵.
The first book in this series is still my favourite (I think the male narrator suits the older Daddy character better), but this one also made me blush while listening to the audiobook. It gave bodice ripper vibes, except make it Italian winemaker and mafia adjacent. My review does not mention the plot because I didn’t read it for the plot. 😅

Why did I think this was a trilogy?! Lmao. It’s NOT! The series continues! I’m glad but it was totally unexpected with THAT insane cliffhanger!
This is Enzo and Bianca’s love story.
Bianca is the sister of Enzo’s awful dead wife.
You see, Enzo and Bianca were lovers first until her sister manipulated Enzo into a marriage. She’s gone. And Enzo wants that second chance even if Bianca wants nothing to do with him.
But he’s a Cavalieri and if we know one thing about this family of men, they take the women they want and bend their will.
“He was a poisoned wine I was slowly killing myself with…sip by sip.
A delicious dark pain, like a sick pleasure you got from pressing on a bruise. I had twisted and tangled myself in the chains that now bound me to him.”
It’s a push and pull until Bianca relents. She’s always loved him but he broke her heart before. She won’t let it happen again.

I feel like a three is being generous with this book, but I enjoyed how it wrapped up so many questions from book two and the time Bianca spent standing her ground against Enzo. That’s pretty much it 😅.
I had some major issues with Enzo in book two and honestly he didn’t make it better in this one. It’s the same thing over and over and over with Bianca. He forces himself on her telling her she’s his, she says no, then the noncon comes in. Literally this is the whole. entire. book. The reason why the dominance worked for book two was because the H didn’t actually do the things the h thought he did. Enzo actually DID hurt Bianca and married her sister. Which is another thing, this woman was able to drug you and claim you hooked up, but wasn’t capable of faking a pregnancy? He got no proof of his own merit (it was all produced by Renata), he got no DNA test done of his own merit, he didn’t even have proof they had intercourse (spoiler, they didn’t).
This was one of those times where the situation called for lots and lots of grovel, especially with what Bianca’s family had put her through. We got 0 of that, just him being “dominant” and forcing her to like whatever he’s doing to her. Again, sometimes that really works for a story, and sometimes (like here) it doesn’t. It didn’t feel believable. The ending was insanely rushed and their relationship was weirdly resolved. Like did I miss it? One minute she’s trying to go back to New York the next she’s engaged to him?
Now I’m all for dark romance and dubcon/noncon but only when it’s enjoyable/serves its purpose to the heroine too. I’m sorry but if you’re planning a back door scene, PLEASE don’t use a bar of soap as lubricant and please don’t make it unrealistic. There’s nothing spicy about knowing a character is physically being hurt by not being prepped by someone who is supposed to “love” her. I truly didn’t feel that even in their spicy scenes, which was a huuuge part of the book and a huge bummer. I just don’t think Enzo was punished nearly enough for what he did to Bianca. You can have a dom character like Enzo, but given the situation he was in we REALLY needed to see his feelings and soft side more.
Also, why was Bianca able to say no to Enzo repeatedly (even for him to just force intercourse immediately afterwards) but not her parents? There were so many secrets kept between all the characters in this book it got annoying. I was really looking forward to this one but Cesare’s story still reigns supreme in this series.

I mean, Zoe never disappoints. I love that little curveball she snuck in; she was like, Sike, it's not a trilogy anymore. *inserts Zoe's evil laugh* I love her writing, and her men are always such possessive, obsessive alphaholes. The mouth on Enzo was filthy. What I wouldn't give for him to bend me over and teach me a lesson. 😈

I love that this series is set in Italy at the family’s Winery. This book was action packed and so intense. The sεχ was intense. Like Olympic sports intense. It was packed with danger, lies, secrets, and everything that will have you on the edge of your seat until the very last page.
We also get to see past characters Amara, Barone, Cesare, and Milana. Also more Aunt Gabriella which is my favorite side character!
This book left me paralyzed. I was finished and thinking about it and when I looked at the clock again 41 minutes had passed. I literally hadn’t realized that the time had passed. Most books that I finish I move on to the next one immediately but this one just left me paralyzed. I don’t know any other word to describe it.
If you want a couple who has to fight tooth and nail …..If you want a hero who can takes what he wants and won’t take no for an answer…..If you want a book that will make you feel all the feels…… this is the book! It’s not an easy path but it’s a journey that you will remember for years to come. Zoe Blake has done it again. This book and this entire series is not one you that want you want to miss!

I'm usually hesitant about second chance tropes, especially when the premise is the H marrying another woman, but it's a double yikes when it's the sister- but Enzo and Bianca's story was just *chef's kiss*. Enzo is easily my favorite of the Cavalieri men.
If you're like me and you stay away from second chances because of cheating and OW/OM drama, I would suggest reading Enzo's chapters in book two. There is a lot of insight that sets this story up.
This book literally checked ALL of my boxes and MORE for second chances, I can't really get into it without revealing spoilers so continue at your own discretion:
Some things I found silly but weren't deal breakers for me
One thing I wish I saw more of were more softer and sweeter moments between Enzo and Bianca. The scene when he was washing her hair made me turn into goo.
I just adored the scene at the cafe with Milana and Bianca. Milana's POV was so funny and Bianca was so naive and clueless pouring her little heart out LOL.
Honorable mention for my bestie Aunt Gabriella, I want to be her when I grow up. I hope she gets her own book or even a novella.

Ten stars for this latest one by Zoe Blake! Blake always delivers a fabulous story. We are taken back to the Cavaliers Vineyards as we watch Enzo and Bianca’s story unfold. This was a fast paced wild ride of intrigue and romance that sets the pages on fire. I could not put it down! And readers, what a frustration with the epilogue! Blake you are truly evil😈! You give a nail biting book and leave us hanging! Excellent read… can’t wait for the next installment in this series!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

As soon as this book was released I had to read it. The characters in this book were perfect and the storyline was so well written I couldn't put the book down.

I couldn't wait to read Bianca and Enzo's story after that slap at the end of Sins of the Brother. My heart cried for how Bianca's heart was trampled on by Renata's deceit and Enzo's sense of honor. In case you haven't read the first two (which you should before reading this or you'll be a bit lost) Bianca and Enzo dated and were crazy about each other until Bianca's sister, Renata, sabotaged the relationship for power and money by tricking Enzo into marrying her. Luckily, Renata got was was coming to her ('cause fuck around and find out) and Enzo is determined to make Bianca's his again.
All I can say is that it was fantastic. Bianca's emotions were portrayed in a way that was easy to empathize with, which made it quite a wild ride with her trying to protect herself after being hurt so badly by Enzo the first time. We finally find the other players involved in the incident with Milana, and are introduced to a new hero which is fantastic since I was thinking this would just be a trilogy. Now I'm thinking we may have at least two more?
I'm a sucker for a hero saving the heroine from a bad situation while also being an overbearing, over the top, jealous but caring man hunk, and this scratched that itch tenfold. Plus, as always it was steamy AF, and damn do Zoe and her hero's belt make me *happy*.
The only thing I (embarrassingly) found myself skimming over was the chapter with Barone and Amara. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE them and it was spicy, but I was just itching to get back to Bianca and Enzo's story after Milana and her had their conversation. I did end up going back to reread it after and thoroughly enjoyed it, I was just so pulled into the main story in the moment that I couldn't keep focused.
I'm not even touching that ending cause I don't want to give spoilers, but if you're nervous because you've seen a lot of talk about the bomb that was dropped with no context, just know that Bianca and Enzo get their HEA.
All I can say is that it was fantastic. You know when a book is so good you slow down your reading so the book doesn’t end so fast? This is one of those books - it’s a banger!
Our story has been building since book one in the series, Scandals of the Father. Enzo’s wife Renata has been found dead, and he’s considered by most of the villagers to be the guilty party. Enzo never loved Renata, marrying her out of a sense of duty because he thought she was pregnant. He broke the heart of his true love, Renata’s younger sister Bianca. He knows they’re meant to be together, but there are other sinister forces at play.
This book is intense to the extreme. The passion between Enzo and Bianca burns up the pages and singes your fingers. The author does a phenomenal job of writing the tension between the two main characters and continuing the mystery which runs through these books. The world building is perfect, providing readers with the flavor and feeling of Italy. One of the things I like best is we continue to get the points of view of other characters who contribute to the story.
I highly recommend the Cavalieri Billionaire Legacy series. It’s top notch! Read and let me know what you think - I’d love to discuss.

This couple has been through so much. They had hopes and dreams and love and plans for the future but it was ripped away from them by some terrible people in their lives. Holy Hotness!! You are just not prepared for this one, I know I wasn't. This book focuses on Enzo and Bianca's story and boy is it juicy!! Succulent drama, intense emotions, thick tension, stunning twists, jaw on the floor revelations and blistering heat create a seductive and consuming combination that grabbed me by the throat, stole my breath and had me squirming, swooning and falling hard. The overarching storyline of the series delivers some desperately wished for answers along with many enticing new scenes featuring the couples from the first two books. If you haven't started this series yet and you love dark, hot, twisted and kinky reads, you absolutely must dive into this series right now, because trust me, it will be your new addiction. It sure is mine. By my own accord I am posting a candid review.

Holy wow! I picked this book up and couldn’t put it down, there are really no words to describe how much I enjoyed this book. I liked Barone and Cesare but Enzo is a whole other level.
This story is not only smoking hot it’s fast paced and full of suspense that keeps you flipping the pages. If you’re familiar with this author you know she writes the most amazing MMC and the perfect FMC for them and these two are no different. This is Enzo’s second chance and he definitely does some groveling to win Bianca back!! My jaw is still on the floor from the last few chapters and that ending has me itching for the next book!

They just keep getting better and better!!! I LOVE these books!! The Italian backdrop, the food and wine descriptions, the characters, the spice- everything is chef’s kiss!!
I love these characters- and with each new book in the series I’m getting more and more invested in this story. I flew through this book at a record pace- and I loved every page.
