Can't Resist #3

Choosing the Right Man

Rate this book
Connor’s back. Just when Abby’s life seems all but perfect, the infuriating man comes charging back in to wreak havoc on her emotions once again. And in typical Connor fashion, he has yet another proposal for her. But instead of a wild and fast fling, he’s proposing... forever.

Brian’s not giving her up without a fight. Normally the tame one of the pair, Brian is holding nothing back in the battle for Abby’s heart. He has a decade-long head start in knowing and loving everything about Abby — but is that enough to break the intense hold his brother has on her heart?

Now Abby must decide once and for all between the two brothers — between the bad boy wanting to start a life with her and the good guy fighting for the life they’ve already built.

Note: This is NOT a standalone. This is the third book in a three-book serial.

Dear author:
You do realize before people read the 3rd book in a series a majority of us read 1 & 2 first? You can not start making shit up that is not true at the end of a series...or actually & preferably never.

"We never told each other we loved each other." Uhhh...yeah you did...first book...I was there...

"I told myself I'd give you a month to figure out if you loved my brother." This isn't okay... It's weird. It's not cool to any party involved & their feelings. Whatever. Done.

WTF!? Not only am I not a fan of love triangles but I'm definitely not a fan of love triangles that involves two brothers! Then this installment took it further by having the h dating them both at the same time in what they called "joint custody dating"! Sure it's fiction but seriously? This was just DIRTY! First she, Abby, sleeps with Connor then Brian and back to oh yeah! Connor. Abby loves Conner but then she's always loved Brian and didn't realize it but really she never stooped loving Conner while in love with Brian. I don't want to be unfair to the entire series because I did like book 1 and to some degree book 2 but I wishes a conclusion would've been reached there and not make her seem like a slut by going from one to the other in trying to decide which one she "love" more. I didn't really like Abby, I couldn't connect with her character but I did enjoy Brian's character the most. Connor was just hot! Lol!!

I did notice that most readers gave the book 5 stars! I wished I could've too but I couldn't get over Abby being with two brothers and in turn both of them being okay with that too!

I'm happy with how the book ended. I think it was the right choice. I just need to pretend there wasn't sex with both brothers and then I'm fine with the whole story.

Violet Duke's writing and characterization is great. She was able to create three dimensional characters with interesting back stories that shaped their choices. The ending was satisfying and I would definitely read more from Duke.

I fell in love with Conner in the first book and was a bit unsettled with the ending. I loved Brian and his daughter, Skylar, but just couldn't imagine Abby not being with Conner. When the second book in this series came out about Brian trying to win Abby, I waited until the third/final book was released so that I could move right on to the conclusion without interruption. So glad I waited, because I would have been majorly stressing! The friendship between Brian and Abby is a powerful bond and so strong. It's a very blessed connection and one that I felt would have been tarnished, had Abby and Brian continued to try and become romantically involved. So much of their relationship includes Brian's deceased wife, that you could tell their relationship just wasn't as powerful as the relationship with Conner. Brian loves easily and is such a sweet, sweet soul. Conner however, had a harder time trusting and had never given his heart to anyone other than Abby. You could feel so much love and chemistry between Abby and Conner, whereas with Brian, everything was just comfortable. It's obvious I was pulling for Conner.

SPOILERS.... STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT TO SEE THEM ........ STOP NOW....

That being said, I was absolutely thrilled when she choose Conner, and so glad that she and Brian could remain best/close friends. Conner deeply loves his brother and will have no problems allowing he and Abby time together. I was a little nervous with how much Skylar wanted Abby as her new mom, but happy Skylar understands and sees how much Abby loves Conner and accepts that Abby will be a great Aunt. You will learn a secret about Abby that I will allow you to discover, but it will help explain a little more detail about Abby. It will also cause you to love Conner and his understanding and caring nature even more. Such a wonderful man!!

And, we are promised a happy ending for Brian as well. I cannot wait! Finding the Right Girl will be Brian and Tessa's story and is supposed to be out in October. You will meet Tessa at the end of this story, and you will immediately fall in love with her, and envision she and Brian being together and being happy. We only get a little taste of Tessa, but you can tell she will give Brian a run for the money and be just what he needs. Plus she and Skylar hit it off great. They have a lot in common, so I know it will be good.

Over all, super book and wonderful series. You should read all three books in order, but good news - since all three are out, the fact that the first two leave you hanging doesn't matter because you can read right through the series.

In the third book of Nice Girl to Love - Choosing the Right Man, Abby is going to have to make a choice between brothers Brian and Connor. In Falling For the Bad Boy (book 1), Abby had a month of bliss with Connor, the bad boy brother of her best friend Brian. When the month was over, he let her go...and didn't come after her. Brian, in Falling for the Good Guy (book 2), finally realizes the extent of his feelings for Abby go far beyond the friendship they've always had. Seeing her with his brother was just the push he needed to try to win her over, and make her see that they could have so much more together.

In Choosing the Right Man, things come to a head, and Abby finds herself caught between the two brothers. She loves them both, but who is she in love with? Even Abby can't make up her mind. Both brothers want her. Connor is much deeper than he appears. His bad boy persona is all in the past, and he's struggled with his own family issues. He wants the chance to show Abby how good they are together. He needs to be honest with his feelings and show her who he really is. Abby is drawn to him, just the thought of him makes her heart race. Abby has known Brian forever...they're best friends and she's seen him through some very rough times, being a second mother to his daughter Skylar. She is attached to both Brian and Skylar...she knows everything about Brian, the good and the bad. She has loved Brian as a friend forever, will she be able to love him as more than that?

Brian and Connor come up with a way to spend time together with Abby separately, giving her a chance to figure out who her future will be with. It is an emotional, overwhelming time for Abby. There are so many factors that influence how she feels, who she really wants to be with, and who she thinks she should be with. No matter who her heart belongs to, someone will be hurt. Abby is going to have to decide with her heart what is best for her, who she wants to spend forever with.

The characters in the book are very well developed and all of them work well together. We get some insight into all of them...how they feel and what they are going through. I do think you need to read the first two books in this series to get a good understanding of their backgrounds.

Violet works the plot of 2 brothers wanting the same woman perfectly. When Abby is spending time with each brother, there is not a lot of comparing the brothers, which worked really well. She focuses instead on the feelings each of the characters are experiencing. There is very little sex, although there are certainly moments that have the pages smoldering! I certainly don't mind well written sex scenes (which Violet does write very well!), but that wasn't what this book was about. I was really relieved there were no sex comparisons between the brothers, that would have just been too weird for me! Violet writes Choosing the Right Man in such a way that there is no discomfort or weirdness about Abby having been with both brothers and now trying to choose between them.

Choosing the Right Man was a fast paced, fun romantic read. It does have its serious side too though...something that makes it even harder for Abby to choose, and you find yourself hoping she'll pick who you would! I loved Choosing the Right Man!! Thank you Violet for another great read! I think Abby made the right choice! I love how Choosing the Right Man ends, and you will too, regardless of who you're hoping Abby will have her happily ever after with. We are left with enough to be very sated readers, but looking forward to Violet's next book!

Wow, oh my gosh. Well first of all, I loved Connor and Abby in the first book. I could tell Connor was falling in love with her and then at the end, he lets her go and sends her into the arms of his brother. I was like, what?? That is where the second book comes in. Even after loving Connor like I did, I was starting to love Brian and Abby together in this book too. Brian and Abby were just so darn sweet and it looks like she is starting to love him and she has always loved his daughter and then at the end of that book, bam, Connor is back. And now I was like, oh man, what now?? And that is where this book begins. Both Connor and Brian have declared their love for Abby. Now she has the job of deciding who she wants to spend the rest of her life with. Some of the things that they do to try and show her that they are the one she belongs with are just too funny. My heart actually breaks for all 4 of them while they are on this journey. When she is with Brian and Skylar, Connor is sad and when she is with Connor, Brian is sad. No matter who she chooses, someone is going to be hurt but it will still be a win, win for Abby because they both love her. Well, after reading this book and knowing who she chooses makes my heart sing. I was so happy. For the one she doesn't choose, let me tell you that there is going to be a spinoff book in a couple of months for him to get his HEA, because this book does end on an HEA for Abby. So, do you want to know who she chooses?? Read the book, lol. You will not be disappointed!! And Connor and Brian's mom in this book was just so darn hilarious!! I was given a copy of this book for an honest review and I loved it. I can't wait to read the spinoff. Great job Violet.

*Sigh* Everything is now right in the world, because I just got through reading the final book, Choosing the Right Man. While waiting for this book, I was pretty much going crazy (and driving my hubby crazy) as I wondered who Abby would choose! Once I finished the book, the first thing I did was text my hubby telling him: “I KNOW WHO SHE CHOOSES!”

Well, I couldn’t help but wonder how Ms. Duke was going to write a whole book three on answering the question of who Abby chooses, but wowza–what a fantastic end to the trilogy (well, semi-end, but more on that later). It’s not a quick and easy question of who she chooses; we’re taken on an emotional adventure as we see how both guys would make a perfect HEA. We learn more about each character (love the additional info on Violet’s backstory) and also face the choice that so many new grads have to choose: what happens when you get a job offer away from those you love. That coupled with the tragic history of Brian’s late wife’s passing and the implications for their daughter Skylar, Choosing the Right Man is so much more than a simple “Who does Abby choose?”

Just like the previous two books, it’s witty, raw, and at times heart wrenching. I loved how Ms. Duke ended this book. It’s so perfect, and if I hadn’t been rooting for the brother Abby does end up choosing, I would be after reading this story! Luckily for us, there’s a future book planned for the brother who didn’t get his HEA, and you’ll get a sneak peek in the epilogue. Oooooh, I can’t wait! For heat level, I’d say it’s high due to a few super hot scenes and the overall sexual tension in the book. This book is a solid 5 out of 5!

This is the third and final book in the Nice Girl to Love series and it is fantastic. I enjoyed the first two books very much, however, this story is the icing on the cake. It is so good I read it in one evening because I could not put it down. The writing is top-notch and the richly developed characters are authentic, funny and very likable.

Abby Bartlett is on cloud nine. She is finally a PhD after years and years of hard work and study. In addition to finding a new job, she has another huge problem. Brothers, Connor and Brian Sullivan are in love with her. Abby and Connor had a one month fling that evolved into true love and lust. Connor is a known playboy, but somehow Abby has burrowed her way into his heart. Brian has been Abby's best friend and rock for years. After years of friendship, Brian finally realizes that Abby may be the second true love of his life. When Brian's wife was diagnosed with cancer, Abby stepped in to help and as a result, became a surrogate mother to their daughter Skylar.

Which brother is Abby in love with? The hot, sexy attorney that swept her off her feet and makes her heart race? Or the handsome, sweet educator that truly understands her and makes her heart melt? Both men are wonderful in their own way and devise a dating method in order to help Abby make a decision.

I loved this book! Not only are the primary characters tangible, the secondary characters have personality and wit, which provides some comedic release during some angst driven moments. I am truly looking forward to he the author's next series.

I’m going to admit to reading a review before hand and finding out who Abby ends up with. And I’m going to be honest and say I wasn’t happy with that choice. But it didn’t stop me from reading the book and after I did I was happy it ended the way it did. And I’m not going to be one of those people just because it wasn’t the brother I wanted to leave a bad review as on the whole the book was Awesome.
With all three books I couldn’t put them down Violet really draws you in with this story and oh the heartache you feel for these characters is gut wrenching.
I thought it would be the one that got left be hide that would make me cry but no it was Skylar words that made me cry like a baby. I have to say there is a wedding and it was beautiful and a perfect ending for the happy couple.
There were some lighter moments; Brian and Conner while fighting come up the idea of having a joint custody dating agreement with Abby and I found that whole scene funny (just my humour.)
The only thing I didn’t like about this book is the ending I would of believed it more if the one character had maybe be introduced in book 2 not right at the end of this one. But to be honest I know there is going to be a happy ever after for the other brother and I will be reading it.

Okay so I have thought long and hard on this review in an effort to not spoil anyone's read with my review. So here goes....

The Final Book - Finally! or is it....?? LOL. This book was hilarious as Book 1 Connor and Book 2 Brian ran the race against each other instead of a tag team. Poor Abby is ran through the ringer as even Mom helps the boys and her bring this to a close and help everyone find their HEA.

The guys are trying to balance the brother code versus knowing this is the woman they love and aren't willing to give up. Each person suffers some heartache as the battle is on. A deal with the devil(s) is made and it is do or die time.

Skylar is back - with a bit more maturity under her belt as she is faced with grown up issues to deal with. We get some things that we were curious about answered and hopeful for the future (hence "or is
it....")

The decesion is gut wrenching because like abby with each date or interaction you are rooting for the other guy, but in the end - True Love prevails and the brother steps back knowing Abby belongs in that home.

Great Job Violet Duke, can't wait for the poor guy left behind to find his HEA!

I received and arc copy of this book for an honest review
I felt like I was waiting forever for this book! I mean I needed to know who she was going to choose! Good guy Brian or bad boy Connor. I don't know how Ms. Duke made her decision - I'm just glad I didn't have to! Both guys are amazing and you want to root for both of them. But in the end, the way the story unfolds, you realize only one is her match. As the reader, you end up ok with her choice, even if you were rooting for the other guy. I have enjoyed reading this series and each story blended together beautifully. The characters are written perfectly and the pace of the story works. I'm glad that the man she didn't choose will get his own story, you want him to get his happy ever after.
My only complaint, I wanted more! I did note a few omitted words, but it wasn't enough to be a big concern. So I will be waiting until October to read the rest of the story. Well done, Violet Duke. You convinced me she chose the right man! I suggest you check out this series and enjoy some nice light reading that you can curl up with a nice glass of wine and relax with.

While I loved the first two books in this Nice Girl To Love series written by Violet Duke, I absolutely-over-the-top-adored this third installment.

In this novel, Abby, a 'nice' girl falls in love with two brothers. Connor is a 'bad boy' who captivates Abby in ways she never knew existed. Brian, his brother, has been Abby's best friend for most of their lives. He is the typical nice guy who says and does the right things at the right moment. Abby also loves and cherishes Brian's daughter, Skylar, as her own and has taken care of her for her entire life since Skylar's mom, Beth, was terminally ill. Problem is, Abby loves both men and she does not know which brother has her complete heart. Her journey to find her true love comes with her being able to also find herself. The trials they all face land each of them exactly where they are supposed to be.

Choosing the Right Man is the epitome of a great series which for me, probably had to do with the fact that I was on the edge, hanging on to all the ups and downs Abby had to go through before she got the ending that was right for her.

In all honesty I was thrilled with the guy Abby chose as he was the one I cheered on from the onset and I all but jumped for joy when it happened as though Abby was my best friend.

This third book was definitely the best written of all three in this series. It was captivating to the point where I realized that I was smiling and crying right along with the characters. That to me, is a great feat for an author and huge cudos goes out to Violet Duke for making that happen. She definitely involves the reader and takes us on an emotional journey that we are sure to love.

I'm giving this book a complete five star review - it was just THAT good. I recommend this novel to anyone who's looking for a great novel to dive their nose into - but please, read books one and two before you do!

(I received a free e-copy of this book in return for an honest review, and this truly is my honest opinion.)

Connor...Brian...wait Connor...no Brian...

Okay so in Choosing the Right Man we follow Abby,Connor, and Brian. It's starts where it left off in Falling for the Good Guy. Abby finds herself torn between the two men she loves. Connor is the infamous bad boy who realizes he is capable of loving and Brian is the best friend who realizes his feelings for Abby have gone beyond friendship. My,my how do you choose?!

Connor and Brian come up with a way for both of them to hang with Abby in order for her to choose which one she wants. I applaud both men because sharing her the way they did shows just how much they both love her. I feel like most men wouldn't even try.

From 75% on I think I had tears running down my face. I may be a big baby but I found the story bittersweet. I wouldn't want to be stuck in between two men knowing that in the end I would end up hurting one of them. This is where Abby and I differ. She chose to date both men but I would have gave both of them up. I would feel way too guilty hurting someone but I wouldn't feel guilty if it was myself I was hurting. Sounds terrible...it's just the way I work unfortunately.

As always the characters are awesome. They feel so real and going into Choosing the Right Man, they feel like family.

There is a HEA with a fun little surprise in the end. (Well surprising for me!)
Lets just say I am happy and leave it at that;)

I fully recommend these books! They make you feel good and not to mention they are so sweet and romantic. Oh and also a little steamy! You'll see why. Go get the book and see what I am talking about.

This review is for all three of the Nice Girl to Love books.

I'm kind if neutral on the whole love triangle theme. When it is done well I don't mind the drama. These three books included not only a love triangle but a triangle including two brothers. This could have been a train wreck if not done well. Thankfully they were done very well and somehow I found myself rooting for each of the brothers at one time or another. In the first book I loved Connor. In the second book I was all about Brian. By the third and last book I found myself more confused than poor Abby. In the end the right man won, of course that could be because there just wasn't a wrong man.

These stories are short and sweet and completely satisfying. I can't wait to read the spinoff series.

This is the third book in this trilogy and you MUST read books one and two before this one as this is NOT a standalone. Okay, we finished book two yelling WHAT?!?!? and now in book three we have to come to grips if we are team Brian or team Connor and who will Abby choose. This book will take you through twists and turns and emotional highs and lows but we will finally get a happy ending! I definitely recommend this trilogy!

Bittersweet Ending ❤

Such a bittersweet ending with Abby. I love how it all played out. I could tell that Connor was the guy she was loved as more than friends. I know Brian is going be her best friend. Also Skylar is going be friends and family to Abby. Can't wait to see what happens next with Brian and Skylar. Plus from what I read can't wait to learn more about Tessa. ;)

Wow!! I can't express how much I loved this book! Violet Duke has fast become one of my favorite authors and I will never hesitate to purchase one of her books! I was on pins and needles waiting for this 3rd book in the series to see how Violet would work it all out since I loved both Brian and Connor (as did Abby!) and, as I've come to count on, Ms. Duke does not disappoint her readers! Of course it helps that Abby chose the man I wanted her to be with! ((Big Smiles))

Because of the nature of this ending, I am not going to spoil this book for other readers, but I will say I eagerly encourage any romance lover to read this (and of course the first two) book. You won't be sorry and you will find a story with well-developed characters you will easily come to connect with, sympathize with, laugh with (and at), cry with, and love. You will see them make sacrifices and demonstrate loyalty we all hope to find in our friends, family and lovers. And you will be fanning yourself reading the heat and passion that comes off the pages in such a delightfully descriptive way. In other words, you will not be disappointed and you will agree Ms. Duke's books are worth every penny!!

I have to also confess, I enjoyed the first two books of this three-part series Nice Girl to Love so much I put off reading CHOOSING THE RIGHT MAN for a few days after I received it, because I knew with the investment I had in these characters a part of me would be sad to see it end. I'm sure there are other fans out there with similar thoughts. I am happy to say I was soooo pleasantly surprised to find there will be a new book. FINDING THE RIGHT GIRL will tell the new love story of the guy Abby doesn't choose. A Happily Ever After for everyone(and you wonder why I say Violet Duke never lets me down!) all wrapped up to take away our sympathy for the other guy!!

"Choosing the Right Man" is the third and final installment in the "Nice Girl to Love" series and we see Abby Sullivan in a quandary... Does she choose the nice guy or the bad boy? With whom will she share her "happily ever after"?

Connor and Brian Sullivan are as close as two brothers can get and would do absolutely anything for each other but if there's one thing that either one wants completely for himself, it's Abby. They're both in love with her...the question is, who is Abby truly in love with?

I've been on Team Connor from the beginning and it was great seeing these two together again during the whole joint custody dating scenario the brothers had cooked up. For those who haven't read any of the books in the series or those who haven't gotten around to book three yet (What?! What the heck are you waiting for???), I won't get into who Abby ended up choosing but I guess it's safe to say that with the spin-off being released, it's kind of obvious already. Hehe. ^.^

The series as a whole was wonderfully written and while there were a few steamy moments, there was definitely nothing pornographic about it (a definite breath of fresh air!). I loved the series and the characters. "Choosing the Right Man" gets five stars and the series may not average to a five-star rating based on my four-star rating for the second book BUT I still choose to give the series as a whole FIVE STARS! So there! ^.^

OMG the long awaited conclusion to this complex love triangle. i read the back of this book to see who she chose because i just couldnt wait lol.

2 brothers in love with the same girl. One has loved her as a best friend for years and slowly realised that he was in love with her and the other fell in love with her nice girl ways over less than a month period.

i have to confess i never read this story in its sequence and therefor Brian was my preferred choice and i felt really sad for his whole situation. He had soooo many balls thrown at him but he just kept up a brave front.

so i finally read Connors book and i have to say i actually fell more for him than Brian. Connor is like a secret hero who sacifices all for those he loves.im glad i read this book second because i feel that brian would be in awe of the type of person that connor really is.

all in all both guys were gems. and the guy she chose deserved it but was still sorry for the loser as he was perfect too.

the heroine was funny and typical goody girl next door. what i didnt get is that she never revealed all her secrets to brian (even though they new each other forever)

sad point is HUNTINGTONS for anyone who has it sucks. i thank the author for raising this sad illness in these books.

awesome read. i cried a lot and that means it was fantabulous

This review is for the first three books in the Nice Girl to Love series: Being a new reader to the romance genre, I was checking out various authors before I decided whose books to begin with and to purchase. With good reviews and liking what I read about Violet, I gave her Nice Girl to Love boxed set a test. Well, I think that in this test, Violet scored close to 100 as I see things. As I said, I don't have a lot of previous reading experience with romance books, just a few of mystery and romance combined, but I truly enjoyed these three books very much. Just about everyone does a write up about the characters, and what they did, and how they wish they had done this or that, but I am going to say something different. I went into this with no preconceived expectations, and I gave each subject full reign to get to know me and me to know him or her. By being open-minded about the subjects and their story, I felt drawn in and by book two definitely wanted to read book three. I found some pages made my laugh, some made me feel sad, and others just made me do some additional thinking, and isn't that what makes a great book series? If all of the rest of Violet's books are this entertaining with such magnetic characters that you want to like to read about again and again, then I am a fan for sure.

Keep up the great writing, Violet.

I RECEIVED AN ARC OF THIS IN EXCHANGE FOR MY HONEST REVIEW!

This is the final book in Violet Duke's Nice Girl To Love trilogy. The first book was Abby and Connor's story which ended with a cliffhanger. Then came book two which was Abby and Brian's story and also ended with a cliffhanger. Now we reach the end of our journey...who will Abby choose?

I loved this book. I couldn't imagine a better ending for this trilogy. The characters have continued to grow and develop throughout the series. With them learning that there are different types of love and the importance of family. Brian and Connor's mom is a great character and I like the way she was added to the story. It was nice to see the boys having one parent loving them and being a parent to them before the end of the book. Their mom may not have been the best mom growing up but she has sure learned how to play the guilt card. Love it.

Violet Duke this trilogy is amazing. You keep the reader guessing right up until she makes her decision and then you have us guessing a little bit more. I loved this book and couldn't put it down. I look forward to reading more from you and the story you write for the one who wasn't choosen. This series is a definite must read for all book enthusiasts out there.

Okay, so before I get into this, I have to make one thing clear...I have never been a fan of love triangles. Especially when it involves two brothers. With that being said...Violet Duke has completely changed my mind about them. As if the story can't get any better...Connor comes back and he doesn't plan on going down without a fight. But Brian doesn't plan on letting go of Abby so easy. This book is a emotional rollercoaster ride on the path of having to make a choice...between the man she knows she shouldn't want and the man who has been her best friend for years. I was absolutely blown away with this story. While in my mind, I knew who I wanted her to end up with, I couldn't help but feel totally heartbroken for the other. But I haven't given up hope yet for the guy who doesn't end up with Abby. This book is by the best one of the them all. The perfect ending to such a heart warming, gut wrenching, beautiful story with such wonderful characters! I am only sad to see the end of their story but looking forward to more to come from Violet Duke.

Series: Nice Girl to Love #3
Review:

"Choosing the Right Man" by Violet Duke was the third series in 'Nice Girl to Love' for this author. This was indeed my favorite of this series YES! Ms. Abby was once and for all having to choose between these two brothers,...Brian or Connor. Who will it be? This was really some decision because Abby loved both of the brothers and then there was the attachment of Brian's daughter Skylar.

This was definitely a emotional time for Abby as well as the two brothers. The author did a wonderful job with giving the reader such well developed characters that worked so well together only to give us a awesome read that you simply could not put down until the end.

If you are looking for a for a 'fast paced, fun romantic read' ...this series: 'Nice Girl to Love ...1...2..and 3 would be recommended to you as a excellent read.

Damn you Violet Duke for making me a sobbing mess while reading book three of this series!! I have never been so torn when reading a series as I have been with this one. In book one I was absolutely convinced that Connor was the one for Abby. In book two I changed my mind and thought it was Brian who deserved Abby. In book three I was convinced that Violet needed to take a page out of Julia Kent's books and let them just have a happily ever after ménage!!! With that being said since Violet didn't do that....I think that Abby absolutely picked her true love, but still wished that after all Brian has been through he deserved that happiness also. I just hope in Brian's story that I'm getting ready to read that everything works out perfectly including Skylar being ok...here's to fingers crossed as I begin reading his book!!! Btw...great job Violet on getting me hooked from beginning to end with such a well written fabulous series!!

If you read the first two books, this is obviously a must read. I won't lie this particular end of the trilogy was my least favorite. The way Brian had to endure Abby figuring out her feelings were just downright heart wrenching. I always believed she would end up with the bad boy, but the story didn't convince me that those two belonged together. instead I ended up hating them both for hurting Brian in that manner. I know the saying its better to have lost than never loved at all, but in this case I wish those feelings between Abby and Brian had stayed platonic. I loved the first two novels, but this one left me unsatisfied and sad. I just hope Brian and Tessa's story will be as compelling as the first two books in the series and Brian will get his happy ending.

If you love a sweet romance filled with fun and likeable characters, these books are for you. Each book is pretty short(140-170pgs), so it is a quick and enjoyable read. Great series! Each book was better than the last. These book talks about Huntington's Disease and captured the life of a family in the midst of the disease, it is a heartfelt story that will make you cry along with the characters and laugh with them through the crazy journey that is their life.It was very emotional and of course HOT!! I just don't know who I love more Brian or Connor. My first from this author but definitely not my last, I am looking forward to reading the spin-off.
