Holmes has a different writing style than i am used to but it made the story come alive. I feel there are more adventures to be had with Evelyn and her friends and I want to go on them!

I have read these two stories before, I received them individually and enjoyed reading them. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book set as a Free copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

2 books in 1 Cupcakes and Cyanide, which was short and cute , and Pumpkin Pies & Potions, which was really fun, clever and refreshing. 3 stars for Cupcakes, 4 stars for Pumpkins. I will likely keep reading the Pumpkin series. Witches, magic, murder mystery, and a delicious cafe. Great light and fun reading.

This book was so good I couldn’t put it down I’m going to have to read the rest of both series it was amazing that this had 2 books in 1
