He has a simple job, working in a candle store in a mostly empty mall, a roommate to help make the ends meet, and the ability to walk magical lines that take him places instantly.
He also has a split personality that thinks he might be a homosexual, and a few pesky demons hanging around far too much for his liking.
So when there's a sudden attack at a different mall, Zack is asked to help sort things out, which is where the fun really begins.
Because it seems that some people have taken it into their heads to think that he, the humble candle man, is a demon too. In fact, some of them are banking on it.
That means no end of trouble, if he can't get it sorted out fast.
Possibly even a war.
No one sane wants that. Even Zack doesn't, and he hasn't claimed to be in his right mind in a long, long time.
P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line. Or visit his forum: http://pspowerbooks.com/phpBBF/index.php
In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!
Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

I don't really know how to write this review. The story is kind of weird. Zack has a girlfriend Lenore who is the vampire ambassador who works in the yogurt shop. There is a lot of talk about sex in this book but it never seems to happen. Zack spent more time with Lenore in the first book when they weren't "going out" than in this book. People keep saying they want to have sex with Zack but he is 5'10" and about 125 pounds. He looks anorexic and malnourished. Maybe that's the reason he isn't taking them up in their offer? That they are willing to have sex with him is obvious, but not that they actually want to have sex with him. He also seems to work insanely hard for the mage embassy. We find out more information about Zack's missing past which pretty much changes everything and not really for the good
I still want to know what is going to happen since everything changed at the end of this book, so I am looking forward to the next one.
Loved the book, great way to increase the cast and give them their own personalitys. The origin of the MC and the revelations where greatly done and felt natural. Great story so far, I am eagerly going for the third book.
I think this is my third time reading the series. It never gets old. PS Power is and has been for sometime my favorite author. He is one of the most creative and hard working authors I know of. Read this series! Then go on to his more than 100 other novels, you'll enjoy the ride...
The big reveal is in this book. If you've been reading the Keeley Thompson series you already know what it is. My annoyance is that the two series are so intertwined. It works as you get a different perspective, but there really needs to be a reader's guide for the order between the series.
