2.5 stars. The fluffy (very G rated btw) romance storyline was fine. The setting was fabulous - we had just visited Positano when I started this so I loved being able to picture the setting while it was still fresh in my mind. There was a current of diet culture that was very annoying and distracting. It was sort of relevant in that the main character had a lot of insecurities she was working through, but it really wasn’t necessary and took away from the story in my opinion.
Such a fun read - I love Positano and a book set there was all It took to get me to read it. Kate is visiting to write a novel When she meets a handsome and mysterious man. She falls for him nor remixing he is the head of an Italian business empire. This is a fun escapist read and I am looking forward to more books by Rini!
This book was so delightful. I was just in Positano last summer and I felt like I was right back there. The characters were so charming and the romance was sweet. This is a clean romance but has enough romantic tension to still bring out all the feels.
The book took too long to reach the plot. The main characters were underwhelming and showed many unhealthy insecurities. I didn’t like that the events and overall plot was unrealistic. Also lacked romance.
