Paranormal Elements with Bites of Reality

The Magic Heart, by Anne Leigh Parrish, is an eclectic collection of three short stories.

In Trial By Luck, an engaged couple on a road trip run into the unexpected: A Genie. In a trial by fire, Laurie and Jonathan try to decide on one wish.

Emily visits a psychic to compile research for her book. She finds more than an interview in The Keeper of the Truth.

Tired widow Nora has a strange visit from a dog while she's At Home.

With a paranormal element and a bite of gritty reality, the stories are interesting. The characters are human, showing their humanity in different ways.
