(June) I think I read this in about 20 min, or less - it was less than 30 pages, I believe! Girl dragon is an indentured worked for bitchy boss. Girls gets turned over to Vampire. He demands one night with her. They have sex, she realizes he's her mate, they declare their love and that is that. Not sure why this was even written - but it was fine, a little piece of sexy fluff.

Quick read

I got this book on Kindle Unlimited. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is a feisty quick read. Fun 3.5 stars

From what I can see this is a standalone novella from Celia Kyle. Apart from a few exceptions she writes stories featuring "BBW" heroines. Which stands for big, beautiful woman. I would have to say rather than being a niche market this would have to reflect most real women out there. Except in this case Cilla isn't a normal women . She is a Dragon who was tricked into servitude by a Harpy. Her time serving the Harpy is almost up, so no one is more surprised than her then the Harpy passes her stolen scale and therefore her freedom to vampire Djimon.

Djimon strikes a bargain for 24 hours with her before he will give her true freedom. I like that Cilla is a dragon, it a different take on a paranormal character. She also has the fiery personality to match her second form. These two basically fall straight into bed and don't emerge at all during the rest of the book. Some talking does happen. But quite a lot of it Dirty. ;-)

This novella is short, short, short. It was pretty cheap which was good considering the length. But it was funny and sexy. The back and forth banter between Cilla and Djimon was cute. I liked the writing style and the originality of the story. This one would be a quick read during a lunch hour no problem.

This was a *very* short little read. If you've read the author before, you know that the smut level will be high and you've probably come to expect a bit of fun in the bedroom.

Constrained by the loss of her scale, this dragon shifter has been bound to a harpy for years. On one of her last days of enslavement she finds herself gifted to a sexy vampire. Somehow they end up marked as mates (I really have no idea how). The length of the story shows as much as it can, but it's obviously rushed.

Not impressed

It's a quick read...that's possibly the only good thing about it, unfortunately. No depth to the characters, and honestly there were a few times that I just wanted to smack Cilla upside the head! I read to the end simply because I really hoped it would get better-and I knew it was a short story.

This story was very short and an okay quick read. However, it was so quick that 9 days after reading it I forgot that I read it, what the plot was and whether I truly liked the main characters. Thus, 3 stars.
