Streets is the second novel of W.C. Highfield. Concerned with the persistent quandary of homelessness in America, the author takes a quirky look at how one character gradually alters his behavior in an effort to escape its clutches.
Picked this one up when I was walking around Sanibel Island. I thought supporting a local writer would be a good idea.
I couldn't finish this one. It's boring and redundant, and, after reading a little over half of it, I didn't care at all about how it would end. So I quit reading it.
