Ella is young and impressionable, and awed by Zayn, who comes back into her life like a returning hero. After one night of passion, not only has her hero fallen, but so has she. Pregnant and terrified, Ella realizes that Zayn has disappeared for the second time in her life with no explanation and no clues as to where he’s gone. But she works hard and survives, raising her son on her own.
When she sees Zayn again six years later, she is determined not to be blinded by his overwhelming presence again. She can’t trust him this time. Unfortunately, nor can she ignore the fiery passion that seems to flare up whenever Zayn comes close to her. She’s a fighter, though. And she won’t give in to that passion like she did the last time he swooped into her life. She is stronger, she can push him away. Can’t she?
Zayn can’t believe he’s finally found Ella again! An emergency took him away from her years ago and she disappeared. But this time, he won’t lose her! When he discovers that he also has a five year old son, Zayn is thrilled, eager to bring both of them back to his country.
He doesn’t understand Ella’s resistance to him. Gone is the soft, vivacious woman he remembers holding in his arms. But this Ella is even more beautiful, more lush and sensuous. And he refuses to believe that what they felt for each other the last time can’t be revived. He won’t lose her a second time! He can’t!

Elizabeth lives in Virginia with her husband and two children. Their home is just outside of Washington, D.C., and many of her novels are set in this area.
Not safe. Hero was with others after meeting heroine. Heroine was dating someone else when they meet up again 6 years later (who by the way was never mentioned again and was really just unnecessary)
-with others after meeting -no ow/om drama -lots of pushing away -no violence -NO EPILOGUE which definitely brings my rating down
i liked this story. sometime i felt as if Ella was intentionally super blonde. i loved that they had deep affection since forever and it turned into love.
Zayn was mysterious and a bit stingy with telling ella things which made her give dumb blonde responses.
also the way she handed the last seen was soooo (no words)... irritating. she couldnt open her mouth when her household was bullying her (seriously shes the queen) but once zayn finds out she cant stop with the threatening lecture. and who gives treats to people who bully you (aka coffee).
all in all ella had her good and bad points and so did zayn. but i liked the fact he never gave up hope in finding her. also there was a big question mark with her and her boss, i wanted a confrontation at least
I'm not going to do justice with a full review for this (I'm planning on doing a mini review of it and a series of other trashy cheap Kindle romances I bought). But I'll give you the basics here. Avoid at all cost. This "romance" reminded me of something you'd see in the 80's he man asshole controlling male who decides the TSTL heroine has to move to a different country to be with him giving her no choice and expecting her to run into his arms like a good little girl after he ditched her eighteen year old pregnant self six years ago. Oh, by the way, the hero and heroine first met when he was a teen and she was like eight (ten year age difference) the way they were talking it sounded like they were in love back then which just gave me the creepy vibes. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
Big Apple Brotherhood book 2. A great read full of drama, laughs and angst. This is Zayn and Ella story. Zayn is one in a trio of best friends. Zayn turns out to be a ruler of another country although he started from humble beginnings. Ella also from the same humble beginnings, is down to earth and sweet as can be. They reconnected and now enter the crazy mixed up drama filled storyline which becomes a beautiful journey of sorts back to love. Onto the next book.
I greatly enjoy Elizabeth Lennox Sheikh love stories. I liked this story of a hard working girl winning the lovable good guy sheikh and living happily ever after.
This is the second book in this series and even though I have read it before it still reads as the first time. A good story with excellent characters, romance and a little drama. Now going to read the last one.
Love this book. Couldn't put it down had to finished reading it. Amazing how much a person can love another person even when they aren't there. Especially a 8 year old little girl and then when she's 18. You just have to read it for yourself.
I read this book a while back but didn't bother to leave a review then, I am doing so now. I really loved this book and plan on reading it again in the future.
I read this book a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much I re read it today and enjoyed it just as much. The book is 1 in a 3 part series but this is my favourite from the series
Its a good story .. and writing is also not bad .. but though there are few cliche which let me feel it's sometime shallow .. like hero keeping so much mystery (donot understand his reasoning ) and bringing them to new place . so many gaps 10 yr than 6 yrs ..and also heroine resisting the situation when they got married ... (there i found her bit silly.. not even char but .. also flow of story is also bit shallow here..) But i think its overall done well .. i really like it .. specially the idea that hero donot resist love .. so many novel i read mostly hero's are dead set against love or relationship .. so that' the best part of it ..
If you like your romance sweet, simple and fairytale than go for it !:)
Sheikh Zayn was 10 years older than Ella. He disappeared when she was 8 because he was brought back to his country Tusain by his uncle. So when she was 18, an orphan working at a hotel, they met again. They had dinner and slept together. The next morning, he had to leave for emergency. She was fired because of no fraternization policy with guest, kicked out from her apartment because of three noise complaints. She stayed with her friends while giving birth to Max. 6 years later, he found her working at another hotel. Sweeped her and Max to his country and married her. She was treated poorly by all the servants because she refused to sleep with him. He found out and threatened to fire off all the servants but she wouldn’t allowed it. Both of them admitted their feelings then.

Loved! What can I say... I love Elizabeth Lennox's books. Her imagination draws you in. I get goose bumps and butterflies when I read her stories. Sometimes you need a book with emotional turmoil and tragedy but... Elizabeth Lennox's stories put me in my happy place. This story (just like her others) has just enough angst, alpha male, Strong female and of course sex to keep you into the story. Love a Sheikh book!
I really enjoyed this book.if their would have been an epilogue I would have given it 5 stars. wanted a new baby for them. a little more comic relief and the book would have been perfect. loved the angst and the girl not giving in. totally worth the bucks.
This is my last book by the author. I can't take the risk with the next book being similar. I did enjoy the book prior to this however the two books do not compare.
