Cassie and Avery were inseparable as children. Young love, promise rings and googlie eyes until Avery’s parents move out of state. That’s when Avery (at the age of 12) promises Cassie that he will come back for her and he will marry her one day. All together now…



Fast forward 7 years and HELLO COLLEGE REBELLION AND LADY PIMPIN!

Cassie is rooming with her best friend and on the first day of college she meets Carson who she believes is absolutely perfect for her. He understands her, he’s caring, thoughtful and everything you can roll into a giant rainbow that glitters love and acceptance… and the sex is amazing!

Then Avery comes back; whom by the way has an exceptionally large cock (it’s true, it’s mentioned multiple times in the book). But see Avery isn’t the same as he used to be. Sure, he loves Cassie, but he needs to follow his dreams. They war with eachother… a lot. You do see a bit of walking disaster in this book, but it works.

And then she meets Pierce and


Sex. On. A. stick.

Pierce and Avery don’t get along. At all. As a matter of fact their only common denominators are Cassie and fighting.

My first thoughts was, Cassie must have a cape hanging out of her vagina because 3 gorgeously described men are literally chasing this girl down… and not just for a taste, they want to buy the cow, and then reproduce mini cows. Lots of them.

It’s ridiculous.

I’ll be reading the second book…Ashley Beale, it was good.

I really enjoyed the concept of this book. I have read so many love triangles but this evolved 3 guys and 1 very lucky girl. I can't wait to see what happens next for this gang in the next book.

4.5 stars. First I must apologize if I offended anyone with this review as well as the author but here goes: Okay first the 4 1/2 stars are for the sexy ass hell leading male characters and they are: Carson, Pierce and Avery. Now on to the crazy shit story, of a freshman who thinks she is love with her childhood sweetie. But as soon as she gets to College, Well I'll be dayum, she must already been busy given up her goodies in high school before. First with Carson, sweetheart, beautiful man; but Cassie was (Whoish in her ways) still wanting him but also wanting another one. Now here Avery shows up, Okay I'll give her that she didn't recognize him in the beginning. But now she is feeling that she still love him. Saw him fight and lord and behold here pops Pierce. There is no attraction between these men and Cassie. This is Cassie giving it up for free to who ever says I love you, your my Angel, your Beautiful, Love you Rosie. WTF! I know when your in college you want to be wild and have some fun. But this girl was pass the fun, she was more the Great Encounter of the Fourth, Fifth and so on Kind! She was so dayum confused she had me confused. She didn't had respect for herself. But I do have to give her a little of respect at least she control herself, not to be going for more. But then again, What was going in her head? My point, I think she should stay with the fighter, but now that she is a sophomore what the hell she is going to do. I her future I see her more confused. Pierce adorable loved him, he spoke his truth; Avery as well told her how he felt, and Carson well he was so sweet. Once again I do apologize if I offended anyone. Kudos!

I liked that Cassie wasn't a regular pathetic girl but at the same time I felt no connection to her or the other characters. I felt like their relationships seemed juvenile at best and she was in love with someone new every other day. Overall, I go with meh!!

Not really sure how many stars to give this one, it's got some good reviews but I didn't love it, if anything I barely finished it which is Very unlike me I just didn't like Cassie at all she came across a spoiled slut! She admitted to basically being a one night stand girl and slept with all 3 boys pretty much in the beginning stages of the book, she went back and forth with them all and seemed to fall in love with them after a short amount of time which annoyed me! I Hated the fact there was 3 boys so it wasn't a love triangle it was a square ha so confusing, in my opinion Cassie doesn't deserve any of them I am torn between Avery and pierce though I think I'm swaying more for Avery as they are childhood sweethearts in a way, There was bits in this book I liked though loved Aubrey and Cassie's friendship and the partying there were some funny scenes, but I think the fact I cant stand love triangles and Cassie irritated me so Much that's one of the reasons I didn't love it that being said I will still read the next one as this was left on a cliffhanger :)

Wow!!! I loved this book and Pierce was the cherryon top of the Iicing on the cake flavored sundae. I do hope they end up together, Avery is annoying and stupid. If he wanted her why not tell her from the beginning! Or idk maybe keep in touch, something! But, Pierce was just yummy and honest and needs to marry Cassie. If Avery loved her, he would've fought for her and not be selfish. I do feel sorry for Carter because he was a sweetheart but he moved on to fast. I just don't see that deep needing raw attraction that Cassie and Pierce have. I cannot wait til the next book, please don't keep me waiting!! And this was a kick ass debut. They're not many who catch my attention but this book sure did.

Holy sh*t!!! This book was off the charts amazing! You have pierce who seems to be a cocky Lil shit but ends up being caring and heart felt and all kinds of romantic loving. Then, there is Avery(which I completely am in love with the name), who has been there since forever and is amazing all the way around, except for his mouthy slip ups! Cassie, I wanted to smack her a few times but hello, she was having sex with 3 diff sexy dudes. Some ppl may grown upon that but it's totally hot!!! I also loved how her and Aubrey are so close!! I have NO idea if IM team Avery or team pierce! This book is def worth more then 5 starts, but beings that's the highest rating I guess it will have to do! Amazing job Ashley! Completely kickass!!!! :)

Holy Shit! Fan-freaken-tastic. Burning Attraction had my heart beating every single minute. I was consistently torn in three directions routing for each of the swoon worthy men only to feel just as confused as Cass. Each and every character will steal your heart, make you laugh, make you want to reach into the pages and shake them but must of all they'll earn a place in your heart. Ashley did a fantastic job creating a story that won't disappoint. The story does end with a cliff hanger and for those thinking they will wait for book two before you read Burning Attraction I say throw caution to the wind; this book is to amazing to not be devoured!

I have really enjoyed reading about Cassie, her best friend Aubrey, and her amazing friends--Carson, Pierce and Avery. I must say, Cassie is one lucky lady with a very strong heart. I actually found myself pulling for the guys as Cassie tugs away at their hearts.

This was a really good story that does end in a cliffhanger but I can't wait to see what happens next. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for steamy romance, lots of partying and fun, and an overall good story line.

Absolutely loved it!! It's a book like no other. Cassie is living every woman's fantasy. Every hot guy she encounters is falling for her, the only issue is she is falling too. Will she ever be able to decide between the guy who's always had her heart and the guy who she just can't get enough of? Unbridled passion, uninhibited lust, and unwavering love....a love triangle that has everyone choosing sides. Will you be Team Pierce or Team Avery? An absolute must read!! Well done Ashley Beale.

Whew….what a hot bunch of men!! This triad of hotness was quite interesting to sink my teeth into. Avery…..well, what’s a girl to do? She is so confused and can’t seem to make the ‘right choice’ to save her life! Yet, despite all of the turmoil revolving around the characters, you will want to find out what Cassie does next.

Pros
- Avery and Pierce's rivalry and underground fighting. Those were definitely the most intense moments for me.
- Pacing was good. Never a dull moment.
- Liked how she wasn't a virgin and willing to explore her sexuality.
- Not a bad exploration of young love and college life for young readers. Not bad for a first book either.

Cons
- Lots of alcohol and how her drinking creates drama. I'm hoping she realizes the dangers of how much alcohol she consumes and her safety. Sort of why I like how Pierce because he doesn't let her drink too much or watches over.
- Lack of description and imagery. I've lived in California all my life, and I was just in San Diego last summer. This book is only in San Diego by name, I would have preferred expansion on the setting and surroundings. Also, character description beyond eyes and hair color. For example, describe the jawline, lips, or the scars I'm sure they have.
- Some typos such as "suite" instead of "suit" and "Peirce" instead of "Pierce."

Overall this was a decent read. The storyline wasn't unbelievable, but Cassie was just to WISHY-WASHY!!

She was declaring her love for every male she encountered and then she was still unsure. I was willing to give this book 4 stars but the ending was just more annoying.

Beyond her and her issues the male leads Carter, Avery and Pierce were great. I really felt sorry for Carter he was so sweet. Avery was as annoying as Cassie was but since he was sexy he gets a pass...LOL!!! Pierce was grown man sexy and in my opinion to good for her.

So to sum it up, this was bad and it wasn't great. Will I read the next book probably, but if I don't I wont miss it.

wow! Ashley Beale did an amazing job.. this book is definitly what I desire to read, there was drama, intensity, passion, heartbreak, anger, and love. First off, the boys are smoking I honestly couldnt decide who i liked better. I definitly lean towards Avery just because of the childhood thing but I love the intensity and passion with Pierce. I was unsure if i wanted to read this book because there wasnt many readers or reviews but EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ THIS BOOK! it is a lot better than some of the books that are the most popular.

I didn't like Cassie at all, kept hoping it would get better but didn't. Stuck with it to see which of her many men she would finally choose only to have it end in one hell of a cliffhanger. I'm done.

Okay the beginning of this book was super cute then it went down hill.... This love triangle is really awkward.... Cassie just met Carson and they love each other already? Cassie is very cocky... It's just bad to be honest... I had to stop on Chapter 8: Dirty Little Secret...

The book had potential. The writing could be better.
