Quick, cute, romantic story. Even though I'm not a fan of cutesy love books, this one was great!
I also loved reading about other countries and their touristic spots, their culture, oh I wish I could go to Europe <3 !!
But (I always have a but, ugh), the characters felt a little too perfect for each other, IMO. And that's not real, unfortunately. Also, the ending! As amazing as it was, left me wondering was happened with her mom, her ex and her friend.

I received an early copy of Anywhere for review from J Meyers herself.

Yep.

I, Lauren, who specifically has stated on their review policy that I do not do romance books, who hates romance books and pretty much always passes them up, emailed J Meyers and requested a copy of her latest book - a contemporary romance.

Makes complete sense huh?

In my defence I enjoyed all her other books so much I couldn't resist the chance to read more of her work and to see how it would come across in a different genre and well I didn't expect to be sat here two days later writing up a five star review heh (sorry Jen)!

The last book I sped through this quickly was Warm Bodies which is, well, my usual cup of tea.

Anywhere is the completely adorable story of Skye as she runs away from her real life duties to do something she has only dreamed off - very thoroughly across many journals - travel Europe, with her best friend Paige.

But of course, no quickly planned journey goes without a few a bumps. The first being an actual soon-to-be-bump across Paige's belly, causing Paige to abandon ship and leaving Skye in France to travel alone.

Honestly, I could not do something like that. I get scared taking the bus to town in case I miss my stop or get lost. But Skye is clearly not me and that's a good thing.

Whilst choosing where to go next she meets Asher, the two travel together to Rome and on the way they strike up a lovely friendship. Yes guys, a friendship! We don't have an insta-love issue going down here, I think that's why I loved it so much because their friendship grows constantly over the story and you get to witness as their feelings intensify.

Side note: The time the two spent in Rome made me so nostalgic for my time there with my boyfriend and I just loved experiencing it all again with Skye.

I mean sure they both feel something romantic towards each other early on but they push it away and don't really confront until they're absolutely sure its the right choice and they're ready.

It filled me with gushy lovey feelings which made it impossible to put the book down, my sleep schedule was messed up thanks to this!

I also really liked how there was an issue for both of them that made it difficult to commit straight away because (well it helped get rid of the dreaded insta-love but also) it added to the story so there was a lot more going on, rather than just *insert preconceived thoughts about bad romances and lack of a story line that you may have*.

Seeing as though I didn't really know what I was getting into with this genre I think that made it even more enjoyable because I had no idea what to expect, and well if I can sit here and honestly say that Anywhere has been one of my favourite reads of 2013.

Jen, I really look forward to what else you have in store for us, especially if its a contemporary romance.

Well, I guess I like romances now?

Yikes, I'm actually considering that I liked this more than the Intangible series o_O Help! What has she done to me? Where's Lauren gone?

I was really lucky to get an ARC of "Anywhere" after two friends who are friends with the author demanded I read it. I looked at the description and knew it was going to be my kind of book.

Sometimes when I finish I book I'll think to myself, "If this was a movie starring Mandy Moore and Matthew Goode, would I watch it?" If the answer is "Yes!", then it usually gets 5 stars. That's just how I roll.

I love a lot about this new New Adult subsection of fiction. Not just because of swoony romances in European cities, which, let's be honest, is my favorite kind of literature (oh hello "One More Year" can I have you yet?!). But also because of the honesty and reality they bring. You can talk about teenagers falling in love and how cute it is, but there's something different about the love story when it's two people out of college, trying to find their way in the real world. I appreciate the realness of that. Also, I can deal with them having sex (always in a safe manner in NA books, which is super awesome), whereas it skeeves me out when it's a teen couple.

OK, so this book. SWOON...OBVI. I mean, look at the cover...it screams swoon. Skye isn't annoying, instead she seems like a normal person. Asher is obviously a dreamboat, but in a tangible way. The writing is totally talky-talk, which is my favorite kind of writing. There are sexy parts, but honest sexy parts, instead of icky 50 Shades sexy parts. I liked how Skye would speak to the reader, like you're reading her journal, or she's telling this story to a friend years down the road. I enjoyed the mom/daughter relationship, which I think a lot of women/girls can relate to. You really root for Skye to be her own person and to make it on her own.

At first, when I saw that it was barely over 150 pages, I thought why even bother? But as I got into the story, I appreciated that it was a quick read, not bogged down by annoying subplots or out of place asides. I know that's a weird thing to note, but I did. It being short also lent itself to being read over the course of a day at home.

Anyway, if you like swooning, European adventures, and tacky souvenirs from said European adventures, this is the book for you. It was certainly the book for me.

To me, there is nothing better than to finish a book and feel so overwhelmingly satisfied that you grin like a fool for hours afterwards, and this is exactly how Anywhere made me feel! Being a huge fan of J. Meyers' YA paranormal series, Intangible, I jumped at the chance to read Anywhere when given the opportunity. Anywhere is J's first New Adult contemporary novel, and she absolutely nailed her debut! I LOVE this book so much!

Skye is the protagonist of this novel and she's funny, relatable and honest. I enjoyed experiencing everything through her perspective, especially since her journey takes place in Europe! The book opens with Skye just beginning her big backpacking trip through Europe. Her trip may seem like she's running away from her problems back in America, but really this is an important journey of self-discovery and learning what she really needs and wants out of life--this is something that will really resonate with the reader, in my opinion. After a rocky start she has a chance encounter with Asher at a train station in France, and everything falls into place from here.

Asher is so swoon-worthy that I almost literally felt my heart melting. He's so sweet, genuine and just plain sexy! Like Skye, he's also backpacking through Europe, but he has his own reasons for taking this trip. The more I learned about him the more I was rooting for him and Skye. I really enjoyed how their relationship progressed; their chemistry is so natural and easy that it's difficult not to completely lose yourself in their combined charm. Also, let me just mention that the steamy encounters between these two may very well set you on fire, so be ready to be dazzled and have something at the ready you can use to fan yourself! Shout out to J for expertly executing those HOT scenes!!

As I mentioned before, the fact that this book takes place in Europe is a huge reason to love this story even more! J. Meyers is so descriptive and paints a very alluring picture of several of the countries visited by Skye and Asher. It makes me want to plan my own trip to Europe so I can experience these places myself! But, aside from the beautifully described scenery and passionate connection between Skye and Asher, I also love the fact that this story is so fun and feels so real. It's personal and touching on so many levels. Go read this book NOW! You won't regret it!

*Very special thanks go to J. Meyers for providing me with a copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed the freshness of this book. I will say the beginning is a little scattered. I think if I would have known why these two girls took off and the back story before they were in another country it would have jelled. Sounds like I am complaining right? Well no I liked it. It just shows I have a small little thorn in my butt that is all. I enjoyed how the author wrote a character who is strong, albeit a little late or cutting it close to being late, she went with her heart. Taking off for an escape was a great adventure, while it lasted.

The main character Skye, like I said she had a change of heart and for that I am thankful. She has Paige who is her best friend. They really enjoy spreading their wings and learning what it is like to be free. Sadly, Sky is left with her dilemma and mentally takes makes a checklist of things s
he wants to do and see.

There is a moral to the story. I think it has a few great messages. The first big one for me was "IT is ok to walk away". I am glad Skye grew her wings and had the chance to meet Asher. He had a story, and before you ask he has a moral to his story too. I wont give away one of his reveals, but it shows you life is too short. Together they sort of make up their itinerary with some new friends after a chance meeting on a train.

The story really took off for me about 35-40% and I finished it right away. It was one of those "oh my, I need to finish this now" sort of moments. In the end things were wrapped up. AHHHH no cliff hanger, no unresolved issues, no catastrophe in book 2. How refreshing is that?

I'm really glad I stumbled upon this book on Goodreads, because it was such a good surprise.

The story is incredibly sweet, and it's not possible to not relate with Skye, because everyone has doubts, and expectations to fulfill, specially after college.

It all starts with Skye and Paige traveling around Europe, and their first stop is Paris, but things aren't going exaclty how they planned, and after some big surprise, Paige returns to the US, while Skye decides to stay and do this whole travel thing alone.
Well she soon finds that's not as easy as she thought, but then at the train station she meets the adorable Asher, who's traveling alone too, and they start their plan B together.

Let me just stay, that I finished this book in just a few hours, because I felt so connected with the characters, that I just HAD to know what would happen next... and it did not disappoint. The whole relationship was built slowly, what made it even more realistic, and I completely adored this contemporary romance.

The places where they visited were so detailed, that it actually felt like you could seem them. This author sure can write.

At the ending I was freaking out with Skye, because that cellphone message was one of the sweetest scenes I've read.

This book is a must read for everyone who wants a light love story, that will leave you completely in love.

Appealing, New Adult Romance
Format: Kindle Edition
Source: Purchase

Skye is a 22-year-old recent college graduate who has been involved for the past two years with a young man her own age, Blaine, who is from a wealthy, New York City family. A year ago, she became engaged to Blaine, whom her mother adores, not because she had any desire to marry so young, but because Blaine put her on the spot by dramatically and publicly proposing to her at a family barbecue in front of his entire extended family. Skye accepted because she didn't want to embarrass him or disappoint her mother, and from then on, Blaine and her mother, who is even more of a control freak than Blaine, have been planning out Skye's entire future, utterly taking over her whole life. Finally, mere days before her wedding, Skye's pain at the relentless, smothering pressure from her mother and her fiancé exceeds enough the discomfort she feels at standing up for herself against them to provide her with the courage to break off her unwanted engagement. Well aware of her extremely low resistance to the inevitable emotional battering Blaine and her mother will launch against her to shove her back in line, she flees to France with her best friend, Paige, to remove herself from their toxic influence.

Skye is determined to establish her own identity and independence by fulfilling a longtime dream--which Blaine has patronizingly insisted she couldn't possibly truly want--spending the summer backpacking around Europe. Unfortunately, soon after they arrive in Paris, Paige discovers she is pregnant and states she must return home to make plans with her boyfriend. Skye agonizes over the dilemma of choosing to return with Paige and support her in her hour of crisis or staying behind to avoid an avalanche of dual pressure from her mother and Blaine to go through with the wedding. Luckily Skye has done well in choosing an accepting friend like Paige, who insists that Skye stay in Europe and continue with her travel plans. Little does Skye realize that within 24 hours of deciding to attempt traveling alone, she will meet Asher in the Paris train station, a young American about her own age who is on a mission of self-discovery as well.

As a long-time romance-fiction fan, I'm on a roll with my reading experiences this week. This is my second New Adult (NA), contemporary romance novel in a row with a metrosexual, Beta, romantic hero with nary a tattoo or piercing in sight. There is no mention of "rock hard abs," and no glorification of alpha-male promiscuity as a sign of the NA hero's social superiority. Asher is unabashedly portrayed as sensitive, compassionate, intelligent, and basically the complete opposite of Blaine and Mommy Dearest. In most NA romances, the alpha, macho, male romantic lead is, as such, inevitably, the complete opposite in personality to the heroine, or very close to it. In a very refreshing change to that increasingly hackneyed trope (which, let's face it, is a frequent occurrence in many "by the numbers," adult romance novels as well), Asher and Skye are quite similar in temperament. They are both sensitive souls who are very caring and compassionate, but who have had the unfortunate tendency in their love lives to be glommed onto by narcissistic control freaks--a reality all too common in the real world. Nice people far too infrequently end up with other nice people. It is therefore a delightful case of wish fulfillment to see two such sympathetic, decent individuals find each other rather than one of the romantic protagonists (usually the heroine) becoming obsessed with a domineering "bad boy" NA protagonist who, until meeting the heroine, has basically been a callous, uncaring narcissist in his one-night-stand relationships with girls and women. In this regard, the author does a truly excellent job of showing how inconsiderate, selfish, emotional vampires like Skye's mother and fiancé--and Asher's ex-girlfriend--have zero hesitation about walking all over people with a heart, conscience and compassion, but at the least whiff of opposition to their entirely self-centered goals for said kind people, hurl onto their supposed loved one a barrage of vituperative guilt-tripping. It is a case of a conscienceless, dishonorable person manipulating and controlling by appealing to the conscience of the honorable, something we witness Skye's mother doing incessantly throughout the story.

I particularly like romance plots such as this one where the Chief Virtue of the romantic protagonists is also their Chief Flaw. In this case, it is a strongly intertwined sense of loyalty and compassion, which creates a powerful desire to avoid hurting people they deeply care about and are loyal to. This particular Virtue/Flaw is very hard to pull off successfully in popular fiction, which demands a strong, active protagonist, because a personality like this can too easily come off in a story as a passive doormat. However, since the inciting incident of this story is Skye taking strong, assertive action in traveling to Europe, and the chief Antagonist for Skye is her mother, this story very much avoids the passive-doormat issue. In particular, every girl and woman who might read this book can relate to how primordial the mother-daughter relationship is, and given that Skye is still quite young, it is understandable and relatable that she could just now be breaking free of her mother's oppressive domination.

In short, this is an excellent story of "coming of age" as well as a romance.

The setting of this novel is also new and exciting for a NA romance. Rather than the usual university setting, we get to experience with Skye various fascinating locations throughout Europe. Anyone who has traveled in Europe or has wished to do so will enjoy the lively interplay of setting and story in this enjoyable novel.

I rate this book as follows:
Heroine: 4 stars
Hero: 4 stars
Subcharacters: 4 stars
Romance Plot: 4 stars
Coming of Age Plot: 4 stars
Setting: 5 stars
Writing: 4 stars
Overall: 4 stars

The following review is my honest opinion and not a paid review.

I don't read a lot of Romance books without a paranormal creature in it and wasn't sure I wanted to read Anywhere but when J asked me if I would review it I couldn't say no as I have read all of the books in the Intangible series and really loved them. I am so glad that J asked me to review Anywhere because I fell in love with it right from the very beginning. I touched base with Skye on so many levels that it was unbelievable. Her whole life Skye was always trying to get people to like her especially her mother by doing what she thought they wanted her to do. She tried to be what each person in her life wanted her to be so that they would like her. Skye's mother was always blaming her for things that were not her fault. She was always saying to her things like why are you doing this to me? After all I went through caring you for nine months. Why would any mother ever say that to their child? Why would any mother want to hurt their child like that? It's not like Skye ask to be brought into this world.

When Skye's boyfriend asks her to marry him she didn't want to get married but she said yes to him because that was what her mother and everyone else wanted her to do. All through college Skye planned to travel through Europe for a few months but her mother and boyfriend set a date and started making plans for them to get married after graduation. And Skye went along with it because that is what she had done her whole life. But she decided that she couldn't go through with it so before it was too late a week before the wedding Skye packed her bags went to see her boyfriend and told him she couldn't marry him and left with her best friend Paige and hopped on a plane for Europe. But upon arriving in Paris; Paige had to bail out early on Skye.

While in Paris all alone she meets a real nice guy Asher whom she starts to care about a lot. Skye is not looking for a boyfriend or to fall in love she just left a boyfriend back home and skipped out on their wedding. She is not looking for a relationship all she wants is to travel around Europe and find out who Skye is. She is tired of trying to please everyone else when they don't even know it. It doesn't matter what she does it is not right if it was not her mother's or her boyfriend's idea. She has figured out that she is never going to be happy if she doesn't stop trying to please everyone else and not herself. Skye is not a bad person and has always had a very kind and loving heart but man your heart can only take so much before it is ready to blow up.

Asher was such a nice and loving person as well. He let Skye be who she is and didn't try to make her into something else someone that he wanted her to be. He loved her for who she was and not for whom he wanted her to be. Asher could look into her eyes and see into her heart and he knew that she was a beautiful person inside. Asher took the time to listen to Skye when she talked. Everybody needs a pat on the back every now and again. They need to hear that they are doing well no matter what it is. They need to hear those three little words once in a while. Everyone needs to hear "I love you". If you never hear those words it doesn't matter what the person does it is not enough.

Anywhere really hit home with me and I am still thinking about it. I don't think that I will ever forget about Skye and Asher or about J's book Anywhere. It will always be at the back of my mine. J did a remarkable job in writing Anywhere I don't have the words to describe how great a book Anywhere is. I relate so much with Skye it is like J somehow got into my head and my heart and found Skye there. Thanks J for writing such a wonderful book. Anywhere is the best NA Romance book without a paranormal creature that I have ever read in my entire life. I don't think I will ever find another romance book to top it. If you like NA or Romance books of any genre even if you don't you will still fall in love with Anywhere I don't see how anyone could not love it. So I highly recommend it to anyone that is up for a challenge.

Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

I absolutely loved J. Meyers' other books Intangible and Imaginable, so when I heard about Anywhere - which is a completely different genre to the Intangible series - I was really excited to dive in! Anywhere follows Skye as she embarks on her travels across Europe. When her plans with best friend Paige end up falling through, she finds herself in the company of the oh-so-lovely Asher.

It is so rare that I read a book with a constant smile on my face, but that is what happened with Anywhere. Like I'm writing this review straight away after finishing the book and I still have this ridiculous grin on my face. I adored this book. Completely and utterly adored it.

Firstly, I love a good road trip novel. Anything that involves travelling has me interested, and Skye's travels in Anywhere made for the most beautiful backdrop to her story. Along the way she visits, Paris, Rome, Venice, Bern and so many more gorgeous places. It was the perfect bit of escapism! The writing had me itching to be in Skye's place and be the one visiting all these incredible cities, because the descriptions of the places were so exciting! I read large parts of this book on my train journey to and from the beach, which was probably one of the most perfect places to read it.

The plot in Anywhere follows Skye and Asher, who meet at a train station in Paris and suddenly wind up heading off together to Rome. Skye's best friend has disappeared back home after some life-changing news, but Skye knows she needs to stay and finish her travels, as it's something she's so longed to do. I adored the way Skye had to spread her wings and find some independence. You could really feel that as a theme throughout the book. She's just narrowly escaped being tied down to a man she doesn't really love, and so the freedom to explore the world on her own terms is exactly what she needs.

And now we have to talk about the chemistry between Skye and Asher, which was just incredible! They hit it off straight away, but it never felt rushed or forced. The relationship between them just felt so natural and they fit together perfectly. They have the same sense of humour and the same outlook on life and thirst for exploration. As the relationship develops you get some pretty steamy scenes, but unlike other NA novels I've read, they never felt overdone or tacky. The tone was spot on, and I just swooned throughout the whole thing. I love Asher, okay? Can I have him?

I thought the two of them were wonderful characters, and I loved their individual back stories and how you get to learn more about them as the story went on. I think the relationship between Skye and her brother Julian was one of my favourite parts, and I particularly loved their text conversations. In fact, the use of text conversations between both Julian and Skye, and Skye and Paige really added a little something to the story. They were so fun. I thought the phone calls between Skye and her mother were a nice touch, too, even if their relationship is somewhat strained!

I devoured Anywhere in the space of a day, and it's a perfect summery read that will sweep you away. I got so carried away in Skye and Asher's story and their wonderful adventures that I just didn't want the book to end. And the ending - well, that had me practically jumping up and down! I really hope Meyers writes more books in this genre, because her writing is phenomenal and Anywhere just reinforced that for me. Now excuse me whilst I got and plan my travels around Europe and dream of finding my own Asher...

Okay, so I've totally been this girl. Not the runaway bride part, but the girl in the exact same train station in Paris where not a lick of English is anywhere, all by her lonesome, trying to figure out what the hell to do next. It's weird, it's uncomfortable, but it's also a rush. However, I would've been a hell of a lot more suspicious of a sexy guy trying to talk to me. And if he asked me where I was going, only to follow it up with, "Me too," little red flags would've been popping up all over the place! Hey, I've seen Taken! And I had way to many single guys coming up to me on my trip that I made it my number one rule to always be where others were and never by myself. But hey, that's real life and this is a book, so of course Skye is going to be relieved to have someone to talk to on the train. :)

 photo One-Tree-Hill-one-tree-hill-1023630_zpsa7cc261e.gif

So Skye has just bailed on her fiancé several days before the wedding, fleeing to Paris with her best friend to spend several months backpacking across Europe. Couldn't blame her really. She spent her entire life being told what to do by her overbearing mother, that she just couldn't marry a guy that had already began treating her the exact same way. The guy had their entire life planned out, including a place in the city (which she vocally said she didn't want) to the number of kids they'll have and when. Hello Stepford Wife. I'd get the hell out too. Unfortunately, Skye's best friend has her own dilemma that sends her packing for home, leaving Skye all alone to begin her journey. On the very first day, she meets Asher, an American guy that's also lost his backpacking buddy, heading in the same direction Skye is. Figuring it's just company on the train, Skye opens up to this sweet stranger and immediately feels the relief of having someone alongside her that allows her to actually be. Asher is the sweetest guy, letting her vent, cry and and letting her make some decisions without telling her how very wrong she is, which poor Skye has spent a lifetime without. The two become inseparable as they journey city to city, country to country, living on a whim. The more time passes, the more they both realize they're meant to be. But with Skye needing to go home soon and Asher already committed to returning to an ex-girlfriend, will these two ever admit what their hearts have already declared?

 photo Iloveyou32_zpscd7f7924.gif

This was such a sweet story. Seriously. I whipped through it in one sitting, practically salivating over Asher. Where was he when I found myself in Skye's position, huh? Asher was everything Skye needed to become her own person, and I loved watching her grow stronger and more confidant throughout the novel. Pick it up peeps, it'll have you going aww.... when you turn the last page.

...and I'd love to see some bonus material for the very special day that I don't wanna mention here. Hint hint! That would be a great scene seeing if and how Skye handles herself.

So, Anywhere is a new adult novel about a 22ish woman who is trying to discover who she really is. For her entire life, she has been trying to make everyone else happy, at the expense of her own happiness, and now really has no idea who she is.

She just graduated college, and decided to fulfill her dream of backpacking across Europe with her BFF. Only problem is, as soon as they get there they find out that her friend is pregnant, and has to go home.
So that leaves Skye with a choice- go home too and cancel her dreams, or stay and try to trek through the unknown territory alone.
Thankfully, she immediately meets the sweetness that is Asher and they decide to travel together... and of course fall in love. lol

Pros: Super sweet contemporary romance. I liked Asher a lot. I liked reading about the different countries they traveled to. And overall the book was nice and pretty swoon worthy.

Cons: my cons were really only in the beginning, because soon after reading I got so into the story I didn’t care if there was anything wrong with it. haha I totally enjoyed watching (and feeling) them fall for each other!

Unwed/unplanned pregnancy is an issue with me. Especially when the couple has only been dating for a short time. It’s something that I’ve experienced myself, and Paige's reaction to it did not feel real at all. I know the story is NOT about Paige, she is just the friend... but I felt like that whole scene was totally fake. Also, I kinda felt that Skye was super selfish for not staying with her. I mean, holy crap, her BEST friend just got pregnant, her entire life is changing, and Skye thought about it for all of 10 minutes before deciding she would not go home with her… (I might be slightly exaggerating- but like I said… this is kind of a pet peeve for me.) Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that Skye should have gone home with her, it was actually her first step in doing what SHE wanted instead of what someone else wanted, and that’s good. I just wanted to see a little more thought or consideration go into the decision.

Also, at first I thought this was gonna be insta-love… and I got super scared and kinda rolled my eyes a few times, but I was *thankfully* wrong!!

My only other issue was… I wanted more. Haha. The good part, the happy part, the part we all wait for, was so short… lol But, I’m also super in favor of epilogues. Haha.

Overall, I’m so thankful for J Meyers for providing me with an eARC in exchange for an honest review, and I’m glad I read it! It was exactly what I needed, a sweet, super quick (I read it in about 3 hours) romance. I really enjoy reading all of J Meyers books!!

Things you should know-

Language 4/5: Lost of curse words, even the Fbomb. Its not on every page, and its not vulgar, but its there. It felt like talking to an everyday early 20something… so it didn’t bother me, but may bother some.

Sex 4/5: Innuendos, Euphemisms and fade-to-black scenes make up the sex in this book. Its not detailed, but definitely there. Safe sex is advocated. Also- unwed pregnancy is addressed, if only at the beginning.

Substance Abuses: Some wine and some beer are consumed by adults who are of age. No drugs of any kind. No smoking of any kind.

No violence.

Romance with a view!

If I had to sum up this wonderful story into a few short words, those are the ones I would choose. The romance and scenery inside this novel are mirrors of each other's beauty. Both are stunning, memorable, and enchanting.

This is my favorite romance novel I have read this year and it definitely stands out when compared to others. The romance here is not the hot and heavy, raunchy, intense stuff that seems to be popular right now. It's even better than all that. It's sensual in a much more romantic fashion. It's deep, and gentle, and feels oh so real. Watching Asher and Skye fall deeper and deeper with every smile and passing glance was stunning and wonderful.

It was a light read in the sense that it took me less than a day to read. That's for two reasons really though. One being that it isn't very long, but not too short either. The second being that I just had to keep going back for more. At every spare moment I had I was picking this up and jumping back into their pools of love surrounded by their picturesque environments. On the other hand though I would say it's not so light of a read at all. It will make your heart heavy, it will make your heart swell, it will make your heart pound and break. Meyers has nailed romance, she has brought it to new heights, bringing back classic love stories with this wonderful story.

The emotional jumps are another thing that made this such a fantastic read. There's a lot going on behind the scenes in their love story. Things that will have your heart soaring and plummeting alternately. Personally, I found myself laughing as well as crying amongst the pages.

This is the romantic read of the year. I enjoyed every single minute of it and I know you will too. It is an Adult story not YA, as there are mature scenes, so keep that in mind. The mature scences were so tasteful, and erotic without having to be all crazy about the details. So pick up this story and enjoy a love story you won't soon forget.

I've been reading J.Meyers books for her for a little while now and I have to say that this is the best one yet. Congratulations to Meyers on taking on adult romance and knocking it out of the park!

I like to break up my paranormal/sci-fi reading regime with good contemporary fiction. I started Anywhere knowing that I like J. Meyers' writing (having enjoyed her Imaginable series), and expecting a good read with lots of emotion. I had no idea I'd fall so head-over-heels in love with this book!

I love the premise of Skye being a runaway bride. She didn't leave her groom at the altar, but did leave the country a mere week before the wedding. I think that takes a lot of courage and self-awareness and I liked Skye all the more for her somewhat scandalous past. The last thing Skye expects or wants for her three months in Europe is to meet someone else, but when she meets Asher, there's no denying that there's definitely some chemistry between them.

There's nothing better than a good, well-written, emotional love story, and Meyers really delivers with Anywhere. The plot was fresh and had some great surprises. I loved the ending---which I did not see coming, and that the ending was slightly open. I like to be able to fill in some of the blanks regarding the happily ever after.

I love that the love stories in New Adult fiction have a more permanent feel to them, since the characters are 18 and over (in this case, 22 and 23). It's entirely plausible to think that characters who fall in love in their early twenties could stay together if not forever, at least for a good long while. I like feeling like the characters I come to love in a story get to stay together and be happy for a long time. That's sappy and emotional of me, but true.

I loved everything about Anywhere. The characters were well-developed and did not fall into the cliched norms for this type of story, and the story was heartfelt and full of (tasteful) passion. Anywhere is a stand-alone novel, so there is plenty of closure. I finished this book with a smile, and can't wait to read more from J. Meyers!

I had an opportunity to get my hands on this book as a beta reader. It was even better than I expected!

Specifics:
For the genre, this book offered everything that you want. Good believable premise, cute locale, great characters, and opportunity for growth of the main characters.

Things I LOVED about this book:
- Skye- Loved her. You could see how she really wanted to be her own person, but was hampered by her own internal monologue – worried about what other people thinking, saying, doing. No spoiler alert, but I am glad that she made the decisions she did, and that she wasn’t afraid to show her emotion, even when it wasn’t positive.
- Paige – Love the fire cracker, fly with the wind personality. I wish we got to know her even more!
- Mom - What a great voice. She was a total shrew, and I loved hating her. She was a great addition, and the calls with her mom were so painful! Painfully brilliant. I especially liked that in the end she wasn't one dimensional.
- ASHER – Seriously I never ever fall for book boys, really. I mean you enjoy the book, but I’m telling you I LOVED Asher. I loved his vulnerability, his powerful laugh, his quests, his quick wit, his patience, his love of chocolate and pretzels. He was the best book boy possibly ever. I absolutely loved him, and he definitely made the book for me.
- The settings – I loved that it took place in Europe, I loved the freedom and transience about it, the fact that it gave opportunities for growth and development of the characters and the story. It was well researched, a great backdrop, but also influenced the story in JUST the right amount.

Thoroughly enjoyable book - I absolutely loved it!

This book was kind of a let down :(

The description tells us it's about a girl who ends up on a solo trip to Europe.....but meets a guy about 5 seconds in. The storyline made me think of - you know when you see those split screens between expectation vs reality? The whole book was the expectation side, at least in terms of the romance/interaction between Skye and Asher. Not that people can't fall in love quite quickly, it's just that everything Asher said or did was Perfect - the kind of perfect girls dream about. Which made it feels like I was reading about someone's daydream (but not in a good way).

I love a good romance, but I need a dose of reality so I can believe in it too. It just wasn't there in this book.

The other day I was sitting in a coffee shop. Normally, I do more than just sit. I write. I read. I close my eyes and imagine that I have perfect children. But the other day…I was just sitting. While I sat I took in the people around me. A woman in the corner, rushing and stumbling around like one misused second could send her entire day careening off of a cliff. On the other side of the shop, a man, newspaper in hand, eyes closed. Like he would rather take in the sounds of the day than read about life’s latest crimes against humanity. But none of these held my interest. They were just everyday people, doing everyday things. Then a teenage girl walked in. Dressed head to toe in all black I thought I was witnessing the reincarnation of myself, 15 years earlier, stopping by to order my daily allowance of caffeine and unjustifiable angst. But then something happened. I looked closer. And what I saw wasn’t angst, it was sadness. This girl was radiating pain. And the more I watched her the heavier I felt. I knew nothing about this girl, her name, her age, what was making her so miserable, but as a mother I felt this overwhelming urge to hug her. Instead of assaulting her with unwanted physical affection (lord only knows how she would have reacted to some crazy lady swooping in on her in a sneak attack) I did the only other thing I could think of. I wrote this quote down (thank the heavens there were a million people in line because I think it’s the longest quote on the planet) and slipped it under her cup before she had a chance to retrieve it from the barista.

“Life is painful and messed up. It gets complicated at the worst of times, and sometimes you have no idea where to go or what to do. Lots of times people just let themselves get lost, dropping into a wide open, huge abyss. But that’s why we have to keep trying. We have to push through all that hurts us, work past all our memories that are haunting us. Sometimes the things that hurt us are the things that make us strongest. A life without experience, in my opinion, is no life at all. And that’s why I tell everyone that, even when it hurts, never stop yourself from living.” – Alysha Speer

Now, I wish I could tell you that she took one look at that paper, read it and smiled. I wish I could confirm that I made a difference in her life (or at the very least her perception.) But the truth is, she took that piece of paper, shoved it in her pocket and left the shop. I haven’t seen her since, but I HAVE thought about that quote again. The other day when I read J. Meyers New Adult novel “Anywhere” and realized that anything, and everything that I could ever say would NEVER (despite my attempt) encompass the complexity of this book quite like this quote could. So I want you to read IT again…and THEN read my inconsequential take on what I believe to be one of the most genuine New Adult novels on the market to date.

Skye Whitcomb is running from her troubles, and where better to run than Europe? Fresh out of college, she makes quick plans with her best friend Paige and hops on a plane.
Of course, nothing ever goes as planned—at least not for her. First, Paige has to bail, and Skye’s left to travel alone. Then she meets sweet and sexy Asher Benedict in Paris, and sparks fly after a night together on the train to Rome. He’s all kinds of perfect for her, but the timing couldn’t be worse since she was running from the altar when she left—so the last thing she wants right now is a relationship.

But Skye’s about to discover that no matter how far you run, love can find you anywhere.

I’m not gonna lie, I LOVE N/A. There is just something about it that gets my blood pumping. But like most love-worthy things (ie: chocolate, coffee, life-size fruit punch gummy bears) there can indeed be too much of a good thing. I’m not sure if you have noticed, but N/A has a bit of a theme (despite a few authors (worthy) attempts to stick it to the genre) that theme is pain and suffering. Now, I’m not talking about having a crappy Monday, or having to learn the fine art of crutch walking. I’m talking soul dampening rape, abuse, kidnapping type pain. The truth is…grit makes for fantastic literature. Unfortunately, after a while, the stories start to sound the same. The protagonists embody the same characteristics, and (intentional or not) dialogue feels familiar. Up until this point (the point in which I read “Anywhere”) I followed a strict regimen when it came to READING N/A for this very reason. Never read them back to back, and ALWAYS read them expecting to be inundated with graphic sexual exploitation. This was not the case with this novel.

“Anywhere” came from a different place. It wasn’t necessarily about love, loss and the plethora of emotions in between. (Though those are most definitely an important part of the book. A very very important part of the book.) It was instead about Skye’s need to find herself. Be herself. Love herself. She didn’t have a tortured background. She doesn’t live in fear of an ex. She (short and sweet) is just a girl trying to find her way in the world while at the same time dealing with an overbearing mother. She could be me. She could be you. She could be the girl down the street.

Her journey is a sweet one. (Think RomCom.) We get to explore the world WITH her, while at the same time watch her fall in love. We get to gasp in amazement with her. Sign in defeat. Cry when we think no one else is looking. And then…we get to read the perfect ending.

There IS loss, perfect worlds don’t exists (even in books) but the story doesn’t dwell on it, it is uplifted by it. And…for those of you that follow J. Meyers blog you will understand when I say that a large majority of this book feels like a love letter to her brother. Rightfully so, and beautifully accomplished if I do say so myself.

If you have ever read a J. Meyers novel you know she pays great attention to detail. The same could be said for this novel. There was absolutely no stone left unturned. And while some of you may be turned off by a page or two of intricate detail, I think it’s what makes her writing so entrancing. She sets the scene and before you know it, you are lost inside of it.

This is an incredibly beautiful book. It’s heartfelt, touching, and most importantly…something different. Which is an impressive feat in a genre smothered in sameness.

Happy Reading my fellow Kindle-ites and remember: Never stop yourself from living.

3.5 Stars

Recent college graduate decides to backpack through Europe by herself (after her best friend bails), she meets a cute guy, romance ensues. Basically this is the definition of fluffy contemporary new adult with extra low stakes, and I am okay with that. Because I am at the moment battling The Cold to End All Colds, and a break from the angst is just what the doctor ordered.

The writing style was super accessible. The plot was a little disappointing, not quite enough road shop shenanigans for my taste but FINE.

The characters will likely be forgotten by this time next year but they weren't bad, as these things go. I thought Em was a bit of a pushover as I honestly would not be nearly so bendable in her place, as she changes her plans for her best friend's benefit--she's probably just nicer than I am.

So yeah, forgettable but fun vicarious travel romance. Harmless.

What a delightful, rollicking, travel story. I mean I know it's a love story, and it's a darn good one at that, but it's a travel story at its heart, and it's hard to come by good ones. Have just gotten back from Europe (again) myself, I had a blast diving into this story. Sure, it's a bit cheesy, but who doesn't love a good dose of cheese with their culture?

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

This book drew me in and kept me up Friday night. I read until I realized all of my kids had put themselves to bed. I tore through 51 percent of it that night. If Saturday and Sunday weren't so busy I would have finished it Saturday at least by lunch! But by 3pm Sunday I was finished.

I love Skye, she's vulnerable and she may not know what she wants, but she does know what she doesn't want. She's a grownup who has never been on their own, not really.
I like the detailed best friendship she has with Paige as well as her relationship with her younger brother.
I also like the depth of Asher's character.
I absolutely loved the plot and the journey. Skye is a girl we all have inside. She's taking the 'what if's' out of the equation. Figuring out who she is and what she really wants. It is the bravest thing that a person can do.
All I can say after reading it really is BRAVO!! j. meyers officially made me want to give a book a standing ovation! My brain echoed with the John Hughes-ish clapping to thundering applause.

If you want to laugh and cry and laugh some more and swoon..... Anyways!

Just a really really good read!

I was so delighted to get this little gem in my inbox. I love J's YA series, INTANGIBLE. Her easyflowing style, the world she created, and her character's personalities. I couldn't wait to see what she would do with an NA Contemporary. She did not disappoint. I LOVED ANYWHERE. LOVED it. Ate it up. Swirled it around and savored it. The characters. The settings.  The drama. The heartache. The thrills. The SWOON!!! Ah! This book was PERFECT. And yet it ended much too soon.

What made the story SO good??? Absolutely amazing characters for one. Told entirely from Skye's POV, she immediately became my new bff. I thoroughly enjoyed her voice. Smart, sassy, strongwilled, adventurous, secure with herself and in her dreams for the future, and yet still vulnerable, and a bit scared. She was an educated and somewhat experienced young woman who knew what she didn't want and what she craved. I loved her determination and her lust for life. Her wanting and demanding more. Refusing to settle or cave to anyone else's dictation or ultimatums. Living through her for a few short hours was glorious FUN. And a touch emotional. She has struggles and challenges to face once she returns home, and a very HAWT, very charming, completely irresistible fellow traveler has most certainly complicated things.

Boy, oh boy, is Asher something else. Woo! From the get-go this boy-man had my toes curling. Some may think he comes on too strong, but Skye and I didn't complain. He had me at, "Need help finding your train?". Just Skye's description of Asher and their first dialogue left me wanting more. His easy going manner, self confidence and sense of humor made him a great distraction. His playfulness and sense of adventure made him compelling. His adoration and obvious desire for Skye made him disarming. And his gentle wooing, smooth moves, and kind heart made him delectable. He is on paper PERFECT. If there is a REAL life guy out there like this one...Please! CALL. ME. IMMEDIATELY!!! In short, I LOVED him. And I loved him and Skye together.

The two become traveling companions and fast friends. And though both know it could never last, it's easy to see they have an undeniable attraction. They easily share their histories, hopes, fears, and dreams. They have an instant bond and need to protect the other. It seems as though they've known each other forever. They seem to be each other's perfect match. And they have the most amazing adventures all over Europe.

Of course it's not all fun and games. They both have lives to get back to. Problems to face. Futures to decide. Obstacles, loss, and disappointments to overcome. Each day their passion grows and Skye has to fight feelings she knows can only end up hurting them both. It's touching and heartbreaking. And simply beautiful.

This whirlwind affair alone holds your attention. Asher keeps you enthralled with his never ending quests and grand gestures. And you keep hoping that there is somehow, someway, somewhere... ANYWHERE these two can really be together. FOREVER. BUT, the story would not have been as romantic, as enchanting, and amazing had J. Meyer not taken us to the most beautiful and historical places in the world and made them an integral part of the tale. Her wonderful descriptions of the sites, the many excursions, and Skye's awe at her surroundings, made you feel as if you were truly there yourself. And who wouldn't want to be? Especially in Skye's shoes.

ANYWHERE made me dream for days afterwards. I'm still swooning over Asher. But what really stuck with me was Skye's growth and self empowerment. Her knowledge that she deserved happiness and to be loved the way she wanted is a rare thing in this genre. Most heroines constantly doubt their self worth and don't command their own course. Not Skye. She knows to get what you want out of life, you must demand it. Fate can only do so much. Even if it couldn't be with Asher, Skye would never give up the dream. She would not give up on love.

I can't tell you if Skye's dreams come true, but I can assure you you'll love her journey. Every. Single. Step of the way. If you only read one more book this Summer, make it ANYWHERE. It's NA Contemporary Romance done right. Sweet, not too heavy, fun, sexy, and totally satisfying.

It’s books like this that remind me why I love New Adult so much. It’s hard to explain why it is so much different than Young Adult. Anywhere was an incredibly sweet and easy read. You have two people that know they will have to go back to their own lives, but they get caught up in a moment in time and it turns into an amazing adventure for both of them.

Jinsey is an incredible author. I love how she is able to pace the story and really allow the reader the freedom to guess what might happen without giving too much away before it does. I was able to read this book over the course of one day, and I didn’t like having to put it down the few times that I did. You stay so engaged with what is going on that it is hard to stop reading it.

Skylar (Skye) and Asher definitely have one of the more beautiful relationships that I have seen in quite awhile. Everything about them just seemed perfect, you could see the chemistry they had and it just felt right. While this book is really sweet, it’s not completely a happily ever after. Skylar and Asher both have their own lives, they have people in their lives that they either want to forget, or that they don’t actually love. Finding each other allows them to really gain perspective over it all, but they still have a lot to deal with if they want their relationship to work.

The setting for this book is amazing. I love Europe, so to have this book set in Europe and all the traveling that takes place is a huge plus for me. It was so well done, that at times you feel like you are there. One of my personal favorite scenes was at the Lourve, when Skye and Asher were looking at the Mona Lisa and discussing how lackluster it was. Was just something about that scene that I found really genuine, and funny.

The side characters also played a huge role in this book too. Especially Paige. I loved the storyline there with the wedding and the baby, it was just a cute touch and it really played in well to the overall feel of the story since Skye would eventually have to attend the wedding. You also have Skye’s mom who for a lot of the book I really didn’t care for. She seemed really overbearing, and I just didn’t want to like her. Towards the end though, I saw a moment between her and Skye that slightly changed how I felt about her for the better.

I also loved a lot of the small elements in this book, just the small touches that kept the reading fun. This mostly came with the text messaging that took place throughout the book with Skye either talking to Justin or Paige most of the time. One of my favorite parts from that was when Skye was in Rome, and would keep teasing Justin about it being in Italy. I am sure that once you read this book, you will never forget that Rome is in Italy.

Overall it’s just a really sweet and fun book with it’s share of emotions. If you’re looking for something fairly light, I highly recommend this book. It’s really fast paced, and I can see most people easily being able to sit down and read this book in a day, and hopefully enjoying it as much as I did. I really hope you all will give this book a chance. If you don’t read New Adult, this is another one of those books that is a perfect bridge over between Young Adult and New Adult.

I had a really good time reading Anywhere by J. Meyers. Maybe you haven’t heard of this indie author gem, but J. Meyers also writes YA paranormal romance (find my reviews of her books here), and I was very eager to get my hands on her new adult debut, Anywhere.

Paige and Skye are traveling Europe after college. They’re young, they’re pretty, they’re – wait a second, did Paige just pee positive on a pregnancy test? Yeah. The epic European adventure for the two best friends comes to a grinding halt, and Paige decides she must go home and tell her boyfriend. Skye has to decide to stay and keep traveling – alone – or also go home and face the music of having jilted her ex-fiance practically at the altar, and disappointing her I-have-high-standards mother. (Who sounds like an uppity bitch, I’mjustsayin‘).

What happens next is a sweet story of learning to rely on yourself, trust that you can count on others and just learn to have the time of your life – anywhere you are.

Let me get this out of the way first: I think Meyers is a stronger paranormal writer than a contemporary writer. I don’t know how or why it would be different, but her paranormal stories just seem to flow much better for me than this NA contemporary one did. It was almost as if some of the narration didn’t fit the puzzle perfectly which threw me off a little bit. Examples I can think of are shorter sentence structures, less description of the world-building, and things like that.

This is a love lust at first sight book. If that doesn’t jive for you, move on. I can dig it, so it didn’t really bother me, and to be frank, I’ve sort of been there, done that, so it felt pretty realistic.

Anywhere could be a really awesome romcom movie, so get your popcorn, let me just say that now! I totally loved the way Skye and Asher met, carried on, and just sort of rolled with the punches. It’s the kind of love story you tell your grandkids one day: ”Well, Junior, grammy and I met while traveling in Europe and then we banged.” Maybe NOT the banging part.

Skye has a lot of personal demons I think many girls can relate to. She’s left a man at the altar (or very nearly) and her mother has expectations of her Skye doesn’t particularly wish to fulfill. For once she would rather live for herself and not for someone else, and I totally got that. She’s also self-deprecating, totally not serious and wants to experience life. She and Asher – well, I spent the better part of Anywhere just aching for something to happen, well – anywhere.

One thing I want to call out is how perfectly Meyers captures this instantaneous romance. It happens, it’s real. It’s happened to me, it felt whirlwind and swept me off my feet in a flurry of feelings and emotions and it was UNSTOPPABLE. That is just how Anywhere felt to me, almost like it transported me back to a great time that, while it may have ended, was still vibrant and full of great times and great emotions for me.

Overall, solid romantical story. A definite recommend.

Anywhere is by Meyers, who is the author of the Intangible series, which is such a fantastic series. So, when the opportunity came her New Adult novel as well, I couldn’t pass it up and boy am I glad I gave this one a try. It might be a fairly short book, but it left me thinking about even days after I finished it.

Skye has a bright future ahead of her. But when she up and packs her bags and decides to talk her best friend into taking off with her and travel, this causes all sorts of drama at home, from her mother, friends and even the fiance. This is a girl who knew that she wanted more, and didn’t want to settle and the strength she showed by taking such a big chance with the trip was what me adore her. Meeting Asher was a welcomed surprise, she has someone to travel with. Asher is attractive, adventurous, but his is also going through some things that he needs to work through. These two need each other more than they know. There are few other characters that I need to mention, Skye mother was awful, pushy and didn’t listen to a thing Skye said. I just wanted to pinch her, a lot. Paige was an amazing friend, she supported her even if was a crazy idea for the trip, but that is what makes a best friend. No judging, just sticking together.

The story moves quickly, with Skye and Piage starting their trip to Europe, but after there are somethings that Paige has to go home and attend to, Skye meets Asher, and they decide to travel together. The setting is beautiful, taking Skye and Asher so many wonderful places, and they were so vividly described it wasn’t hard to visualize the buildings, the street and even the people they meet. Traveling like this is something I think would be an experience that would I would never forget, and that is exactly what Skye needed and so did Asher. Their banter between them was fun to watch, and wasn’t the normal inst-love relationship that so often get thrown in, they fight not to let the other in. This is just a trip, one that is suppose to end by both of them going back home. There is much that happens between them before their trip ends, and I enjoyed every bit of it. Anywhere is a stand alone book so the ending has closure and was was fantastic. I do feel that there might be some room for more, so I will keep my fingers crossed.

This is a touching story about self discovery, finding love, and staying true to ones self and I couldn’t recommend it enough to give it justice.

I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review

Having made a decision that has left a few people unhappy. Skye Whitcomb needed to get away, and dropping everything and running off to Europe with her best friends Paige seems the best thing to do. An unexpected discovery means that a few day into the trip Paige has to return to the US. Skye is definitely not ready to go home yet, and decided to continue on her own. It’s not long before she meets Asher Benedict who is also traveling around Europe for a very different reason. They decide to continue on they travels together.

I liked Skye she had made a difficult decision, but one that was right for her. Her relationship with her Mother is tenses; it seen no matter what she does it’s never good enough. Asher (loved him) was a sweetheart, he had a great sense of humor, and I really felt for him when I discover the reason behind why he was traveling around Europe.

I like the storyline it was a quick, easy, fun and well-written read. Told from Skye’s POV. It had a bit of everything that I like in a book, touching moments, sexy moments, romantic moments funny moments, and was low on the drama. I liked Skye and Asher relationship was sweet and romantic. I liked the way developed naturally, and it wasn’t insta love. Loved the banter that had together, very funny at times. I loved the setting, and that Skye and Asher were always trying to find the tackiest souvenir.

Overall I enjoyed this book, which I read in one sitting, but I do wish it had been slightly longer. Great secondary characters that added to the story. Loved Skye’s brother, and the relationship they had. The ending was sweet, but I was left with a few questions. It was one that left me thinking that J. Meyers could easily continue Skye and Asher story in another book.

If you have a few hours to spare and you are looking for a sweet love story that will leave you with a grin on your face, then one click this book today.

“I never want to be in that situation again, in a relationship with someone who didn’t know the real me. I needed to trust –or at least hope – that someone would love me for me, flaws and all. And if he didn’t, then I didn’t want to be with him anyway” ~Skye

You should see how he looks at you its like you’re the sun and he’s been waiting for you all winter long” ~ Shayne

“There was something about him that was drawing me in, and I need to keep some sort of distance between us so it would stop affecting me” ~ Skye

“I like you. I’m having an amazing time, because of you. I would not be having twice the fun if I hadn’t spotted you at the station in Paris” ~ Asher

The air was charged between us, and I felt as if I were being pulled to him magnetically, by a force of nature that I could not resist even if I’d wanted to” ~ Skye

I got a copy in exchange for an honest review

Let me start by saying that Anywhere is one of the best NA contemporary romance books I've read, it's original, happy and light while stil dealing with some serious topics.

Anywhere is really different than most other NA Contemporary romance books I've read, most of those deal with heavy topics and there is a lot of drama. Anywhere is NA contemporary romance book with a light feel, it's happy and uplifting and while not everything is happy, the overal feeling is. It's a great story of how one girl goes to travel in Europa and what she finds out about herself. I really enjoyed Anywhere and when I started reading I couldn't put it down. And when it ended I just sat there wnating more, reading more of their story, wanting more. I wanted to know what happens next, I wanted to know what happens with Skye her best friends. I just wanted more of this book, but on the other hand the ending was perfect!

I really liked Skye, she goes on this trip she has been planning for years, but also to escape home, her mother and her former fiancé. She changed a lot during the story and became stronger. And then there is Asher, Asher is like the perfect guy. He is nice and considerate and perfect for Skye. I was rooting for them from the beginning and I loved reaidng how their relationship changed during the book. Sometimes I did wish they talked some things through, because some things needed talking about and especially towards the end of the book, there were some topics they kept avoiding. Then again the ending it was perfect.

The romance in this book was done really well, it progresses slowly, but not too slow and considering the fact they spend every day together I think the pace was perfect. The romance is sweet and Skye and Asher are just perfect for each other.

I liked the fact that this book is set in Europe, because whil I do live in Europe I haven't read many books that take place there. Also the location was really important for the story, there are all these touristic places they visit, but also some quiet towns.

The only thing I have left to say is please J Meyers write another contemporary book! I want more!

To conclude: I loved Anywhere, it is original, sweet, light and full of happines and beautifull moments. I really liked the story and that the story takes place in Europe. This book had that keep-reading-feel and I didn't want it to end. The romance was sweet and Skye ad Asher are perfect for each other. I want to read more contemporary romance books from J Meyers and I can only hope she decides to write more in this genre.
