A young boy listening to the radio and thrilling to the exploits of his cricketing heroes is unaware of the difficulties and pressures of the game. This book very carefully hints at some of off field maneuvering that went on. One also develops a new respect for those legends of the past who trained so hard and gave their all for very little.
