The books start out with Madi and Zach’s “reunion” after three years of being apart. And oh my, what a reunion it is. They are both in “altered states” Zach is high on cocaine, and Madi is drunk to the point of oblivion. I have to say, this scene really captured my attention, but not just because it was hot, though it most certainly was, but the author managed to pack what really felt like three years of longing and regret into one brief encounter. I had no doubt that the feeling between Zach and Madi were very real, and very raw.
However, despite this, for the first 60% of the book I couldn’t really decide if I wanted them to be together. You learn that Zach pushed Madi away three years ago to “protect” her, and I guess that is part of it. He really does it because he’s scared. He’s scared of being in love. He’s scared of what a real relationship with Madi, a forever kind of girl, means. He’s afraid that he can’t be that guy – the marriage and family guy – so he hurts her in the name of “protecting her.”
You get a brief outline of what happened the night broke up. Madi catches him with his secretary, at his penthouse, and she’s naked. Later in the book, you see this night through Zach’s eyes, and as unhappy as I was with the brief description, I was even less happy with the blow-by-blow. I really felt like he tried to minimize what happened, while being technically truthful, and it really pissed me off. My problem with Zach for the first half of the book was, even though he decides that breaking it off with Madi was the biggest mistake of his life, he’s STILL scared. He doesn’t cross any lines while pursuing her, but you can “hear” in his thoughts where he is still that same guy who didn’t know if he could really commit.
I know some other people were angry with Madi because she kept pushing him away – but I got it. If she could sense what we could “hear” in his thoughts, it was no wonder she didn’t feel like she could trust him again. I got mad at Madi for other reasons.
Then, just when you could “feel” Zach really have an epiphany, and truly make a change for the better, we had a flashback to the beginning of their relationship, and I was left wondering, yet again, if they should really be together (this time because of Madi, and what seemed like some insane lack of good judgment) that made me wonder if she really saw the “real” Zach at all, or if she just had this crazy insta-love/lust thing with him that made her lose her mind.
Eventually they both finally got to a place where what they felt for each other seemed real – and lasting, and even though I didn’t think I’d ever be really excited about them as a couple – I ended up being just a little bit swoony over them.
Overall it was a very good, if angsty story. It was refreshing (if frustrating) to see a man-whore hero that actually had to go though some internal struggles when he met the right girl, instead of just instantly becoming the perfect straight arrow who never even has the desire to look at another woman.
There were a few parts of the story that felt off – Madi’s mom’s whole set-up, and Madi’s Dad’s behavior at the end of the book. The nature of the business Madi was brought into run, and how and why exactly Madi’s mom got control of Zach’s company (and what exactly Zach’s company really did outside of the SPA business). I certainly felt like there were some things about Madi’s childhood, and her parents relationship that weren’t fully explained. But it didn’t take away too much from the “meat” of the story. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for another book by this author.

The things I didn't enjoy about this story......There are lots of additional characters and stories intertwined which, at times, made it feel a little disjointed. Madigan's relationship with her mother and father did not seem believable to me, her parent's actions and reactions did not have a sense of truth to them. I wasn't keen on all the extra stories concerning other characters, it felt unnecessary and inconsequential, I wanted the focus to be on Zach and Madigan; they were the stars.
The things I LOVED....I really enjoyed the relationship between Zach and Madigan, I liked watching it play out and develop and the way the author took us into their past together. This was great storytelling!!! And the sex between them was HOT, HOT, HOT, off the scale scolding, in fact. Yes, I enjoyed those parts very, very much!!

I am a little split with this story. The emotional ride was draining, but the intimacy aspect was spicy as hell. Let me begin by saying the opening chapter of this story, wow, especially with a little white powder, wow, it really went there. With the powder, it was like a threesome in the scene.This story started off intense and as it progressed, Zach and Madi's relationship hits highs and lows depending on the day of the week. I have never heard the words I HATE YOU so much within a story as I did in Wicked Allure.
Zach and Madi has been in a relationship three years prior, and with a misunderstanding that lead to their break up, it has left Madi heart broken. Although I really liked Zach and Madi's love, most of the story was Zach wanting to prove to Madi that he isn't the man she thinks he was three years ago. Most of their time was spent with a tug of war that ended up sexual or with a heated argument. Madi's mother was evil at its finest. They don't make them like that anymore. I really found her mother cold and unfeeling. I also enjoyed Madi's sisters as they were nice additions to the story.
I definitely thought the physical chemistry between the characters where explosive. I think it wasn't just the intimate act, but where and when it was done that added an excitement to the story. Zach and Madi argued hard but played even harder. Zach stop at nothing to finally get what he wanted, and that was, Madi.
The only thing I will say and this is a personal feeling, I felt drained because the constant arguing was getting to me. I know their emotions and issues had to be dealt with as part of the story, but it took its told on me after a while.

Passionately Dramatic!
Wicked Allure is one read that will lure your emotions from one extreme of sexual excitement to an enticing rage of hatred. The story captured my interest immediately with the skillful writing talent in bringing the characters to life on the page. The drama is intense and gives you insight of the love, deceit, jealousy, and hatefulness between a vengeful mother (Karolyn), protective father (Jack), and shattered confused lives between three sisters Madigan (Madi), Brianna, and Kelly.
Zach and Madi’s story is extremely emotional, full of turmoil, and deceitfulness from family members trying to keep them apart. The erotic scenes between them are deliciously described and sizzling hot throughout the whole book.
Regardless of it being a multi-culture (black/white) read, I felt it did not matter in determining whether it would be a great read or not. This is an outstanding and fabulous read and I would recommend it to all my erotic reader friends. To me, race or gay, lesbian, or straight laced does not matter to me when it comes to love. Love is love and we can't help who we fall in love with.
The ending was bitter sweet with the HEA between Zach and Madi as the story’s climax came to a head leaving the reader addictive to know more about the future of the characters and if there will be another book to pick up from where this one left off. My inquiring mind is dieing to know now that Madi got her HEA, will her two other sisters Bri and Kelly get theirs with their true loves (Scott & Beau)? Will Zach’s brother Dakota find love again as well? Will Madi’s parents Jack & Karolyn come around and make amends so they can be apart of Zach & Madi’s future baby? Will the drama of the hatred and jealousy ever end?

Wicked Allure by Shirley Ferdinand and Leslie Ferdinand was my first by these two, and I have to say I enjoyed it a lot!! It’s one of those where the he I’d her wrong in the past, and she left town for years. He was older, and thought he wasn’t good enough for her. Her parent’s had a nasty divorce, and she sided with her dad. Her Moma from hell hates her now, but also took that hatred out on him for years.
Zachary was at a birthday party for Madigan’s mother, and couldn’t stop his memories or his longing for Madi. So he falls of the wagon, drinking and doing coke till he passes out. But the bed e climbs into is already occupied by Madi (who snuck in and over did it on champagne). They both think they had an dream of declaring their love and making love to the other.
Madi comes back two weeks later on the summons of her mother. She thinks she is coming home to make peace with her mother, but her mother has tricked her into being forced to work closely with Zach. Sober she hates and longs for him, but she doesn’t trust him at all. Even with her lack of trust they end up having a lot of smoking hot sex, because all it takes is one breath stealing kiss from him to get her nekid or even partially nekid.
Can he prove that the past didn’t happen the way she thinks? Will she be willing to trust him enough to let him past the walls she put up? Can they work together without killing each other? And can the beat her mom at whatever game she is playing??
I loved stories of overcoming the past to make something stronger! It doesn’t take long for you to see everyone has judged Zach wrong, and I love how he proves that he is truly a good man. This was written wonderfully! Often times stories like this are rushed to the forgiving and HEA. These two were able to progress naturally, and quite frankly I loved the way it all went down! I highly recommend y’all check this one out!!!

This is not a book I would have ever chosen to read, not because of the sex or anything like that, but I'm personally completely uninterested in books that have any sort of drug use what so ever. It's like my anti-like. If I hadn't committed to reading it I probably would have stopped on the first page just because it's such a turn off for me. Setting that aside, you never know when you're going to like something you don't normally read, and I kept going.
What I did like: The sex scenes were really hot, although I thought the author used the four letter F word too much lol :-)
I liked the bitterness between the mother/daughter and the jealousy that Madi's mom has for her. It isn't something that you normally see in mainstream books, and I found it really interesting.
I did find that the more I read the more I liked Madi, however, I got really frustrated with her immaturity and had to remind myself that she's only 24 in the book and how completely devastating every single little thing is to someone that age. Even though she's supposed to be this super amazingly beautiful woman she really displayed a ton of insecurities. Maybe that's just something the author wanted to convey, that despite beauty and business success there are still women who are insecure. I wanted to tell her to get herself a little backbone, and go whip that b*&%$#@ a**! I would have loved to have seen more of her as a business woman outside of just her interactions with Zach.
(SPOILER ALERT)
I thought Madi was a total b*$ though when she was trying to leave with Kyle, talk about a serious double standard, and I was cheering Zach on when he walked out in just a towel. I wanted to give him a high five.
The premise of the sex club was something that I found really weird. One because I had a hard time imagining a mother ever putting her daughter in that situation, even with the reveal that Madi's mom is super jealous of her.
The explanation of how the "employees" would be paid and not have Wicked Allure investigated as a pay for play sex establishment could have been more clear. If someone had extensive knowledge in this area this bit would be a little too hard to believe. This kind of book will attract people who are in or know about that type of business, so that for me needed to be a little clearer. The other part about that was the way it was considered mainstream. Now don't get me wrong, I liked that it was in there, and I liked the spin the author put on it, however, that part of the plot could have used a bit more fleshing out for me. I liked the party scene, and I personally would have wanted to be a fly on the wall there.
Overall I think it's a very good book, and I think it definitely is a read that someone could seriously enjoy, the sex was great, and I really started to like the main characters more as the book progressed, whereas before I really didn't care too much I started really caring more towards the middle of the book and got to like the characters a lot more.
I can see people definitely going two totally different directions with this book. They either love it or hate it. I'd rate it 4.5 stars because I really do think it has appeal and definitely its niche in the market. For me it is just not my type of read, but for those looking for a steamy book like this I think it will hit it out of the ballpark for them. I wanted to give the author a review that was more than OMG read this book.
If you're african american, or you really enjoy books that have an interracial feel to them then Wicked Allure is for you. If you're looking for an easy read with characters that grow on you then I recommend this book.

I'm actually quite surprised I've given this 3 stars, because for the first half of the book I seriously struggled to get into the story. This is definitely not what I would describe as the best Erotic Romance I've read and to be honest the sex scenes weren't all that imaginative. 'Wicked Allure' could have been utilised so much more, it was there, so why not use it. Instead there was just this story where Madigan's family, especially the god awful mother, were deceiving and keeping secrets from her. I also felt the reason for the mothers absence a little unrealistic. I also felt characters were written into the story unnecessarily and diverted my attention from the actual plot and just downright confusing me. I read a lot of paranormal romance, therefore plausibility isn't a big deciding factor in my reviews, however I felt this story was way beyond implausible and the ending didn't feel like much of a conclusion in the long term sense. Having said that, that last half of the book did become more enjoyable and I don't want to say this book is all bad, there were a few emotional scenes and some of the dialogue was pretty funny at times and all in all the general story outline of this book is pretty good. Anyway I'm glad I didn't give up.

Now I'm no saint but shit this aggravated me. I know, I know it's a common theme for nice girls to fall for man whores and have doubts, but shit this lasted throughout the entire book, it was like a broken record. So flipping annoying.
For the most part it was a good idea. Good looking alpha Male man whore. Then you have a spoiled rich girl (Paris Hilton type) but apparently she's "innocent" or was. They have a romance, man whore acts like a man whore, innocent girl flees. This was the back story.
So present time, book starts with a bang. Hot sex drug induced scene (not that I'm promoting drugs cause I'm so not) which both parties can't remember or think it was a fantasy. To have a fantasy like that.....lol
So here's where it gets weird. Mommy dearest who has a heart of stone, who also wants hot man whore tricks Madi into coming back to town to work with Zach (said man whore) to , get this, open a sex club together. Thinking this would keep them apart for good. Yeah that's a brilliant idea put 2 people who had an awesome sex life together to work in a sex club, yeah that won't stir up past feelings. But I guess said man whore can act like a man whore in this situation. (right Jesse Ward from This Man) and piss off innocent girl.
Sum it up. Premise of story good. Heroine, annoying as shit (refer to opening quote). Man whore: rich good looking, good in bed (whats not to like), well except he likes all "beautiful women" . But the story didn't flow like I had hoped. The dialogue lacked and it was confusing at times who was actually talking. It was kind of choppy. Because of this I had a hard time connecting to the characters and story as I had hoped.

I got this book as an ARR and thought it had some promise. Could have used a little more character development and organization of the story to make it a little easier to follow. The heroine was a bit all over the map emotionally, one minute falling apart with tortured feelings about the hero and the next hanging out with him and giggling like they were best buddies. The sexy stuff was pretty hot, but maybe a bit too technical in terminology. All in all, the idea behind the story was good and some inventive drug use (okay, inventive for me and my sheltered life) which didn't creep me out as much as I thought it would, but I think it needs a little work.

Received this book for an honest review.
Loved it. The writing was great, tension, sex and drama were in the right amount. Some of the sex scenes had me all hot and bothered.
Zac and Madi loved them, but Madi's mum Karolyn what a bitch she was. At times I wanted to kill her.
Worth a read and would read more from this author.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from this book. I mean, erotica, obviously, and from the back cover copy it seemed to actually have a real plot. But with erotica, you don't always know what you're going to get from an author you're unfamiliar with, whether it will be something really good – a love story, for instance, or something really crappy – a bunch of sex scenes cobbled together with a little narrative. So I was happy to discover a story about desperate love, denial of feelings, and determination to stay away from the other. .
The book opens with a lengthy, fairly hot, but slightly bizarre sex scene between Zach and Madi, which ends with them going their separate ways, neither really remembering that night and both thinking it was a drug (Zach) or alcohol (Madi) induced dream.
Three years prior, Zach and Madi had been in a hot and heavy relationship. Madi was young and very in love with Zach, wanting to settle down with him and start a family. But Zach had no desire to travel down that road, and when Madi walked in on him with another woman in his bed, she fled from him and her family and started life over in a new city. Now Madi's mother, who is also Zach's business partner, has conspired to bring her home and manipulated her into running the company's newest acquisition with Zach, a spa/sex club.
I'm pleased to tell you that Madi and Zach are two incredibly tortured souls, who we, the reader, get to know really well. Madi's whole family is dysfunctional, and her mother has never forgiven her for siding with her father in their divorce. The girls have grown up in the public eye. They're celebutantes, but not your typical spoiled little rich girls. When Madi and her sister find themselves having to buy groceries they don't even know where to start:
“Where do we begin, Madi?” Brianna's hesitant voice snapped her back to the present.
“I don't know. I-I think you go in alphabetical order.”
While this is Madi's story, her two sisters are important characters as well. The girls love each other, but they also fight and squabble amongst themselves. And since they have the Mother From Hell, it's no wonder they're all a little damaged. Karolyn's treatment of her daughters sometimes made me cringe, and I was glad when she left town and stayed away for awhile, though her influence was still strongly felt. .
Zach lost his mother as a teen, and his father crumpled under his grief and left his sons emotionally abandoned. Zach is a strong and charismatic man. He has a lot of failings, and he treated Madi pretty bad three years ago, but you can't help but be drawn to him. Sometimes I would think how in the world can Madi get past his actions. Then I would remind myself that drugs and alcohol affected his behavior, and he's trying to be a better man now. Yet despite that, at the core he hasn't changed, he still doesn't want that settle down and start a family life. It was a struggle to decide how I really felt about him. On one page I adored him, and then suddenly I wanted to smack him. We also meet his brother, Dakota, who's come back to town and is staying with Zach. Some of the scenes with the two brothers talking were my favorite, and it was very satisfying to see how their relationship slowly evolved.
I was once asked if I prefer novels that are plot driven or character driven. For me it's characters, first and foremost. A book can have absolutely no plot at all, but if the characters are well written it doesn’t matter. The characters in Wicked Allure fit that description. From the beginning, the authors put us inside both Madi's and Zach's heads, and by the end I was very emotionally invested in their story. Zach, particularly, burrowed into my heart as he grew and matured and redeemed himself and learned what's really important in life.
My only problem with the book was in the editing. There were a lot of small instances of the wrong spelling of a word being used, or a comma where I didn't think one was appropriate. Not anything major, but enough to be a little irritating.
While the back cover copy describes the book as multicultural, that essence of the story was matter of fact rather than drummed in, as it should be in real life.
To sum up, the authors have created a powerful story and vivid characters with an HEA that was a long time coming and extremely satisfying.
Oh, yeah, the sex – this is erotica after all! There's plenty of it, and it's good. But honestly, I don't think I would have really noticed if some or even most of it had been deleted. The rest of the book was that good.

Wicked Allure is an erotic romance about forgiveness , moving on and second chances. The things the rich do to stay in the limelight even if the information portrays the rich as flawed and scandalous. A bit of publicity can get them everywhere !

I really enjoyed this story; it’s filled with smoking hot sex scenes, characters rich in character, and a love that defies all obstacles. Even the ones thrown in the way to stop the love from moving on.
Zac and Madi shared a past – a past that Zac wasn’t all willing to move forward with, after a turn of events, Madi flees and leaves Zac behind and tries to move on..
Three years later her mother draws Madi back, not knowing her mother is up to her old tricks again convinces and leaves Madi in charge of creating a ** F>>K club**. Zac only agrees on the deal to keep an eye on Madi and hopefully woo her back. Zac knows that he doesn’t deserve Madi after everything - but he wants to show her that the love they have is made of second chances. Zac works for Madi's mother - her motives Madi is unsure about but in time this all comes out in the wash.

After a hot dream – Zac is drawn to Madi again and vice versa they both think they have had dreams, but after a night of hot passion and love rekindled they both cant stop thinking about each other.

The lovin scenes are smoking hot – the sex they share is smouldering but is there more to the relationship then just hot sex ? Madi wants more – but is Zac willing to give all that it takes to keep the woman he loves including that happily ever after ??
Wicked allure is filled with lots of drama, the drug scenes are very minimal and by no means made me feel like the book was related around this issue. A few words thrown in here and there - by all means I didn't find offensive but for those who don't like the F... word thrown in for that added extra than the language you may not like. Me I personally didn't mind, its erotic and the context in which its used blends in within the story.
Being an erotic romance , expect lots of steamy bedroom scenes maybe even an office scene thrown in as well. ** waggles eyebrows.**
I enjoyed the characters – Zacs brother was certainly a hotty – he was witty and funny and held a torch for Madi – If it was me I tell you the temptation would be just too great... ** snickers **
Zac was sinfully sexy - there's nothing quiet as sexy as a dominant man who knows what he wants !! He was certainly a love machine and had the sex appeal any reader will enjoy in a steamy erotic romance. Zac came across forward , romantic and smexy as ! Yes smart and sexy in one ** grins ** ohh and rich !!! geesh what a combination !!
This story puts forth and focus's also around the rich and popular. The things the rich do to stay in the limelight even if it may give the public false information. What rich money can buy, and who you can pay to do your dirty work and what money can certainly do for you to benefit.. Even to get revenge ?
The only thing I’d like to have seen more of – would be how the sexy rooms at the new establishment came about – maybe a little tango here and there. We were given general descriptions, but deep down I’d hoped to have seen a little more action. ** Wicked I know **.
Wicked Allure will certainly allure you in, have you reading briskly, your breathe baited and your toes curling. Heartfelt moments where present.

Madi was an engrossing character, filled with love and forgiveness and a wonderful natured character. I enjoyed the ending but would love to have seen a little more into that to. ** I know I want so much ** but romance is my all-time favourite genre! The sexy bits just added extra ;)

Zachary Steele likes his coke – and I don’t mean the soda. And he’s mixed it with scotch. Madigan is next to him in bed. Madigan DeLeon is an exotic looking beauty. At one point, Zach hurt her and pushed her away. In his drug induced mind, he doesn’t know what is real and what isn’t. He thinks Madi is a fantasy. And later on they will learn that there are always consequences for their actions.
Madi’s sisters end up in the room and one of them gives the hint that someone else may have been the one to keep her and Zach apart. She has a great job – she’s a junior vice president of development at a multimedia company. Madi’s mother, Karolyn, seems like a controlling bitch. Besides controlling her daughters, she also took controlling interest in Zach’s company.
And then Karolyn springs a surprise on Madi. This leaves Madi questioning what she should do. Even her sisters get involved in her life. I guess I should be grateful that I only have brothers. They wouldn’t dare sticking their noses in where they don’t belong. Karolyn also likes to torture those around her.
Leslie and Shirley do a great job of creating Karolyn’s character – she’s pure evil on two legs. They also make Madi sound like pure sex in stiletto knee-high boots. Karolyn seems to be the puppeteer and she holds all the strings. I can definitely say that she is one of my least favorite characters. But isn’t that what Leslie and Shirley want? It means you are involved in what is going on in the book.
One reoccurring theme is the past between Zach and Madi. I understand it made them who they are now but I have to wonder how many times it will keep coming up. Do we really need to hear about it over and over? That was my only negative thing about the whole story. Although that is also what brings them back together.
We then find out how the book got its title. If our writing team ever decide to make this the start of a series, I hope we will hear more about the business that Madi and Zach start. I’d love to know more about what people do there.
I found it funny that while reading a scene where Zach is at the business, the song “The Cheater” http://youtu.be/zToZZOTmeXo sung by Bob Kuban came on. It was then followed up by “Tears on my pillow” http://youtu.be/8HXugnXK8Js by Little Anthony and the Imperials. It couldn’t have been planned any better.
At the beginning of this story, upon meeting Zach’s brother Dakota I didn’t think he was all that smart. But then there is a point where the two of them have a serious discussion and he gives Zach some very sound advice – I was very impressed. And I can say the same about this book.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the love story of Zach and Madi. And I was also impressed that our mother and daughter writing team didn’t change the mother character. She was a bitch at the beginning of the story and she was that same at the end. Bravo ladies!
This may have some explicit language in it but not enough to offend anyone. And the sex scenes – hot! You now have a choice to make. Which would you prefer, paperback or e-book copy - tough choice.

Let me start out by saying this: at some point in the book you will become choked up. It brought tears to my eyes several times, but this is an outstanding book and the emotional consequences should not deter you from reading this book. It is well worth the momentary blindness by happy and sad tears.
Madi was head over heels in love with Zach. She was ready to settle down, throw her career and dreams away, and start a family. Unfortunately Zach was not. He was terrified. Unfortunately fear causes people to do stupid things. Madi walked in on what she thought was Zach getting ready to have sex with another woman. She was absolutely crushed. She turned away from him and left to start her life as far away from him and her family as possible. Madi could never fathom that a bigger game was at play. So when her mom calls her three years later for her come home, Madi still has extreme reservations. Her mother pulls out the big guns and waves the possibility of becoming a stock-holder in her dads company IF she runs a business her mother recently acquired. Little did Madi know that her partner in this venture would be Zach and the business was a sex club.
Zach cared little about things in life. Since he had chased Madi away three years ago, all that was left for him was work. He struggled to bring his father's company back up to the top and made a lot of bad business decisions. He ended up working for Madi's mother, which is one of the worst case scenarios in his life. No one is more shocked than Zach when Madi comes strutting in the door for a stock-holders meeting. Maybe, just Maybe he could convince her to hear him out. And maybe hell would freeze over too...lol.
Madi and Zach are two pawns in a much bigger game. They almost realize it too late and many people have to fill in the gaps for them to figure out what is truly going on. The characters are all very unique and have memorable characteristics. I truly think Madi and Zach are my favorites. Zach begins changing the moment Madi walks back into his life and you literally get to watch his growth as he works through his own realizations. Zach has always been more than he seems, but Madi was one of the few people to ever see him for himself. Can he reclaim that faith? Can Madi forgive Zach and learn to trust in him? This book was truly amazing and I enjoyed it immensely!!!

Zach cared little about things in life. Since he had chased Madi away three years ago, all that was left for him was work. He struggled to bring his father's company back up to the top and made a lot of bad business decisions. He ended up working for Madi's mother, which is one of the worst case scenarios in his life. No one is more shocked than Zach when Madi comes strutting in the door for a stock-holders meeting. Maybe, just Maybe he could convince her to hear him out. And maybe hell would freeze over too...lol.
Madi and Zach are two pawns in a much bigger game. They almost realize it too late and many people have to fill in the gaps for them to figure out what is truly going on. The characters are all very unique and have memorable characteristics. I truly think Madi and Zach are my favorites. Zach begins changing the moment Madi walks back into his life and you literally get to watch his growth as he works through his own realizations. Zach has always been more than he seems, but Madi was one of the few people to ever see him for himself. Can he reclaim that faith? Can Madi forgive Zach and learn to trust in him? This book was truly amazing and I enjoyed it immensely!!!

Great book, incredible start....

Wicked Allure is an erotic read from the very start. A tale of a forbidden love that against all odds; and much heartbreak for both parties, they strive to conquer all the hurdles that are set in their path. Business owner Zachary Steele is a business owner who has come into some financial difficulty and sold his shares to the mother of his lover, Madigan to help him out of a financial crisis. Little did he know that Madigan, the youngest daughter of a socialite family, would steal his heart and make him want to be a better person. Unfortunately, her mother had other ideas for his company and their relationship and deliberately set about trying to sabotage not only their relationship, but also any thread of relationship she had with her daughter Madigan.
This book was very easy to read and had a great story line. At times I felt that I was missing something, as the author gave just a glimpse into the previous lives of her characters. It is almost as if this book was the second in a series and at then end I was left hoping that their would be another book to come as it felt as though some of the story had yet to be completed. As much as it was a fast paced start it was also an abrupt end, leaving me wanting to read more. I look forward to reading the development of the characters within the book.

What to say about Ms. Ferdinand's book? Well first of all, let me advise you have a hanky available. The story is a whirl wind of emotions as Madi deals not only with her unrequited love for Zach but also her extremely dysfunctional family. Over all I'd give this book a four and half out of five stars. It had a great plot, where we watch, wait and hope that love will conquer all.
As for Ms. Fredinand's first foray into the world of Erotic Romance, I'd say she'd done her research. The love scenes were sizzling hot, even those which made me a bit uncomforatable at the beginning. I will have to say she did create some very realistic characters in Zach and Magi - and I couldn't help but find myself rooting for Zach as he not only tried to conquer his own demons but convince Madi that he while he doesn't believe he deserves another chance, he wants it.
Without giving away the plot, I will have to say, that if you're a person who loves a well built love story with steamy love scenes and plenty of drama, then Wicked Allure is the book for you.

Oooh, it is always exciting when drugs & booze are involved in a 2nd time around meeting. What a way to kick of an emotional roller coaster! 3 yrs prior Zach pushes Madi away to “protect” her, more like because he is scared of his feelings for her.
Madi is heartbroken; believing Zach cheated on her she gets the f*/+ out of dodge to start a new life…away from the crazy that is Zach and her family.

Wow not what I expected. It has a great story. I loved Zach! Hot alpha male...he reminded me a bit of Gideon. He has a bit of mysteriousness around him, he loves sex, he loves beautiful women and he oozes sex appeal!! Whew! I also loved Madigan...she is exotically beautiful and gorgeous, kind and sweet, and she can not even think around Zach...because she is so hot for him. I loved it!!
The sexual tension and passion in this book is hot hot hot. These two characters lust after each other like no other. The sex scenes are steamy and passionate. Over all a great read.

This book is absolutely fantastic! Kept me entertained for hours! The characters are delicious, funny, exciting and realistic. I've told all my friends and they love it! It is definately on my lists for favorite books! Keep up the excellent work!

This story has everything! Complex characters, emotional connections and baggage, with emotionally charged scenes – you will be angered and cheering from one page to the next. Madigan is the youngest of 3, her mother is an unrelenting witch, her father is her hero, and Zack is the one man who moves her; but he also shattered her heart. Will he manage to overcome his guilt to obtain and treasure the one woman who stars in all his dreams, or will she remain angry and shuttered off, despite wanting him and him alone for as long as she can remember? Will they ever realize that the dream was reality, just fuzzy after too much champagne and cocaine? A fabulous read that had me hooked in the first scene and now wants the authors to get working on a sequel

I had read the book last year, and loved the storyline and characters: complex and loaded with emotion, baggage and the interfering hand of an overbearing and dictatorial matriarch there were many elements that enhanced the tension. Madi’s anger and Zach’s guilt were palpable and the repeated dramatic climaxes provided a never-ending thrill ride from one scene to the next. Both Madi and Zach develop and grow throughout the book, with personal insights that enable their bond to grow and survive the essential fact that they are pawns in a game.
While the story hasn’t changed, listening and reviewing the audio version did stir emotional reactions all over again, with literal snorts of disgust at the behavior of Karolyn DeLeon, matriarch, and rather spineless acceptance of the machinations of his wife from Jack. Of course there was anger, and several moments of “Oh I didn’t remember that part and NOW this fits better”. And then there were the hormone driven, uber sexy steamy scenes that both felt natural and right, and were smattered throughout the story with interesting point of view insights provided in Madi’s or Zach’s voice.
Unfortunately as much as I loved reading the story: the narration provided by Lauren Sweet did not work as well for me. Her voice is perfectly pleasant, and enunciation is correct, but there was a ‘hollow’ sound to the audio recording. When I first thought it could be headset or player related, I listened on different devices: laptop through speakers, earbuds and mixing headphones, then the same options for iPod and lastly through my kindle fire. Technically I don’t know what wasn’t quite “right”, best explanation I have is that it feels like there were two microphones in the audio recording: one close and one far – and only the further one is working properly. Additionally, there were emotional components and inflections missing from her narration: while not technically ‘bad’, there is room for improvement that would have enhanced the story and not just recited it.
What finally appears is a workable version of the story, with great emotional depth and character growth, a complex plot that has several side-stories that all feed into the twists at the end. And it most certainly is worth a read or listen.

Whew what an exhausting read.
There were a number of secondary characters but two intrigued me no end. We meet Dakota, Zach’s brother who lost his wife and child some time ago. This grief I can understand. Dakota uses sex to forget his grief too and he has a string of partners both actual and alluded to throughout much of the story. The Bradford’s are a husband and wife team who’ve been married for 17 years and move in societies exalted circles. Lane is straight laced, unflappable and very unhappily married (I hated how she sounded like a beaten puppy), forced to turn a blind eye at her husband’s blatant cheating to avoid a scandal that might well topple the golden couples reign at the top. Keeping face is all Lane has left and she’s holding on for dear life. I’d love to see her husband get his come uppance in the severest way possible and I’d love to see Lane happy. I’d read their story if it ever went to print.

So first of all I would Like to say that I got this book from a goodreads Giveaway. This is the first book I have won, and I am very excited to read and review it.
So I guess I will start with the cover, since it is the first thing you see when it comes to books. It is very eye catching because it clearly screams 'sex'. It caught my attention, for sure. I mean, who wouldn't be intrigued by a naked lady. But because of this cover, I found it very hard to find time to read it. It is not the type of book you can just read anywhere, because of the cover. I like to read in front of the fireplace, and lose myself in a book while the kids run about or while my parents have their own little conversation. Yet I couldn't do this with this book, because, well It's not a good idea to read a book with a naked lady as the cover in front of children or adults for that matter. So This disappointed me a little. Because of this, It took me a very long time to read this book, which was a one day read, but because of the cover. I only found time to read it before bed, and being tired, i could only manage a couple of pages a night. It would have been help full if the cover had been a little bit more subtle, not that I am complaining. I like the cover, its sexy and eye catching.
Next topic, the characters. I feel that the characters had a very real feel to them. Their feelings raw, I could most definitely relate to them. The pain of betrayal caused by nothing more than the hope of love and romance. Without having gone through these experiences yourself, you find yourself relating to the characters, losing yourself in them, as if they were to be your own. I can almost see through the eyes of every character,even the mother and father. Even though there emotions were being viewed through a sort of thick veil. To be able to do this through words, is a very unique talent, that only some writers can bring to their writing.
The relationships in wicked Allure were very realistic and natural, which was what I loved most about this book. You see how a relationship develops. You see how things go from 'him','her' and 'his'; to 'us', 'we' and 'our'. When a relationship is stuck at the me stage, it isn't going to get very far. You learn this in Wicked Allure, you understand it. Another thing I adored about Wicked Allure was the ending. I love it when things are kept realistic and not picture perfect, Wicked Allure gave me just that. It showed that ever happy ending comes with a downside, a very real consequence. Thus no longer a picture perfect love story. When relationships are involved, the puzzle never really fits together. You have to accept it for what it is. I would alas say more, but I don't want to spoil anything. So I would like to move onto another let down. I was intrigued by one of the characters and would have liked to know what was to happen with that particular character. I would have liked to know more, but I am hoping that this just means that there will be another installment of Wicked Allure. Which will undoubtedly be a very good thing.
Over all, I was impressed with this book, and I would recommend it to anyone that has a taste for sex, drama and a tid bit of romance.

Yes there were parts that seemed a little confusing but overall it got to the point which is them getting back their love.

He knew as soon as she left he was going to mess up and boy did he ever. His mother would be disappointed in him but none worse like Madigan. Everything of course changed when Madigan left and the pain in his heart has not stopped to heal except for one night. One night that he seemed like his ultimate fantasy with his Madigan that sometimes he still remembers the whole thing in quite detail. The thing is that something about that dream seemed so real. Was it a dream? Or his second chance that he messed up again? He knows he’s not good enough for Madigan but a life without is just too much for him. Everybody had a part in this book to the point where they could have been the main characters instead of just Zach and Madigan. The sad part was that everybody seemed to have a story in this book that I wanted to know more about them for instance Dakota and his past, Briana and her lost love and even Kelly. I loved it and seriously hope there is a book two coming or something from this talented author. Leslie C. Ferdinand is definitely one to keep a look out for from this mother/daughter author.

This book was given to me from a Goodreads Giveaway, for which I am grateful, and all the extras inside the book that the author sent me.
The first thing that brought my attention to this book was definitely the cover. People should not judge a book from its cover, but this one is simple and definitely don’t get any doubt about what you can find inside on the pages. Eroticism is the first thought, and as I explored more about the book when I was still thinking in participate, I decide this book could be a good read to vary my reading.
The story is between Zachary Steele that could be defined in just one word… womanizer. For him one woman was no option until he meets Madigan DeLeon, and even then that new thought catch him off guard.

May I say I became surprised with the complexity of the book. It was not just sex, there were feelings, broken relationships even in between family as Madis and her mother. I liked the dynamic between sisters. Zack had drug problems. When I first found the sex club I thought big part of the story was to happen there, but the real problems were faced in the basics day by day. The characters fell real with their feelings, doubts, fears… Even the secondary characters were important and not that secondary. But the most important to me was to see growing what was left as a damaged relationship between Madi and Zach through their final state. The sex scene were hot, good placed through the book.
I enjoyed this reading, hope people enjoy it too.
The first thing that brought my attention to this book was definitely the cover. People should not judge a book from its cover, but this one is simple and definitely don’t get any doubt about what you can find inside on the pages. Eroticism is the first thought, and as I explored more about the book when I was still thinking in participate, I decide this book could be a good read to vary my reading.
The story is between Zachary Steele that could be defined in just one word… womanizer. For him one woman was no option until he meets Madigan DeLeon, and even then that new thought catch him off guard.

I have to admit that I was a little cynical when I first accepted this book to review because erotic romance is not a genre that I usually read (Fifty Shades was a BIG exception). I decided to give it a go though as I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and I have to say that I actually quite enjoyed this book.
The main characters, Zach and Madi, are easy to like and although some of the banter between them seemed a little immature to me at times, I found their relationship convincing and enjoyed seeing them develop together as a couple throughout the story.
The fact that the majority of the characters in the story were very realistic was a big positive to me. It made me enjoy the story a lot more as I felt I could actually picture the characters and what they were going through. The only character I was still a little sceptical about at the end was Madi's mother because she was a little overdevloped to me but as she didn't really play a huge part in the book it didn't really worry me.
Being an erotic romance it does contain some very descriptive sex scenes but it's more your run-of-the-mill sex scenes rather than anything kinky which was a relief.
Overall I would recommend this book to anyone into erotic romance stories, especially those that actually contain a decent plot and not just in a mundane, page filling kind of way in between the sex scenes. It's not a book to read if you're after anything full-on deep and nmeaningful, but it's certainly a good page turner and one that kept me interested until the very end.

After the scars of the past, Zachary Steele doesn’t believe in happily ever after. He lives a hedonistic life style and doesn’t want to corrupt Madigan DeLeon anymore than he already has. Deciding to end their affair, it doesn’t take him long to figure out that she has come to mean more to him than he realized. Three years later, falling off the sober band wagon he indulges in a couple of lines of cocaine while attending a party thrown by Madigan’s mother. Unbeknownst to Zachary, Madigan is at the same party. Somehow they end up in the same bed, both blitzed out of their minds, and have sex. After Madigan’s sisters rescue her the next day, neither Zachary nor Madigan realize what they have done. Did it really happen, or did they hallucinate the whole scenario? Madi has come home to reconcile with her mother, but sadly, her mother does everything in her power to destroy Madi, and her love for Zach.
Wicked Allure has the right elements to make one’s toes curl - namely hot, out of this world sex scenes. Unfortunately, the sex scenes are the best part of the story. The trust issues between Madi and Zach just seem to go around and around. Madi has a tendency to be childish every time she tells Zach she hates him. Karolyn, Madi’s mother is evil and the most interesting of the characters, but other characters are just thrown in and don’t really add anything to the story. With some formatting and editing, this story has great potential.

An emotional, heart wrenching story of real love. Okay. Can I just say, that Karolyn is a BITCH. She doesn’t deserve to be a mother or for her children to love her. How can Jack remarry her and then not stick up for his daughters. UHHHHHHH. That just pissed me off. Sorry, but as a mom, I wanted to reach in the book and punch her. Now that that is out of the way. HeHEHE.
Zach is tormented and full of guilt. Madi is full of love, but is scared he will hurt her again. Now, mind you, Zach does deserve her wrath, all the way or not, he cheated. But for a mother to set her daughter up to get hurt like that. Wow. I just don’t understand. How can you be jealous of your own child. Once Madi and Zach work thru their differences the book is amazing. It’s hilarious and will make you cry like a baby. I really hope the book continues into a book 2 and more. I really want to know what happens with Brittney and Kelly. Maybe their mother deserves a background book as well so I can see what the hell is going thru her mind. Sorry, I won’t start on that again. I did love this book. The characters are so real for me.

Wicked Allure starts fast and hooks you. The first scene smolders and finishes with some fast moving dialogue. I don’t think I looked up from the book during the first 50 pages, I wanted more. Madi and Zach put each other through the ringer. Man, the emotion and passion on the page is very real. Their sex scenes are burning hot, this writing team has a real talent for adding the heat and there is loads of it too. Love it. Madi’s family adds a ton of conflict to this story providing a war of emotions and entanglements.You feel right in the middle of the story, and believe me, you’ll feel the roller coaster turning. The story will put you through the ringer and the drama stays fresh and moving right till the very end. The biggest question of all is will Madi and Zack work things out. Will they push past life’s challenges, push past what scares them the most and make the grand leap. It’s fascinating page turning stuff.

A wickedly great read by the mother and daughter duo of Leslie C. Ferdinand! It is so packed full of heat, emotion, love and betrayal among lovers and family members, that you will find your jaw dropping and the urge to grip a character or two by the neck to shake some common sense into them many times over.
The main female character, Madigan DeLeon, is a beautiful, strong, quick witted woman that has one weakness and that weakness is Zachary Steele. Zachary is a successful, smart and extremely good-looking man that has a very large sexual appetite. He’s only desired one woman to satisfy that appetite since he’s met her and that’s Madigan.
A great read for all erotic fans that enjoy great down and dirty sex scenes with an equally great story.
