I love the game plan and tip section of the cookbook. The recipes aren't really four ingredients but they are fairly basic and sound delicious. A lot of using prepackaged food which is great.
If you look carefully and have patience you will find some recipes that are simple and delicious and best of all have not been printed and used so much we are all sick of them. There are some unusual combinations in soups and salads that have me longing for chilly weather so I can enjoy them again and bring them to the next pot luck as a new treat. The recipes are easy but some ingredients are not available in the average local grocery. Try creating your own substitution. You will not be disappointed.
Each recipe gets broken down into sections that take the guesswork out of the process. There's a "game plan" which outlines how to execute the meal; preparation and cooking times; serving sizes; a list of ingredients; detailed, step-by-step directions; and finally, nutritional value. Overall, Holmes shares some delicious recipes that are easy to pull off. This book will help you look forward to cooking after a long, busy day!
