Blinded By Sight

Rate this book
Blinded By Sight is a 50k word short novel, and is Book 2 of the Gray Sky series. There is more to blindness than just the absence of sight. For Declan, that truth began as a painful journey to uncover the mysteries of the VAC machines and why they failed to bring color back to their dreary gray world. For Sammi, the VAC machine has become her salvation, challenging the same truths Declan seeks, trying to reveal what is and is not real. For Isla, her journey began more than a hundred years ago, eclipsing her own death, awakening deep inside the VAC Machine. She uncovers clues mysteriously placed in the past, discovering a history that leads her to the Commune's Executive floors and why death for some opens the wrong doors. For Ms. Gilly and Robert, their chance encounter with an ancient artifact that shouldn't exist, leads them to leave their Commune, risking their lives to find answers to questions they may wish they'd never asked. Blinded by Sight continues the Gray Skies story, exploring why the clouds fell from the sky and why what you see isn't always what it seems.

Great "next book" in the series. I really loved the writing in Gray Skies and how the author described the dystopian world that Sammi and Declan lived in. I was completely surprised at the turn the story took in Blinded By Sight. Fantastic and completely unexpected and left me wanting more! If you read Gray Skies, then you must read this next installment

Edit: this review was for book 2 in the Gray Series which has been re-published. See books blurb for info.
