I didn't fangirl out this time on L.G. Castillo but that doesn't mean I can't fangirl out right now. OMG!!!! LOVED LOVED LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! Reading a series is like hanging with old friends. I really didn't realize how much I missed all those crazy angels until the first sentence. I wouldn't wait to find out how Naomi and Lash were doing and what happened to Welita and Chuy. I also wanted to make sure Bear was ok, that crazy dog was a great addition to all the cast of characters in the first book.

Hmmm now were do I begin....

The story starts about a couple weeks after Naomi dies. She is now an Archangel. Lash and her live together in heaven. Naomi has been spending a lot of time training with Gabrielle. Lash is still very angry with Jeremy for killing Naomi and not saving her and Raphael (his father) for the secrets he has kept from them even though it was sort of a punishment (you learn more about that later in the book). Naomi really misses her family and she suddenly realizes Lucifer is up to his old tricks and she needs to stop him before her family and friends get hurt.

I was a little worried when I started that Naomi was with Jeremy who by the way is one of my book boyfriends. You only get a little glimpse of him in the first book but you get to enjoy him a bit more in this one. The chemistry between Naomi and Lash is still as intense as it was in Lash. The book has mild situations since they more or less hint to the act of sex but it's not down and dirty like other books. Honestly I enjoyed it better this way. The story is so wholesome I think it would take something away from it with too much hot and heavy ;) All of the characters are absolutely great and written beautifully. I found myself crying at one part at the end when Naomi is looking down from heaven. I still get all choked up thinking about it. I don't have a favorite character per say but Welita is written just the way you would think a grandmother should be written. I seriously wanted to hug her!

After the Fall is fantastic, I adored the first one and I have to say this one is just as amazing. L.G. Castillo is just a wonderful storyteller and this is a story I can't wait to read more about.

I gave these book 4/5 stars and I highly recommend the series, I can't wait to read Before the Fall to see how it all started.

So,here Lash and Naomi are in Heaven. She archangel, him Seraphim. But that doesn`t matter because they love each other. She is trained for to be a complete archangel and Lash it is with her.

Everything is got complicated when Jeremy it is comes home.Lash, remember something from the past, that Jeremy loved Naomi, and he know those feelings are not gone.He stil hates him and more now.

Some day Lash tells Naomi the truth that he hide from her. She is upset and go on a mission with Jeremy.I hoped that she hind out that she has feelings for gim,but that not happened. And I was so glad.Because that proof me that it is not like that every books that i`ve read.

Anyway, lots a things happened,I`m not saying to much because I will run tha beauty to reveals the book.Lash is captured by Lucifer and her tells him something that will change him and the feelings for family.

I thought that this book it will be the last but the end poof me wrong. And i`m so glad because I want more from this series. It is a wonderful, much beautiful that the first.More action, more chemistry, more love.It is perfect!

"A love that began centuries ago, that not even Time itself could sever from your hearts." -Michael

This series is one of my favorite series so I jumped at the chance to review this sequel after loving the first book, Lash. After the fall follows the aftermath of Naomi's death and her becoming an archangel. In this book, there's more drama, more romance, and more shocking revelations. Though the beginning to me was a bit slow, once it picked up towards the middle, the page turning didn't stop. I loved catching up with my favorite characters and joining them on this new adventure as they go through many more obstacles and make life altering decisions.

"Without you, my heart would go on beating, but my soul would stop living." -Naomi

NAOMI

As Naomi transitions to her new life in Heaven, she finds out that being an angel is not as easy as she thought it would be. She battles with herself as she is put through tough situations and faced with difficult decisions. Most of which have deal with the people she cares about most. She is left not knowing whether to follow her heart or follow orders. While she struggles with her training, she is blind sided with the truth of what occurred in the airplane accident that her dad was involved in as a child. She fights with being heartbroken over the revelation and her love for Lash. Ultimately her love for him wins as she realizes that his actions show how much he cares for others. Unbeknownst to her, her acceptance of the past comes in light of tragedy. She and Lash will need each other now more than ever.

"Lash, I've never felt closer to God than I do when I'm with you. With you, I've learned about faith and forgiveness. I once thought angels were perfect. We're not. But you and I, we are perfect together." -Naomi

"I lived most of my life with a closed heart, never letting anyone in. And then you came into my life…with you, I not only have the love of my life, but I have my family back, too. It's because of you that I've found the strength, the courage to love again. You set me free, and I'm no longer afraid." -Lash

LASH

While Naomi struggles with her training, Lash struggles with the guilt of not following his orders all those years ago and the events that transpired as a result of his actions. Once he decides to come clean to Naomi, he is left depressed, angry, and jealous as Naomi leaves on a mission with Jeremy. He starts fearing the worst. He's afraid of loosing the one person he cares about the most. As he decides to go after her and win her back, he discovers another family secret that was hidden from him for many years since the day he was born. He's left feeling betrayed and with not much time to reflect on this secret as not long after this revelation, he experiences a tragedy close to home. Through this tragedy we see him mature, as he learns to forgive, realizes how lucky he is to have the family that he has, and how powerful unconditional love truly is.

"This was life's purpose, the secret to happiness: love and family." -Lash

"When Jeremy's eyes found hers, she felt a surge of love from that simple look, his love for her, for Lash, for Raphael." -Naomi

JEREMY

In the first book we only see a little bit of Jeremy here and there but when we see him its obvious that he truly loves and cares for his family. In this book, its no different. We get to see much more of him and I loved him even more every time I read a scene where he was included. He's an admirable brother, son, and friend. Throughout the book, Jeremy fights the feelings he has for Naomi in order to not hurt his brother nor her. He struggles everyday by trying to shield these feelings and pretend that nothing's wrong. I really feel like this is Jeremy's book. His actions make him super lovable and just that more awesome. After you read this book, you will completely understand where I'm coming from.

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me." -Jeremy

Overall, I would definitely recommend After The Fall for fans of Lash. If you fell in love with these characters in the first book, you will want to see whats in store for them in this one. Many of the series characters get their happy endings while others don't get such a happy ending but do get what they deserve.

Other Favorite Quotes:

"She closed her eyes as he pressed his lips against hers, kissing them tenderly. And when she opened them, she saw Heaven in his eyes." -Naomi

"Naomi, I've waited for you for centuries. Nothing is going to stop me from making you mine." -Lash

"Ay, Naomi, angels are not perfect. No one is. We are all made in the Lord's image, and He too feels anger, jealousy, so why not his angels? Why not you?" -Welita

I have been waiting for this book since I closed the last page of Lash (Broken Angel, #1) last May. I love to read stories about angels :) Out of all the creatures I love to read about, angels are the ones that still my heart. Reading about Angels opens a whole new world to me. They just have that power to pull me in and completely make me forget of the REAL world. L.G. Castillo delivered once again with this sequel. It was a blast to reunite with Naomi, Lash, Jeremy, Raphael, Rebecca, Uri, Rachel, Gabrielle, Welita, Chuy, Lalo and Bear :)

In After The Fall we follow Naomi and Lash's life in Heaven. After an Epic battle against Lucifer, Naomi is training to become an Archangel. She feels like a part of herself is missing because she can't be close to her family. When Lash's brother, Jeremy, comes back in the picture her relationship with Lash is put to the test and secrets from the past shatter their happiness. Every single character in this book was important for the development of this story. They all had their special part to play to make this a fantastic read. I loved the way we got a peek of what happened to Uri and Rachel. They are so cute together! I love the way they fought for their love. I had a few unanswered questions at the end of LASH, but I got the answers I was looking for in After the Fall. Rebecca and Raphael's story was an emotional one. I even got to like Gabrielle a bit more in After the Fall.

Once again we got to witness an impressive battle between good vs evil. Lucifer and Sal were just despicable and only had one goal in mind: World domination. I liked that in this book we got to have more scenes with Lucifer. I think that is evilness brought and extra something to the book. My emotions were all over the place! I almost broke down when he revealed a few secrets ... Oh. My. God. I was not expecting what he revealed at all!!! I loved all these twists and turns. It made the story even more exciting.

Lash, Naomi and Jeremy were easy to fall in love with. I can't really think of them as a love triangle for the only reason that Naomi and Lash's love is extremely powerful and nothing and nobody could separate them in my eyes. What happened with Jeremy broke my heart and I really wish that he gets his own HEA. Who would not want this sexy Angel around? The relationship between Lash and Jeremy was just beautiful. Both of them learned from their mistakes and found it in their hearts to forgive one another.

We are getting the prequel Before the Fall, which will be released in early spring 2014. OMG!!! It's so far away!!! I can't wait to read what really happened to all these Angels. I am looking forward to this last installment, but I'm still crossing my fingers that Jeremy will get his book. Pretty Please MS. Castillo?!?!

I give After the Fall by L.G. Castillo 4.5 Angels love ruled over Evil stars! This was exactly the kind of story I was expecting from L.G. Castillo. This series is AMAZING!!! I can't get enough of it!

Since Lash and Naomi decided they would be together, and Lash revealed his true nature and his mission to Naomi, a lot has happened. There were losses and gains on both sides . And the hardest thing was Lash having to accept that the old Naomi he knew would never be the same person. Her body , her spirit , her abilities , would be transformed , and the girl he is in love belongs to another man .

How so ? ? ? That freaked everything! !

If you remember well about the previous history where those battalion of angels appearing , some of them are closely linked to Lash past .His memories were erased. But now they return with full force and there is a new threat hanging over Lash's head . Not to mention that he finally reveals how he was involved in the history of her family and Lucifer trying to dominate the world by Senator Joan. It's a lot of excitement ! !

L.G. Castillo knew how to bring the excitement in the right dose. When you think a revelation is bombastic, beware, there is a new one.

Naomi had a process to accept the boy with whom she fell in love was not any human but a seraph who had come to protect her.
Naomi 's family is the most important to her, and now everything can be lost because of the greed of a man ( Man? ? ) .

On the other hand, despite the romance of the two to be going well, Lash is forced to face new facts that had been removed from his memory. He discovers his true family, his history and the worst of all truths : Naomi is not to be his partner. And know he would still have to live close to her .... No, that would be too much .

Lots of action, lots of stops heartbeats, gasps and desire to hit someone to reveal - or hide - so much .

But at the end .... Well, the end still comes with "Before the Fall ". The saga of a family with many secrets to be revealed.

I felt connection with the characters again.
The pace of the story is good. The scenes are well explained and make you shiver. The romance is cute and the end .... Aff .. Again the author made me have tears in my eyes.

Jeremy and Michael ... Wow !!!

Still eager for a Brazilian publisher take the rights of the series!!!

There is a synopsis on Castillo’s website:

There’s a Spanish proverb that says, “From the thorn and the pain, a flower is born.” Naomi Duran never really understood what that meant until she became an archangel.

Finally reunited with the love of her life, Naomi thought she had everlasting love and happiness in Heaven. Even with the rebellious Lash by her side, she learns that life as an archangel isn’t easy.

When secrets of the past are finally revealed, tempers flare, brother is pitted against brother, and Naomi and Lash face the greatest threat to their relationship: choosing among love, family, or duty.

In the end, can this family of broken angels forgive past mistakes, or will they carry the thorn in their hearts forever, ripping their family apart?

The book starts a little while after the ending of book one. Naomi and Lash are enjoying life in Heaven, and Naomi is being trained as the archangel she has become. Just when they are planning a ceremony to bind them to each other for eternity, Naomi is given her first assignment, together with Jeremy. This assignment will bring her close to the family she left behind, and Naomi struggles with the restrictions her new role brings, as well as her yet-to-be-discovered history with Jeremy and Lash.

A lot has happened in the few weeks Naomi has been in Heaven; time moves differently in that realm, and Naomi will learn the consequences of her disappearance for those she left behind. Guilt and a feeling of responsibility compel her to wanting to reach out and help her grandmother and Chuy. We also see more of Jane Sutherland and Luke Prescott, and learn how the fate of all these people are intertwined.

Without given away too much, I can assure you that Castillo has built a complex world of characters, whose connections reach beyond our own time and space. Naomi needs to learn to find the balance between her love for Lash, her task as an archangel, and her human past. A balance which is not always that easy.

Having already devoured Lash, I couldn’t put this book down, and was pleased to learn that the final instalment, Before The Fall, is due for release this March. I recommend getting your hands on books 1 and 2, to complete your set once book 3 comes out – maximize your reading pleasure!

(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to author L. G. Castillo.)
This is book 2 in the ‘Broken Angel’ series, and kicks off a few weeks after the end of book 1 ‘Lash’.
**Warning – some unavoidable spoilers for book 1 ‘Lash’.**
Naomi and Lash are finally together, but Lash has still to reveal his guilty secret concerning Jane Sutherland and Naomi’s father’s death.
Naomi also has much to learn about being an archangel, and it seems that the job may be more than she expected.
Can Naomi forgive Lash when he tells her his secret? Can Naomi make it as an archangel, or does she feel too much? And will there be a happily ever after in story for Lash and Naomi?

This was an interesting sequel, with some unexpected events.

I felt quite sorry for Naomi in this one; having to deal with being away from her family, and then having problems with Lash after he revealed his secret to her. Having this life as an archangel thrust on her couldn’t have been easy, and I thought that she did well to keep going the way she did.

I liked the storyline in this book, although it wasn’t 100% what I was expecting. We got a bit of a trip down memory lane with some explanations about how Lash got himself into the position he was in in the first book, and some continuing tensions between Jeremy and Lash. There were plenty of little twists in this story though, and quite a few unexpected deaths!

There wasn’t a lot of romance in this one, as Lash and Naomi had a bit of a falling out. When we did get a very romantic moment at the end though it was pretty beautiful, and a lovely end to the story.

I am surprised that the final book in this trilogy will actually be a prequel to the first two books, but it will be good to find out about the background that we so far haven’t learned about.
Overall; a good second instalment.
6.75 out of 10.

I was given this book(ARC) in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal).

After her death, Naomi has now to deal with her life as an archangel. But life as an angel with a lot of power is not like most people imagine it, since great power comes always with great responsibility. Will Naomi be able to handle her new status or simply throw everything away?

As I already stated above life as an angel really doesn't seem to be a piece of cake. Everytime doing assignments and then you are not even allowed to do as you please(and save the people you love). In my opinion it seems a little bit like a worst case szenario. After dead you should be granted peace, not more work. But since this is a novel it's probably alright, who would want to read about people, who do almost nothing all day long?(Just forever working.. sounds hard lol)

The good thing is: Finally Lash and Naomi can be together without worrying about breaking rules. They are soo cute together. Simply love them ♥!
Although I have to say, that in my opinion it's a little bit weird for angels to have normal relationships. Aren't angels supposed to be divine creatures, who aren't bound to stuff like earthly relationships?! Well... I love all the couples in this book, so I don't mind. Just overthinking probably.

Actually this book was sooo much more fun than the first one.(and the first one was already great!) So it definitely deserves 5 stars, I'd even give more if it would be possible :)!
I totally love Lash's story and can't wait for the final novel in the series, since we'll get to know more about the stuff that happened to Lash and Naomi before the first novel. I'm totally anticipating this, all of the characters are so great!(Acually I'd prefer to read even more than 3 books with them >.<)

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side!

Firstly I would like to thank L.G Castillo, author of After the Fall, for giving me this wonderful opportunity of reading and reviewing this fantastic book.

I really fell in love with it and drooled over it like a dork while I read about my new crush. Guess who is that? Of course it's LASH, guys! Who else can it be? Well the author didn't leave any option other than loving Lash and I'm sure all the girls out there who read this wonderful book will agree with me.

After the first book I really expected a lot from the second book and I'm really happy to say that the author didn't disappoint me at all rather she surprised me by exceeding my high expectations. I loved the twists ans turns that the story took in this sequel and I'm really waiting for the next book to come.

The emotional tension between the characters is made palpable and heart wrenching by the author and it really spiked my senses. I loved the character Uri too and loved the way the author developed the character.

For me Naomi stole the show, she's just awesome and all you boys out there are going to drool over her, I bet. I really enjoyed the eerie suspense that made me sit at the edge of the chair of four long hours while I kept on reading and reading, not even noticing that I was at the verge of falling down.

The fast-pace and remarkable writing style doubled the value of the book and really spiced the read keeping a firm grip on my interest and attention. I'll definitely recommend it to ya all and would bet that you guys will love it as much as I did.

I seriously don't know what to say about this. After reading the first book, I immediately dove into the second one. Heck, I nearly finished both of them in a day. Luckily, I resisted and ended up having about a quarter left to read.

With Naomi being the seventh archangel, she finally gets a taste of what Lash has been doing for his whole life. Partnered with Jeremy and leaving on bad terms with Lash, Naomi discovers the difficulty of being an angel. The plot thickens and becomes as engaging as ever when Naomi finds out the reason why Lash was kicked out of heaven.

Naomi was assigned to watch over Megan Dalene, a woman who has had a past with Lash. At first, she has troubles with her, but later disappears when her cousin, Chuy comes into the picture. Chuy was a character I favored the most in the previous novel and I was glad to see him in the story once again.

The reason for the two star rating was the ending. It was just plain awful. The ceremony was beyond cheesy and I couldn't help but roll my eyes. What I don't get all was how Jeremy appeared in the ceremony. Didn't he die? I mean, how is he alive? How come all of sudden he is brought back from the dead? The ending was wrapped up too quickly. I wished it could have been a bit open-ended.

Though this didn't meet my expectation, I must say that this was quite addicting. From the fast-paced action, the tension between Lash, Jeremy and Naomi, I simply could't get enough of it. I will, most definitely check out the third book since I am intrigued of their past.

I was given this book by the author during a contest (ARC)
From the beginning this book had me hooked. I was so excited to read it that it took me 3 hours. So here's my review.
Naomi the Archangel in training under Gabrielle. It starts off with Naomi and lash living together and making plans for the future but then Naomi receives her first assignment with Jeremy much to lashes dismay.
lash admits to her that he saved Jane Sutherland as well as her grandfather In the plane. with this Naomi gets very angry and leaves on her assignment with Jeremy without saying goodbye to lash with which destroys lash completely totally heartbreaking part.
After Naomi leaves with Jeremy and finds out who her assignment is she fights with herself to forgive lash or not to forgive.
I think the author wrote a very very very good sequel to the first book and I cannot wait until 2014 when before the fall comes out. if you're into Angels and Demons and love and death I highly recommend reading this book. you will not be disappointed.
My thank you to the author for allowing me the chance to review this book. I will be anticipating the next one

Naomi is an archangel in training. Now her and Lash have forever to be together, and they make plans. But then Naomi is sent on her first assignment with Jeremy, and lots of things happen real fast. Naomi has to choose where she needs to be and who she's fighting for. Lash has to make those decisions too as he finds out some information that is disturbing to him. Jeremy has to teach Naomi how to be a guardian and keep her focus on her assignment, which isn't as easy as it may sound for either of them. It's not easy to be an angel in love.

L.G. had definitely got a hit on her hands. I've never read about angels this way before and I love it! L.G. manages to makes them accessible, so you feel like they do. Great job with this series, that's for sure! I love that the angels can be just as conflicted about what's happening as the rest of us. It is about free will and what you do with it. I really loved the ending, and am looking very much forward to the release of the next book in the series.

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

After reading the first book, I had high expectations for this one. While it wasn't perfect, I still really enjoyed After the Fall. The main problem I had with the first book, was the lack of explanations or closure. I really enjoyed learning more backstory about the characters. I loved the interactions with Naomi and Jeremy too. The overall storyline was really good, and I loved that Naomi's family was brought back in. BUT, I did not like the ending. Again. That seems to be my problem with this trilogy so far. Great books that just fall apart at the end. Even though I didn't like the ending, I will still be reading the final book in the trilogy because I like the characters.

Naomi is in Heaven learning to be an Arch Angel and enjoying her life and love with Lash. As she is prepairing for her first assignment she learns the secret Lash has been keeping about her fathers death. Unable to face him she leaves without saying goodbye, but as her assignment evolves and she is forced to test her faith she must decide if she truely belives in destiny and all things happening for a reason.

Though told primarly from the POV of Naomi you also get to see things from Lash's perspective as well as others helping to give the story depth. I enjoyed seeing things from several POV understanding how each person felt about certain events. As the second in the series you already have an understanding for the characters but I loved how you got to know more of their backgounds and why they are the way they are. Because the last in the trilogy is a prequel, in this one you get to see how things turn out and soon well see how it all started when the final book releases Spring 2014.

Another pretty good book in this series. Again, the writing was not great but I think the characterisation was a lot better this time around and the editing was still pretty good. I still like the story and the creativity behind it - especially once the author answered most of the lingering questions from the first book. It was well paced and didn't take me long to get into. This book in the series focuses a lot more on Lash's angelic family and Naomi's adjustment to living with them instead of her earthly family. I understood Lash's attitude form the first book a lot more once it became clear he really cared about his family even though he didn't always realise it - which was what made getting kicked out so difficult for him. It was also good to meet some new minor characters from Lash's family - Uri is hilarious and made me laugh. Overall, this was a pretty good quick read with an intriguing and interconnected storyline, some sweet mushy romantic stuff, good action bits, and just enough family drama to keep a reader well entertained.

I couldn't even finish it. I stopped at like the 60th page.

The story in the first book wasn't that great, but in this one from what I've read was simply awful.
Cheap drama and stupid reactions/feelings made me so annoying that I just gave up.
It could've been good, I mean, so far all the books I've read with angels in it were interesting. But in this one, it was just ugh.
Angels are supposed to be powerful, warriors, charismatic. But in After The Fall, we have angels who cry all the time and have their little weak hearts broken. That's not how I picture angels and maybe that's the reason why I didn't like this book and didn't even finished it. In my opinion, angels aren't mirrors of humans. They're so much more than them. So, when Naomi became an archangel I was like "wait what, that's not even credible!" And we can see that in the second book. How an angel is supposed to be powerful and fight against evil when he has the heart and the spirit of a human? when he cries over stuffs because of his boyfriend? No. Just.no.

I was given this book by LOP for an honest review. I want to thank the author for the opportunity to review the book.

I liked this one a teeny bit better than Lash...but only a teeny bit.

From the start when I heard Rachel and Uri's flashback story I was like here's the ending. It's either going to be a sacrifice of Lash, Naomi, or Jeremy. When I get to the end, my suspicions were again confirmed. I mean I liked the beginning of the book a lot, but then it lost me when Naomi and Jeremy went to Earth. I was liking the whole love triangle theme, but it started to lack in my eyes. It was like Megan took the place of Naomi in the last book, Chuy was Lash, and her dead aunt was a replica of Naomi's dad dying.

I didn't like how Naomi got overly pissed at Lash's mistake...I don't know I just didn't connect emotionally with her at all.

Overall I give After the fall two and a half stars.

First and foremost let me begin by stating that I received a free copy of the book from the author in exchange for my honest review (LOP R2R). Thank you

I tend to only give 5 star reviews to books that kept my interest to a point that I chose to finish the book rather than sleep. Which is exactly what happen with this story, as soon as I read the first few pages I was hooked. The story had everything: passion, action, a horribly sad background, and sacrifice. I was so upset when the Lake seen happen, I sob like a little girl. I couldn’t stand the selflessness of him and the love he had for his family and it broke my heart. The ending was perfect it left you wanting more, while keeping you completely satisfied. I highly recommend this series. This is one of the few times where I liked the second book better than the first. Love this story, although I’m still annoyed at the Welita nickname LOL.

Great story can’t wait to read the prequel.

The past is slowly being revealed

Lash and Naomi are finally together living in the heavens. Things get tense when Jeremy returns. Jeremy and Lash were close friends, brothers even when Raphael revealed some of their past to them. They were brothers in a past life and they were torn apart by their love for Naomi. If things weren't tense before they are even more tense now as Raphael tells Lash that Jeremy is assigned as Naomis' mentor on her first assignment on earth.
Jealousy consumes Lash at the thought of Jeremy and Naomi together. Will Jeremy's feelings for Naomi interfere with his duty? Naomi loves Lash with all her heart, but when Lash reveals a secret about her father she is shaken to the core. She has to find it deep within herself to forgive Lash if she wants to spend eternity with him.

Naomi Duran is the seventh archangel in training. She's been warned not to seek out her family no matter what she sees. By Naomi's side is Lahash "Lash" as the love of her life. Lash doesn't trust his brother Jeremy for how he looks at Naomi. Jane Sutherland is beginning to realize that something isn't right with Luke Prescott but she's unsure what it is yet. Everything is connected but what are the puzzle pieces. Will Naomi continue to be an archangel? What's Jeremy hiding? Will Jane Sutherland find out what's wrong with Luke Prescott? Find out in After the Fall.

I'm really impressed by this story and characters. From first page to last page I was hooked and had to know how the book ended. The characters and story are complex, honest, raw, down to earth, real, compelling, and mysterious. Definitely looking forward to the next book in the series.

Lash and Naomi’s heart pounding rollercoaster of emotions continues in After The Fall. These two imperfect angels truly captured my heart in the first installment of this series. Yes they got their HEA but...what happens after that? What about the doubts that love to creep in and niggle in the back of your mind? What about the trials that come along and test the dtrength of love for any cpuld? And is it so very differant for two of God’s heavenly beings?
Castillo will continue to blow your mind in this second installment! As much as I enjoy the dtory line itself , obe of my favorite things is rummaging the scebary of heaven and earth as told thru Castillo’s creative mind! I was hooked on this series from the first page of the first book and it just gets better from here! After The Fall is an action packed swoon worthy tale of adventure and romance!

Naomi is an angel, she and Lash live in a little house that Lash built by himself in heaven, and Jeremy's one smoking hot angel. Lash is reunited with his family, and there's all sorts of drama in Heaven again, with angels hiding things from angels and loyalties being tested and evil lurking around.

What's not to like??

It was nice to see all the human characters and get to know better some of the angels that barely made an appearance in the first book. Even the bad guys – I find Luke and Sal strangely appealing. Action packed again and full of tender moments, I really enjoyed After the Fall, even more so than Part 1.

Thank you L.G. Castillo and Lovers of Paranormal for the chance to read this book!

I loved it soooo much. I can't wait for the third book. I really, REALLY wish Jeremy and Naomi we're together but I now know that will never happen :(. I was so sad for what happened to Jeremy but I was sooo happy with the ending for him. Like I say for a lot of books is I HATE CLIFFHANGERS. Why, WHY do people do that it's sad and is killing me inside to find out the whole story of Rebecca, Raphael, and Lucifer. I wonder if Lucifer is coming back or if the antagonist is going to be Sal. It was shocking to find out who Lash "REALLY" is. I can't wait for the third book. I'm going to be one of the very first people to definitely sign up.

A nice conclusion to Lash and Naomi's story first told during the first book in the series, Lash. For some reason I had a much harder time getting into this one than the last. I am hoping it was merely a sophomore slump, and that the next book draws me back into this tale. I really wanted to love this one, but the story felt a bit forced and not as fluid as Lash did. I missed the main characters from book one who seemed like minor players in this one.

All in all a good solid book with an ending neatly tied up in a bow.

I was given this book to read for an honest review from the group LOP and the author LG Castillo>

This book is by far so much better then the 1st one. We already know the characters so we got to enjoy the actual story! This book made me laugh, made me cry and was overall just really really good! There isn't all that much that I would change at all, maybe speed it up a little bit. Overall this book was very well laid out, was very well written and was a very good read.

Thank you for given me the opportunity to read and review this book!

Good

I ended up reading the series because the first book was in a collection I read from kindle unlimited. I enjoyed it and decided to read the next book. I am glad I did, I enjoy the characters, especially bear!! It is a nice change when angels are not perfect while still staying strong in faith.
