Oh my goodness, this series continues to be a dumpster fire times ten, but I love it! LOL!
Hatori is such a hot mess, but her struggles (and delusions) definitely reminded me sometimes a little TOO much of high school me and make me internally cringe, but also laugh quite a bit. Koda EXCELS at portraying Hatori with the funniest and most outrageous expressions that this volume was just as much a turn-pager as the last one! Honestly, I felt bad at times for Hatori with all the emotional whiplash she goes through and have no idea what she is going to do in future volumes, but I still hope she will remain hopeful. I'm still very much wanting her and Rita to be a couple even if I have no idea how they could even get there right now! (I mean, her new idea COULD work even though I'm already like "no, please don't…" LOL)
I was surprised by how much I liked the new love rival! I actually like him a lot more than Adachi, who sort of rubs me the wrong way at times. I genuinely don't understand why she cares so much for Hatori, even though I was glad that in that one situation, Adachi's words rang loud and clear in Hatori's mind. (Also going to mark this as a spoiler, but )
I'm definitely eager, desperate, and excited for volume three! With the unfolding of upcoming events, it's sure to be anything but boring! LOL!
Also, Nakajima continues to be the real MVP in this series! LOL! I love her!
Hatori remains messy and entertaining. However, I'm getting frustrated with the series. Rita is so not worth all that. Like Hiromitsu has said, Hatori is more into being the girl who's in love with Rita for years than actually getting together with him. It's sad watching her constantly humiliate herself like that. At this point, I don't want her to ever date Rita. I need her to develop some self-esteem and realize there's more to life than this boy who's not even that great.

Such a fun read. I'm looking forward to volume 3. Honestly Nakajima is my favourite character so far lol. I also love that Io Sakisaka collaborated on chapter 7.
Edit 11/2017: After finishing the series, I've decided that I no longer recommend this work. Explanation in my review of volume 1.
I loved it, of course, even though it walked too fine of a line between "yes, Sylwia, your anti-shipping dreams continue and they will not be together" and "omg are they about to get together no please no please keep them apart". What I mean is, it made me nervous. But that's good! This continues to be the most fun I've ever had NOT wanting two characters to get together. I look forward to reading more.
I disegni son generalmente bruttini.
Però si legge molto velocemente... E ormai ho tutti i volumi a casa...
The dreaded love triangle has begun… This series is ALL about the “romance drama”. These characters almost don’t care about anything else. They hardly seem “real”… Hiromitsu likes basketball? Hatori likes dogs? So does Rita? Adachi is nice and ??? See??? We don’t know anything about these characters!!!! It’s all about the drama..
I, still waiting for some possible character development for the female lead. And when she does get a characteristic development, I’m hoping for her to have real purpose of life and dream. It doesn’t matter what, just something.and maybe a hobby.
bruh that ending, kinda lost me there. rita should rlly put his foot down or something, everyone’s so unseriously serious (?) lolol characs are a bit annoying now, esp hatori.
and oof i feel the second lead syndrome coming… rita who

Our lovesick, monomaniacal weirdo of a main character has found a new love, in the form of a(nother) class playboy, Hiromitsu. Or has she? She can't seem to think about anything but Rita, no matter what she does.
I read the first volume of this manga twice, because I didn't know what to make of it. I think I have a better idea now, maybe? Or maybe not? It's kind of cool not having a good bead on every single character and what makes them tick from the first page they show up. As the story goes along, we're getting a better idea--though not a perfect one--of the faces behind the masks of the various classmates Hatori is dealing with.
Hatori's all too relatable, sometimes, and it's all too easy to laugh at somebody who is all but my past self (less being conventionally attractive), with her long-standing unrequited crush, flailing moral compass, self-centered approach to dealing with people, complete inability to maintain a poker face (and thus being very easy to manipulate and play games with), etc. Laughing is much more pleasant than constantly cringing.
Now that I have a better idea of what this manga is going for, I'm looking forward to seeing more of it. I'll definitely be picking up the next one.
Again, laughed a lot! Definitely a good and different comedy.
Although I did have a few moments with teary eyes... I just understand so much Hatori's feelings, and I hurt when she hurts.
A big shout out to her best friend who shows up randomly and is ''tough love'' with her (I'm definitely that type of friend).
I'm giving it a 4 stars though because I'm not comfortable with the situation she's utting herself in: loving a guy who said he didnt love her and still pine for him as if he's some god or whatever... I just tink it's silly. Even if I realize that stopping to love someone isnt as easy as it may sound, I think it's still the best solution if you want to keep some self-love.
Which means I kind of agree with Hiromitsu's way of thinking....
