Bob has written and published fifteen books and has had stories and poems appear in many journals and anthologies. He has won the Napa College award for Prose. and the Lincoln international award for poetry. The retired teacher lives with his wife/muse in the Napa Valley. Despite having Parkinson’s disease, he writes every day. His last publication was White Fox Blues.

Finding Shelter from the Cold takes place in the last of the Ice Ages. It is about the interaction between man and wolves during that challenging period. From the encounters both species change. The point of view moves from the wolf to man in different chapters. It is a highly recommended book for young adults and dog lovers.
