After one too many requests to read the same collection of small board books over and over and OVER, repeatedly on the same night, every night, I've started reading "big books" to my toddler at bedtime in hopes he will get bored and drift off. This book has done the trick. He is obsessed with cars & trucks & things that move, so is immediately attracted to this book. Some of the stories are very graphic & quick to read, while others are more wordy, so we work our way up to those. it's an odd assortment, and some go down better than others. The one about the old guy with the snowplow is just awful, but effective in boring the boy right to sleep so...hooray?
Awesome collection of stories with vehicles along with monsters, dinos, Curious George, sheep, a pug, and others! One of my son's favorites. FYI, a couple of stories are more than 5 minutes.
