I’m a fun-loving, down-to-earth kind of chick who loves to laugh, smile, and have a good time. Born in Allentown, Pennsylvania in September 1979, I’m a true East Coast girl who loves the mountains and the beach. In Spring 2012, I became an avid reader and since have read over 300 books ranging across genres, primarily focused on romance and paranormal. Simply put, reading is my escape, a way for me to turn off the outside world and get lost in a new one. I’ve found a true love in reading and writing, and I never imagined I’d be where I am today. When I started writing my first novel in June 2013, I was anxious to see where my journey would take me. Becoming an author has been a dream come true. This is more than just a hobby for me, it’s my passion!!

Review
I was utterly captivated when I first started reading this book.  I loved the beginning and following the angst Emma was going through with her husband, Keith.  I kept second guessing what the douche-bag was up to and a few times, I was steered wrong….but when I finally realized what he was doing to double cross Emma, man I wanted nothing but death to be knocking on his door.

I lived through Emma, I felt her pain and the trauma she experienced in life.  The author had a way of drawing me into the story and experience what Emma was going through.  It was amazing……until…..

I’m sorry – I don’t know if I’ve been in a funk lately but I had such high hopes for a 5 Star rating.  I think the second part of the book was a bit too unreal with Emma and Pete’s story.  I get that she deserved a happy experience and I get that both of them were trying to keep everything together as just “friends” but it was all “unicorns and rainbows” for them.  I don’t know of any relationship, whether friendship or lovers who don’t experience a few bumps in the road.

I would have been sold if maybe they just had one “take a second to rethink this” moment between them.

Re-Cap
Emma is married to an asshole…but she has tried everything to keep her marriage together and make everyone in her life happy without ever putting herself first.  Things then start to change in her marriage and Keith is starting to respond to her and Emma starts to believe in love again.

Then a sudden trauma sets Emma and her brother back while Keith takes the reins and heads up the family business.  Again, Emma is full of sadness as she loses her husband to his job and also loses her brother, Riley, for standing by her husband.  Things start to look fishy to Emma and she starts a little digging while Keith is away on business.  What Emma finds is sure to put a wedge between all parties involved.

Fast-forward to divorce and Emma is in Boston to start her life over again.  Riley and Char take Emma under their wings and teach her how to live again by putting herself first.  Pete on the other hand is just coming out of a terrible relationship and can’t stand the sight of any woman….well that is until he sets his eyes on Emma……

Wrap-Up
I loved the beginning…..the second part was OK but all in all it was a good read and I would recommend it to anyone who love a bit of suspense in their romance!

Touched by Another (Touch #3) by T.H. Snyder

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Lately Emma McIntyre has been pretending to live the life of a perfect wife while her husband Keith takes control over her family business. With the loss of her parents to a tragic car accident and a fight that causes her brother, Riley, to move out of state Emma chooses to stand by her husband.

While sorting out her parent’s estate, Emma stumbles across a few hidden secrets that she suspects Keith has kept her from. Heartbroken Emma turns to her brother for support, hoping to also rekindle their own broken relationship. During a visit to Boston Emma finds herself reacting to a complete stranger when he is willing to comfort her and listen to her pain.

Is Emma ready to move on with her life and leave the hurt of her failing marriage behind? Will Emma fight the urge to fall once she has been Touched by Another?

The wait is finally over! As soon as this hit my kindle I knew that I had to pull a “late nighter” just to be able to finish this one. I have missed this group of book buddies, Derrick, Chloe, Riley, and Char. And now we finally get to read Emma’s story! This book holds an appeal for an age group 30-40 year olds unlike the rest of the characters. Emma is nearing 40 but needs a change in her life. After failed attempts for a baby, and a failing marriage Emma needs to move on.

“I was living a life where there was no happiness, desperate to find that one person who would make me feel whole again.”

Emma leaves Greensboro, North Carolina in hopes that Boston will help her to start again, in the company of her brother, Riley, and new friends. Those that are familiar with the Touch series will be happy to read more scenes with Riley, Char, Derrick, and Chloe. Familiar scenes from previous books are told from another side and not repeated but you will welcome them back. I started to wonder how hard would it be to recreate scenes that you have already written but from another perspective and to remember the details. It’s nice to see Emma move on and try to reinvent her life away from Keith.
This is the third book in the series and does a nice job of tying up loose ends. I would highly recommend reading the other books in the Touch series prior reading this one so you have an understanding for the other characters in the book. The author does a good job of writing a nice light read, without too much drama. This is an easy read that flows nicely and tells a story of love, new beginnings and friendship.
Lucky for fans of the Touch series, this isn’t the end of the Boston gang of friends! Look for the final book in the series, You’ve Been Touched, out on 2/14/14. I would like to thank T.H. Snyder for the opportunity to read and review her book. I have enjoyed this series from the start and this didn’t disappoint.

Touched by Another is amazing, it's a tie now between the first an third book as to which I love the most.

I was thrilled to get to Emma's story, it's a very emotional tale, I'm sure everyone who reads it can connect with her emotionally at one point or another.

Emma is unbelievably strong, she's suffered so much loss followed by the betrayal of her husband.

“I was living a life where there was no happiness, desperate to find that one person who would make me feel whole again.” - honestly I've been there and I wish I had been as strong as she was in this book!

After reconnecting with her brother Riley she moves to Boston to start her life over near Riley and Char, who have a job waiting for her and a place to stay. Emma's introduced to Derrick and Pete and they all begin to develop friendships. Derrick is her roommate, suffering from a recent split with his girlfriend and Pete is trying to get over his ex as well, they are three peas in a pod and exactly what each other need for support.

I don't do spoilers, I hate them so I don't post them, but this book is a must read, it's honest, emotional and true to life. I love Emma, I didn't think any of the books to compare to Riley & Char but this ones down right close.

Emma's story is truly amazing, I would highly recommend reading this book!

Awww... perfect! great addition to my favorite series. Touch #3 did not disappoint and so worth the wait. Touched by Another made me feel all sorts of emotions, laughter being number one. there was also heartache, loss, deception, lies, but most of all a second chance love. Emma a.k.a Belle was simply a loving and honest woman who really wanted to make her dwindling marriage with Keith, her manipulative husband work. After she suffers through a tragic loss in the family and heartache of losing the connection with her brother Riley, she finds out the truth about her lying, scheming husband. She decides its time for a change and moves to Boston to be closer to Riley and meets the whole gang, plus her second chance at romance. Pete is at once smitten but once bitten by an Ex. His patience wins the prize, Belle. So great to catch up with the whole gang again and to see them come together as a close knit family. Char, Riley, Derrick, Chloe, Emma, Pete, and let us not forget the main star MANNY. loved it t. h. Snyder thanks so much.

This is book 3 in the Touch Me series. In book 1 we got to read the amazing story of Char and Riley, book 2 we found true love does exist with Derrick and Chloe, in book 3 we get to find out the story of Emma and Pete.

Emma, we were previously introduced to her in book 1 as RIley's sister. Man am I glad she got her own story. I have a whole new insight to why she did what she did in book 1. I can't say I was a huge fan of hers after the way she shut Riley out. Even in book 2 when everyone when she became more involved in the story, I just wasn't feeling her character. I mean how could she act the way she did to her own brother Yes, they were 10 years apart, but that is no reason to shun out your own blood. I got a whole new insight to Emma in her story. And I grew to love her just as much as I did Char. Emma is such a sweet girl. Well I say girl but she is a grown women. After leaving her husband in book 2 she left her whole life behind and moved to Boston with her brother. Emma was lost, she thought she would never love again after all, Kevin was the love of her life.. So after things didn't work out how could she possibly give anyone else the chance.

Pete, all we know about Pete coming into this book is he was a long time family friend, and had worked closely at the construction company for years. Even watched the girls grow older. He too is also trying to get out of the funk. After his girlfriend of 4 years cheats on him, he is done. He has lost all faith in women. If she wanted more why didn't she just say so, or if she was unhappy why couldn't she tell me instead of screwing around? He knew he and a problem of communication with his ex. Of course when someone is screwed up it is hardwired in our brains somewhere to believe they are all the same and it will never change no matter who you are with. This is his true belief, until he lays eyes on her. From the first night she showed up at the house he knew there was something special about her. He couldn't take his eyes off of her. The only thing he knows know is he has get closer to her. Just a little time alone with her to talk, to find out more about her. He has to have it....

This was a great story. Not just about true love and love at first sight But about 2nd chance love. Both Emma and Pete had been in previous relationships, and even Emma married. This just goes to show you we all don't find our prince charming our first go around. They aren't your young high school couple, they are older experienced adults living their lives trying to get by day by day after they were screwed over by their exes. Nothing like a little dose of reality to bring us in to the story deeper. Not everyone finds their true love in high school or on their first attempt. Sometimes you just have to wait and you never know when love is right around the corner! After reading Touch me, Touched By You, and Touched By Another, I am truly in Love with T.H. Snyder's work. I am watching her work and can't wait for You've been Touched to be released. Even though this ended with a HEA I can't wait for it to come out. I just wish it was out already. Well I guess I will have to wait, and I guess it will give me time to get over my book hangover again. Which seems to keep happening when I read her work. So go now and catch up with this series if you haven't yet. I highly recommend reading this series.

Touched by another is the third book in the touch series. This is Emma and Pete's story. I would give this a solid 4 stars! It was really well written and it can be read as a standalone but I would suggest getting the first 2 books as well because you don't wanna miss Char and Riley's story and Derrick and Chloe's story.
Yes you will get more of the dynamic four that started this series too!

Emma is Riley's sister and she has been through the ringer with her marriage and she has had the devastating loss of her parents. She moves to Boston to get away from it all and promises to put her self first before anyone else. She isn't looking for love because that just ends in disappointment. What she thinks is a friendship she builds with Pete will slowly turn in to more than she asked for and will she be ready?

Emma- After ten years of marriage, I can't believe things are happening the way they are between us. When we said our vows all those years ago, I imagined it would be forever. I never thought I'd be in the situation I am right now.

I deserve better.
I want to be happy again.
I'm worth so much more than the life he's taken away from me.

I don't know what will happen next-- or where my journey will take me-- but for right now I'm heading to Boston; its where my support system is located.

Pete is a long time of friend of Derrick and Char and he just got out of a relation ship with a woman who cheated on him. He doesn't have the time for another woman to break his heart or the strength. Will his world get turned upside down when Emma comes into being not only the best friend he's ever had but can he let his guard down and open to more?\

Pete- "Nope, not gonna do that again. I need some time for me. If--and I do mean if-- a girl comes along, I'll just keep on walking, No, better yet, I'll start running in the other direction."

I don't know what it is about this girl, but damn it I want to find out.
I want to spend more time with her.
I want to know more about her.

Times like this really put things into perspective for a person. Emma means the world to me and in a short time she has shown me what it means to truly love another person.

Thanks for a great story and can't wait to read more from T.H. Snyder!

T.H. Snyder has done it again. I fall more in love with this series the more I read it. It’s just amazing. Every character in the series will capture your heart.

I was instantly consumed by this book; as soon as I started I never wanted to put it down for a second. I fell in love with Pete at the end of Touched by You and this book only made me fall that much more in love with him.

I adored Emma. My heart broke for her more than once while reading her story. She endured so much heartache at the hands of her husband and it killed me. Let me add I totally did not like him at all because of the way he treats Emma and the lies that he tells. I enjoyed reading and watching Emma to grow and become the strong woman I knew she was. She deserved better and it brought a smile to my face when she realized it and took steps to get her independence back. She was remarkable.

Pete, Pete, Oh Pete! I was instantly in love with this man, I adore him. He was so sweet, caring, and such a gentleman. You can’t help but adore him. I loved that even though a bad relationship left him never wanting to love another woman again he still couldn’t deny his pull to Emma. He took such good care of her and never pushed her, he just let things fall where they fell and held her hand through it all. He just tugs at your heart strings through the whole book.

I loved Emma and Pete’s story. It’s absolutely beautiful and just perfect.

This review is from: Touched By Another (Touch Series) (Kindle Edition)
I was so excited to finally read Emma's story. T.H. Snyder did and amazing job on bring Emma's story to life, we get some background of Emma's side of the fall out with Riley that we first read about in book 1 TOUCH ME ( Riley and Char's story ). So Emma was married to Keith who she thought was the Love of her Life, they have been together since they were in school. 10 years married a strain on their marrage due to infertility then the accident which she has to deal with the loss of both parents. After a failed marriage she is ready to start a new chapter in her life so she Moves to Boston where her Brother lives and start a new life with new friends and become a tight knit family. Pete has come out of a bad relationship and vows No more women, he is ready to be single, that is until he sets eyes on Emma. They become friend and help to get through the hurts from their pass. Follow their journey in becoming friends, learning to trust and to never take things for granted. Emma finally finds her SOUL MATE. I ready enjoyed this story. If you have not read TOUCH ME and TOUCHED BY YOU, you should as they are book 1 & 2 it will help to understand the story better and meet all the charaters. I cant wait for the next book in the series YOU'VE BEEN TOUCHED

Series: Touch, #3
Category /Genre: Contemporary Romance
Received from: t.h. Snyder (in exchange for an honest review)
Recommended for: 18+, due to sexual content
Grammar/editing: C – average writing, probably self-edited

This is the third book in the Touch series. These books should be read in order.

Riley's sister, Emma, was a good wife, but she is no man's doormat. When she discovers the betrayal of her husband, she pulls on her big-girl panties and creates a new life for herself. She moves to Boston to spend time with her brother, Riley. She wasn't looking to move on, yet. Sometimes, fate has other ideas and the moving on is looking for you.

I love seeing Ms. Snyder emerging as an author. Her third book in this series shows her growth in her chosen career and she is deserving of applause! Once again, this book parallels the other two in the series, but is absolutely not a retelling. This is its own story. Because Emma and Pete are in their late 30s, there is an added appeal to those of us past our 20s. The added maturity is the unique factor in this story, but there is still the playful banter between all of the friends and family in this group. I love, love, love Pete's nickname for Emma.

Yea! There is a fourth book coming for this series. Soon, we'll be attacking YOU'VE BEEN TOUCHED. I see a sleepless night in my future!

This book is book 3 from T.H. Snyder's Touch series ,,, this is a great series ,,, great characters and believe able story lines :)

T.h. Snyder has done a great job with this series and again this book is really good

This book is Pete and Emma's story ,,, you will get the background from Emma with this book and will clear up a few things you'd have already read in the previous books ,,, you'll find out what a total douche her husband is too

Pete is a totally sweetie and comes into Emma's life at the perfect time ,,, they are both in need of the other even if maybe they don't want to admit it straight away

Things take time and because of the events that took place in both of their lives prior to meeting it's definitely a hood thing to stay friends rather than jumping into anything

You will read things for the previous books but they will be from Emma and Pete's POV

This book just makes me feel the hope that although things in life don't always pan out how we would like there is always a life to live beyond pain and hurt and maybe in time someday the happiness will come back into that life and may even be better than it was ever thought possible :)

Highly recommend this one peeps :)

This is the third book in this series and gives us the story of Emma and Pete. In this third book you get to see a little bit of how life was before Emma & Riley's mom & dad died. We also get to see what was going on from Emma's point of view before the big fight with her brother I think this book expands on that fight by showing us what happened leading up to that fight. We also find out in this book what occurred to allow Riley's control of his family company and what Emma did to help him get it back. That all happens in the first half of the book in the second half we see what happens to Emma after this all occurs and what exactly is happening with her and Pete. My only thing about his book is I kept waiting for Emma's husband Keith to do something to her after it was all said and done. After all he puts her through I kinda thought he would pop back up later in the book. Other than that it is a great love story that reminds us to never give up on love. I would recommend this book to anyone

This is the third book in the authors Touched series. It CAN be read as a standalone, however to fully appreciate this book I would suggest strongly you read the first two books.

I love the way the author has written this series, but in particular books two and three. In each book she concentrates on one specific couple. This book is about Emma, Riley's sister, and her husband Keith.

Having read the other books I knew a little about Emma from Riley's POV, but reading the story from Emma's POV showed that for every story you need to know both sides to fully appreciate what's going on.

Due to having some of the main story in common, there is a lot of overlap in the latter half of the book. But again the way the author does this means you don't get bored. Instead you gain far more insight into those moments.

This, if I'm honest, is my favourite book of the series. It finishes it off extremely well. I was delighted to see that there is a final part, coming very soon. I cannot wait to read it.

The story of Touched By Another is filled with emotion, that I've recently felt in my own life. In many ways I was able to pour my heart and soul into the hurt and pain Emma was facing. She was dealt a bad hand with her husband Keith and doubted herself and the decisions she needed to make.

Once she felt her strength she was able to overcome a huge obstacle and stand up for herself and her family. She is a loving, caring and honest woman that just wanted to make her husband happy. Leaving the only life she knew behind, she ventures to Boston to start over in a new city with new friends. It doesn't take Emma long to fit right in and before she can blink and eye she meets a man that will change her life forever.

Touched By Another is a story that anyone can relate to and I'm sure we've all run into a few situations that are explored through the pages.

I hope y'all enjoy reading it as much as I did writing it.

Love,

Another great addition to this series! This author writes the most beautiful stories with the most lovable characters. This story includes some of what happened in the last book but in a way more detailed way so it doesn't feel like you are re-reading the same story.

This book includes all of the same characters but now we are given a better view of Emma's life and heartbreak. I really love her and felt for her while she tried to be a good wife and give her idiot husband the benefit of the doubt. She went so far as to believe her husband, Keith, who never gave her much of a reason to even trust him, over her brother who she loved and cared for unconditionally and ended up coming close to losing a relationship with the only family she had left. I was so glad when she finally stood up to Keith and did what she had to do for herself.

I really love these very sweet and touching love stories that this author writes and I will definitely be reading more from her in the future!

What a great addition to the Touch Series! I have to say that I truly love the characters in these books! Touched by Another features Riley's sister Emma. Her 10 year marriage is on the rocks after years of trying to have a kid, the loss of her parents and uncovering the truth about her lying husband.

Riley convinces Emma to move to Boston to make a fresh start and it turns out to be just what she needs! Emma meets Pete and the two of them become really good friends. They have both been burned in the past but are very strong characters. They actually take their time getting to know each other rather than just jumping into a relationship. It then becomes clear that these two are just meant to be together!

I love that this story takes place alongside Riley and Char's story. You can relate to the events and it all comes together perfectly!

Emma thought she was living her forever after.
Then comes a tragic accident that will help change her life for at that time the worse but turns out to be for the better.
Now having to start fresh, in a new city, make new friends and to try and move on from all the hurt, Emma meets someone who helps her remember that she is still a beautiful woman who is entitled to live her life.
Pete insisted he was swearing off relationships of any kind with women, then he met Emma and man did his world change.
Together they heal and move forward, they touch each other in like a soul mate would, they were meant to be.
TH did a great job with this book, and can't wait to see what she comes up with next.

Touched By Another was a wonderful continuation of this series. It really takes you on an emotional journey. I loved getting Emma's story She goes through marriage troubles, the loss of her parents, the emotional then physical separation from her brother and then the end of her marriage. She finds her own strength and moves on. Then she meets Pete. Their friendship begins and later blossoms into a possible second chance for them both. I can't wait for the last book to get more of this family that I have grown to love.

This book was AMAZING. I love this series. I just love Emma and Pete. Emma is a very strong and fun woman. The things she goes through, with not being able to get pregnant, then her parents die in a car crash and then finds out about what her husband has been doing. She leaves him and fixes what her husband messed up. She moves from SC to Boston to be by her brother so that she can start over and get back to being herself. She meets Pete her first night there, they become great friends. I love how the characters progressed. I could not put this story down.

I had been patiently waiting for Emma's story and was so excited to receive in ARC. We had discovered little pieces of Emma's story in the other touch stories and I was anxious to see where this one lead. It did not disappoint, I was so glad when Emma finally was strong enough to leave that lousy husband of hers and the ending was exactly what I had hoped for. I would recommend to everyone, however I would read the other books in this series first.

Family is the key to everything. Emma is a strong minded person. She's been put through so much, and by someone that claimed he loved her. Pete is a kind and caring man. He's been stomped in the ground by the person he thought he loved. This is a well written story. Strangers turn bestfriends overnight. I love how Emma handles herself. She don't let the emotional turmoil take control of her life. I love how everything happens so easily. It just works. I am sad to think there's only one more.

T H Snyder has done it again. She has written another amazing story.

Once I started reading, there was no stopping me. The pace the story moved along was fantastic, the characters are fantastic and the story was amazing.

I am looking forward to reading what this talented author has in store for us next.

Amazing author, amazing book.

This book was an awesome addition to the Touch series. I really enjoyed this book. I loved the relationship with Emma and Pete. This book hit home to me. Emma had a bad relationship before and she thought he was her forever. Pete went there a lot also. I just loved it!!

After reading the first two books in the series, how could I not want to know Emma's story? She is a stronger woman that she gives herself credit for. I was so proud of her throughout this book and very happy with the ending of it. I simply cannot wait until the next book in the series comes out.
