I’ve been charmed by Shungite. I stumbled upon in a few times in January 2018, and when I found this book knew that there was something really special about this life giving stone. I’m acquiring all different forms of Shungite for home, work and friends and family. Gratitude.

This book details the protective properties of Shungite, established through considerable independent research. Can we trust this research in a world where so much science is manipulated? I think this statement from the book answers that query: "Russian researchers were able to profit from their relative isolation by developing scientific research independently while retaining the disinterested curiosity of legitimate scientists. In Europe and the United States it is more difficult to find serious and independent medical studies aimed at proving the viability of natural remedies that cannot be turned into a profitable monopoly."

In a world increasingly bombarded with health damaging chemicals and radiation, this book offers evidence of one viable way to protect ourselves.

I was led to believe this book would give me more information and deeper understanding of shungite, that's not readily available on the internet... However, I ended up with a book that's basically the written form of a random conversation the author is having with a person who has no previous notions on spirituality and/or minerals, crystals...etc. The authors write many concluded statements that are supposed to be "research" or "studies" with ZERO citations. The book is is 70% random rambling about various opinions and personal experiences of the author and maybe a generous 30% about shungite (of which, nothing that you couldn't find the answer to within a 3 minute google search. What a waste of money! This should've been a blog article, not a book!

A lot of the content should be taken with a grain of salt, especially considering the author did not include many citations and her content and examples were mainly from personal experiments. However, I thought this book was an easy-to-follow, well-constructed, and informative book on using Shungite for healing purposes. Would definitely recommend! (It was so interesting, I read it in one sitting!)

An interesting and informative book, in light of the fact that there isn't really any other. However, I should have liked to read more details on the exact methods, set-ups, ways of measurement, results, etc. of the various experiments conducted; in other words, precise where, when, how many, who's and how's. These descriptions I often found to be somewhat washed over.
