One of the best books I've seen on any art history period. It's high quality, easy to read yet very informative, but gorgeous. I got this for my medieval art class, but even someone who just liked the time period would find it fascinating.
The pages are glossy and the pictures and information are something for the eye to behold.

Yes, I'm adding a textbook to my goodreads. Possibly the best art history book I have ever seen, and gave me a major lead on my Jerusalem project.
