I got this for free on stuff your kindle day and when I saw it was only 64 pages I immediately thought it was just spice and nothing else. Wrong. Honestly if Liam and Emily had a full length book I’d eat it up. They were so cute…and spicy af 🥵

This was the perfect, smutty little palette cleanser. It's only 64 pages but honestly if Adele Knight decided to rewrite this as a full length book I'd read it 100%. Saying that, for how short it is I really did feel as though we got a full length story packed in there. You can't really go wrong with this one.

I received a copy of this from Booksprout to review. It's a short story, though they ccall the scenes chapters. It's very hot. The main character is rooming with Liam , her best friend and platonic friend. She dumps her boyfriend and in a drunken moment kisses Liam, and wakes up thinking it's a mistake...but it's not. It gave Liam the push to tell her what he wants and to act on it. A very steamy ready with a HEA>

Everything changes in one night, one electrifying moment! The tension and heat in this book were absolutely palpable, and Savannah and Teddy Hamilton once again outdid themselves. They are masters at conveying chemistry. This is my second audiobook from Adele Knight, and I'm loving her signature pattern: quick-hit, friends-to-lovers stories that are full of fun spice. Liam and that club scene... Yes, please! "EVERY TIME..." I am swooning... IYKYK. This was a super quick, perfectly distracting listen for tackling my to-do list, and it was absolutely worth every second."

3.5⭐️ This was exactly what I expected a short, fun, smutty novella with Teddy in my ear holes.
It’s perfect if you want to spice up some chores (I listened while making dinner and honestly had a great time). The narration was stellar and really added to the experience. It’s narrated in duet by the way!!!
It’s not meant to be a full, fleshed-out story just a quick, entertaining listen to pass the time. If you go in with those expectations, I think you’ll enjoy it. I mean, I don’t know about you guys, but I love when Teddy talks dirty to me 🤭

This is a fairly straightforward quick read. Things move along quickly, with the entire book occurring in the space of maybe 36 hours.

I like this and was entertained by it even though we don't get to know much about Liam and Emily. This erotic romance is along the lines of an instalove scenario, except they've been lifelong friends, and one of them has had a crush on the other for many years.
I read along with the audio book. I love the narrators, Teddy Hamilton and Savannah Peachwood. Add that they are in duet, and I'm even happier. 🎧💜🎧

This was so much fun! Very short, very spicy, and just what I wanted. I admit that I felt like it wasn’t as good as the second book, but that is probably because I read the book on my kindle instead of splurging for the audiobook…

Such a simple smutty read. It has a bit of plot but it's pretty short so not a lot of plot while having smut if that's what you're looking to read.

I picked this book up on one of the stuff your kindle days and it did not disappoint. For such a short book I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. If anything, I was expecting just bad smut lmao. If this were made into a full length book I’d read it again! The plot and spice were balanced really well for just 76 pages. Of course it was fast paced for how short the length was, but I would’ve have loved if it was longer. I’m such a sucker for friends to lovers and this book accomplishes that fast, short, and spicily! If anyone is interested in a quick spicy read, I’d recommend this! I’d rate this 4🌶️.

Honestly, this wasn't bad! Probably closer to 3.5 stars for me, but rounding up felt right.
I was specifically looking for a quick novella to get me out of a book slump and I stumbled onto this one! And this novella is very short at about 60 pages, even for novella standards. But in 60 pages I ended up really liking Liam and felt that Emily was fine, maybe a little dense, but not horrible.
To be honest, if this author decided to take this novella and expand on it and write a full length story, I'd read it again in a heartbeat. There was a enough good here that I was plenty happy with and I'd love to see more of the tension build up between the main characters. Also would LOVE Liam's POV. Now I'm basically just begging Adele Knight to write a novel with Liam and Emily.
And gosh, I do love the friends to lovers trope!
