I’ve been so tired and distracted recently I just couldn’t get into it. I was reading but not retaining anything so I had to stop. I’ll try again when my brain is working. Didn’t feel fair to rate it based off my poor brain functioning.

4.5 stars. Ron was a side character but this is one of my favorite Ron’s in all the Dramiones I’ve read so far. Another good Theo.

I loved this one start to finish. I genuinely didn’t want it to end and this author did such an amazing job of grounded, relatable writing and yet somehow constructing intricate webs of the problems and solutions that would come full circle (like Draco moving to Switzerland in the end to get off the island).
While neither Draco or Hermione were my favourite versions ever written in fanfiction, this fic hit all the right tropes and notes. Theo was perfect and heartbreaking and beautiful in this. From the start with the mysteries that Hermione was given to solve regarding the dark mark and the dark energy at hogwarts, this one had just the right amount of mystery and true comfort.
The premise was genius- I loved Hermione spending time with and falling in love (in different ways) with Theo and Draco.
Draco of course remained his perfect Slytherin but oh so in love self and I especially enjoyed that Ron was a decent and smart guy in this. The supporting cast of characters were brilliant from journalist Luna to healer Padma and meddling potter girlfriend Pavarti.
Honestly in my top 10 fics and so well written. Felt like my favourite book I didn’t want to end.
