Cute little quick read on Ice Cream and Sorbets. If you’re looking for just recipes this is not the book for you. It is more a quick intro to the history of ice cream, sorbets, and ices with examples. There are sections on spices, fruits, and chocolate that give historical context and some recipes for each one. I found some new to me recipes that are actually over 100 years old that I really want to try as well as inspiration to make my own flavors.
