Finished this book in a tropical setting with tears in my eyes, stunned at the beautiful story I had enjoyed. This is a tale of discovery, a story within a story, and while it jumps between past and present, you cannot help but enjoy the ride. Very well done, indeed!

fantastic story about Patty’s life

I loved reading about the life Patty had. It was such an imaginative story and I stayed up way too late to finish it because I couldn’t stop. I am going to be devastated when this series ends.

Ok

Not one of my favorites. So far, every other one had been great, and this one wasn't bad, it just didn't match the others. Partly because some parts seemed highly unlikely. Some of Patty's past I understand her not talking to her daughter about, but some things, I don't see how it why, she hid.

Life holds surprises always. This book of the series is truly sad, yet full of joy all at the same time. Thank you, Stephanie, for your wonderful way with words. You have touched my heart. Life is full of friendship, family, and love.

The Fadeaway

What a complicated read, so many unexpected things happened. Patty was definitely a strong and complex woman. I love how the author wrote about Ruby’s journey and exploration of her mother’s past. Well done!

A tribute to Patty

This was a wonderful tribute to Ruby’s mother without being overly sad. The Fadeaway was a wonderful, heartfelt addition to this series.

Oh, this one. Ruby loses her other, finds her mother, and then she lets her go.
