2.5 stars.**Review completed September 15, 2013 Caution! If you can't handle a rant then I would advise you to stop right now.
What I loved: THIS! ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The sexting at the airport was great! Loved it and even Jax was delicious. Their first encounter in New York was hot, sensual and thrilling. No need to beat around the bush either. I really loved that too. It is very unfortunate that a lot went down the drain later on.
THE BAD
Plenty of waterworks and drama…drama…drama…OMG, it's my fault. I shouldn't have…blah blah blah
THE WRITING
While I enjoyed the beginning of the story I felt that something was off from the get-go. I just needed a little while to get to the heart of the matter. It was the writing; eyegasms all the way, baby! Ugh. Nothing positive about it though. It's incredibly clichéd and syrupy.
You know I LOVE lyrical writing. In fact, I soak that up in a heartbeat. However, what I got here is not lyrical, not by a long shot. It's like a bomb filled with rainbows, flowers and unicorns that exploded in front of my eyes.
Jax came across as a pathetic and wounded wuss. Oh, yeah, he is the poor guy who has been screwed over by too many women and his entire family. *pets* Instead of improving his poor state of mind and self-confidence he is beating himself up even more. Oh, the pity party, right Jaxy-boy? Yep, wallow in your misery and have fun! I found the perfect gif…
The second half of the story really ruined this book for me and the final 20 % made me roll my eyes again and again, and I was floating through a wad of sickeningly sweet cotton candy and anger, hoping it would be over soon. I was always thinking "Grow a pair, you pathetic jerk!" The apologies were all over the place. For more you can read my updates four to six. Says all.
My outburst at 64 %. I was incredibly pissed off.
Then I really thought he would man up and right a wrong. Shortly after when they were together again the next problem knocked at their door; the happiness didn't last long.

The final drama which made me want to tear my hair out.

Another sample "(…)Listen to him, Lexi. This is your future. Don't throw it away for one hot guy."
When someone would tell me where I have to eat and s@it or with whom I may go on a date then I would tell them to go take a hike. And I'm being polite! I could also tell them to go…um…&%$£^?*+§££%ç&£?$$!!!! I think you get the gist. She (was it Martina?) tried hard to convince Lexi what was good for her and her career. Uh-huh, get lost!
Reckless lacked credibility. I'm sorry and I try hard not to let my inner jealous bitch speaking. BUT. When an man is pushing a woman against a wall and gives her multiple orgasms within a blink of an eye then I really have to wonder if that's realistic. Oh, and let's not forget the little drama afterwards "Oh, God. Are you OMGGGGGG, he is Oh, oh, oh…OMG...*scurries panic-stricken around* Sorry, I think I'm entitled to my own little drama once in a while. And that's only one little example. Hmm…I think I got a bit sidetracked. Anyway, I marvel at the super-duper multiple orgasms that were all over the story. Also, Reckless is riddled with clichés. We have throats that squeeze with regret, hearts that squeeze with whatnot and the sex that squeezes too, although that was to be expected. I mean that's really, really harmless; there are descriptions in this story that made my heart squeeze with utter anguish.
There's one good thing though. These two are perfect for each other. Both have the same issues, the same shortcomings.
Men used her as window dressing, the same way women used Jax--for dressing, a reputation boost, favors.
I'm sorry but my inner bitch is rearing its ugly head once again before I come to an end with myreview rant. Is it necessary that Lexi was sooooooo incredibly beautiful? Perfect. Extraterrestrial stunning. Awesome. Perfect, fantastic, fabulous body. An out of this world Hollywood star between the sheets. Flawless. She is a former model. Explains everything, riiiiight?
Ok, now let's float very slowly back to earth and real life. Ding, ding. Yep, safe landing, soft as a cushion.
I know I'm exaggerating but I wanted to get my point across. Still, it's a fact that Lexi is incredibly beautiful with a perfect body.
It's safe to say that Reckless is another hyped book that didn't live up to my expectations. Well, the coast is clear and Baba is going to shut it now. *deepthroat breath*

I loved loved loved FUCKING loved this book! I don't think I disliked one single thing about it! The characters were fantastic. I loved both Jax and Lexi. The steam? Good Gawd but did Jax know how to get things done!
I'm pretty sure I went through multiple underwear changes. What? TMI?
But in all seriousness, I have found a series to add to my auto-buy list. I am so excited that this will be a series, and it's based on super hot Hollywood stuntmen! What more could a girl ask for? Cannot wait for the next book. I'm dying for Rubi's book. She was such an awesome comedic relief in this story as Lexi's BFF. I loved her spunk, and blatant flirtatiousness. I can only hope that her and Wes's book will be next.
But what are you still doing reading my review. Go read this! Now! Seriously! The book is fucking awesome! Just make sure to bring Jax back to his rightful owner once you're done with him. I've already branded him and everything.
Mine mine mine. And once you meet him you will completely understand my obsessively posessive ways ;)

This book was amazing. First off, it hasn’t been ALL OVER Goodreads with gushing, rave reviews. It SHOULD be all over Goodreads, with gushing, rave reviews. Came across Lkay’s review this morning and was intrigued – sounded great to “one=clicked” (no Guardian Angel around this morning to protect me from that).
Loved the wit, the banter, the sex.
Lexi was great – came from nothing and worked her way up in the world to be a success. Jax – yummy – came from something and wanted to work his way down in the world and have a normal life…..
Could it work between them? There was insecurities, false impressions, misrepresentations. Loved every single bit of this. Devoured it in almost one sitting = nearly forgot to collect my son from school I was so engrossed in it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ONE!

4.5 Sweet & Sexy Stars!
This book was so fun, sexy, and lovable! Reader beware: It’s one you aren’t going to want to put down. I started it late at night and read it all in one sitting....
Leix is an up and coming fashion designer. She started at the very bottom, and worked her way to the top. She has made a name for herself and she has done it with out help from anyone. It’s a pivotal point in Lexi’s career. All of her hard work is about to pay off. One thing I loved about Lexi is she was who she was, she didn’t judge people, but she was upfront about her situation. What she must do and what’s expected of her.
The pressure is on for Lexi. And not just pressure to design beautiful dresses. With famous, high end cliental, Lexi has a certain image she has to uphold... and no matter how sexy the man Lexi see’s in the airport is, he doesn’t fit that image.
Jax freakin Chamberlain... Jax’s upbringing was most opposite of Lexi’s. He grew up with the fame, the spotlight. Thats not what he wants. He wants to do what he loves, without all the pressure of being famous. He now lives his life as a stunt man. While at the airport, some random number starts texting him... it’s someone there, a woman who is testing a special app. The two text for a while and really start to hit it off. It’s very sweet at first-
Sweet and flirty texting suddenly turns into too hot to handle panty melting sexting!
Dress designer Lexi, and stunt man Jax have more in common than either could have suspected. Both are beautiful, and neither one wants to be in the spotlight. They both want to make it on their own, their own way. Neither of them know this about each other. Lexi makes a decision. She will reveal herself to Jax at their hotel when their flight lands. Not completely, but somewhat. She has no idea who Jax is, or how famous he really is. All she knows is that she cannot deny her connection or attraction to this man. She has to give it a try.
There is so much heat in this book your kindle may catch fire! Lexi and Jax together... Mmmm! These two have some crazy intense sexual chemistry! After spending some time together secretly, Jax wants more. He wants Lexi. After a lot of meaningless sex/relationships, he wants the real thing. He can tell Lexi is real, genuine. She has to make a huge decision. Between what is best for her, and what is best for her career. Jax knew the score upfront, he’s willing to give her time...
I guess it’s that time where I will have a little swoonfest and tell you how much I loved Jax- because I did love Jax! There was one point in the story I wanted to slap him, but I seriously loved this guy! Hot (check), tattooed (check), sexy (check), sweet (check), he was just all around a delicious character!
Lexi and Jax don’t have the easiest journey, but Lexi eventually realizes whats really important to her and in her life. When it’s time for one of the biggest nights of her life, her career, she knows who she wants by her side.
The last thing in the world Jax wants to do is hold Lexi back from her career, her dream. But if she wants him, he won’t be able to resist.
This book was the perfect light and fun read! It made me all kinds of happy while reading. Gotta love a good book like that! The writing captivated me from the start, I adore the characters! It was an excellent, sexy and an awfully sweet book. I am hoping that the next book in this series is a Wes/Rubio book. I will for sure be reading more from this author!

She has to make a huge decision. Between what is best for her, and what is best for her career. Jax knew the score upfront, he’s willing to give her time...

I guess it’s that time where I will have a little swoonfest and tell you how much I loved Jax- because I did love Jax! There was one point in the story I wanted to slap him, but I seriously loved this guy! Hot (check), tattooed (check), sexy (check), sweet (check), he was just all around a delicious character!
Lexi and Jax don’t have the easiest journey, but Lexi eventually realizes whats really important to her and in her life. When it’s time for one of the biggest nights of her life, her career, she knows who she wants by her side.
The last thing in the world Jax wants to do is hold Lexi back from her career, her dream. But if she wants him, he won’t be able to resist.
This book was the perfect light and fun read! It made me all kinds of happy while reading. Gotta love a good book like that! The writing captivated me from the start, I adore the characters! It was an excellent, sexy and an awfully sweet book. I am hoping that the next book in this series is a Wes/Rubio book. I will for sure be reading more from this author!

5 IT DOES NOT GET HOTTER THAN THIS STARS.
Let me start my review by saying I know reviewers always want their friends to love a book they enjoyed just as much, and I find myself in that exact predicament with this perfectly written, sexy as Victoria secrets book. I can't express how much I adored this saucy little number and I can assure you this book hit my five star buttons right from the beginning, so with that being said here are my 'Reckless' thoughts ...
I have seen this book floating around my GoodRead's feed for the last couple of weeks, most readers were excited about the off the scales hotness level of this story, well let me tell you this ... you won't believe it till you've read it. At just 5% in I thought my kindle may well just spontaneously combust and as the book went on it only got better. 'Reckless' combined a perfect blend of sexy and sweet with an interesting storyline. I feel like lately I've been getting frustrated with being swayed by 'popular' books that actually have done nothing for me, but I'm so glad that I gave this author a go. 'Reckless' is the perfect romance with outlandish steam and low on the angst all delivered in one quick, steamy package that made me one happy reviewer.
What's it all about?
Bentley 'Jax' Chamberlain is a man who has a history of bad relationships, women have used him for his wealth and status and ever since this playboy has taken a step back from his life in the limelight he finds he is still wary of the women who come into his life. This hero is looking for something more and after a more than unusual meeting with a mystery woman Jax finds himself intrigued by this 'chance meeting' but with a past filled with dubious liaisons we find this ex-super star wary of moving forward. Lexi LaCroix is on her way to success, this beauty has experienced her fair share of achievements as a famous model but is now branching out to further her career as a famous designer of couture wedding dresses. Lexi knows the price of a good reputation so when she falls in complete lust with a dark and mysterious stranger, she has to make the decision to take the risk and give into this dynamite attraction. Lexi and Jax need to overcome their own pasts and insecurities if they are ever to make it together ... 'reckless' is the story of this duo and the journey it takes to realise that sometimes you need to take a risk on love.
What did I love?
I'm a huge fan of love and romance (I'm sure you realise this by now). But more than that I simply love a story where there is no over-emphasised drama, no heartbreaking death's or illness, no struggle with mental health or anything that makes my reading experiance down beat, I love 'LOVE', I like sexy and I crave sweet and I most certainly adore fabulous characters and here my gorgeous friends with 'Reckless' is has all that and a little bit more. I was simply fanatic from the first few chapters over this story. Yes it was hot, in a heart-in-mouth-kinda way, but it delivered more than just under the sheet action. I loved the slow build up, give me insta-lust any reading day of the week, this book had seduction by the truck load full, but it was also delivered with a feeling of sweet and loved up underneath all the blazing hot appeal. I'm sure its more than a little obvious that this book a huge winner for me. The characters were funny, sensual and easy to fall in love with. There was anticipation and relationship development without drawn out angst and I even felt invested in the surrounding characters, I can't wait for more from this author and I hope her future books are presented as refreshingly adorable as 'Reckless'.
Final thoughts ...
If you like, scratch that if you LOVE; easy reading with a sexy, seductive storyline and you cant help but fall for captivating characters then hook yourself up with this book. It has an allure that bumped it right up there with my favourites. I don't think there's much more else to say, you know I love it ... Go grab it readers, kisses.

"Tonight, baby, this is home."
This is a perfect example of why I think sex is so important in a novel. If ever a couple connected on a soul deep level while during the act, surely it was Jax and Lexi.
MY SYNOPSIS

Lexi LaCroix's dream job as a haute couture wedding dress designer means that she is a woman who rubs elbows with Tinseltown's most rich, famous, pampered, and above all... private people. They are more than willing to drop tens of thousands of dollars on a wedding dress, but they expect the name of their prestigious designer to be unblemished and above reproach. People this rich pay for the name just as much as the product. So Lexi strives to give them just that...she is publicly a rising star in the design world. Seeing as how her past has a lot of shadows, Lexi works very hard to stay on the top...she only shows her perfect side, not the dirt poor girl she used to be. She's worked her fingers bloody to get to where she is, and her job is her life. When a famous designer in NYC invites Lexi to be a part of her team, Lexi is overjoyed...and intimidated.
While arriving at the airport to fly to the biggest meeting of her life, Lexi sees Jax Chamberlin for the first time. Jax is an ex actor turned stuntman with his own career driven goals. He knows what it's like in Hollywood, with image being everything. Since leaving acting, his famous family has shunned him and his rebellious ways, his tattoos and wild lifestyle an affront to their snobby society ways.
Long story short, Lexi stumbles upon Jax again inside the airport, and with the help of her tech-smart friend, snag his phone number. She decides to play a little game with the hottie while waiting for her plane. And the fun begins!
"You're going to come...so hard."
MY THOUGHTS:
Now, I thought that the sexting and flirting was fun....oh, boy! Was I wrong! When these two get to New York, Jax still has no idea what Lexi looks like. But she's turned up the heat so high now that he can't seem to stop until he gets to touch this woman who has set his blood to boil with a few words.
"I'm a big boy, Lex. Let me worry about me. If you want me, take me. I'm offering."
"Had she misread him? Was she misreading herself? If this was passion, it was more intense than anything she'd ever felt. Overwhelming. Obsessive. Dark."
I loved, loved, LOVED JAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
"Can I touch you?" he asked, his voice softer than a whisperbut so much deeper..."
He sees this woman, only in shadows for nearly half of the book. He doesn't even know what she looks like...but he's getting to know her innermost thoughts, and they line up with his. He even knows and understands her hesitation in starting a relationship while trying to build her business in Hollywood. Poor Jax...he's a rebel, he's a bad boy...but he's also a really wonderful person, with SUCH a good heart. He never pressures Lexi, and in turn, I could really relate and empathize with both Lexi and Jax.
"An emotion Jax couldn't identify flodded him. It started at the middle of his chest and washed outward until he ached with it. Desire flowed in it's wake. Deep and hot and strong. But different from anything he'd ever felt before. Far more intense."
Jax is a closet romantic. It only took Lexi to bring forth those undeniable, intense feelings. And he's not afraid of them. This was love at it's deepest. This is selfless and compassionate, sympathetic and giving.
Why not quite five stars? I felt like the return to real life made the story fall a little flat. I wanted more details about both Jax and Lexie. The reader gets to know both of their pasts very little. We only know that Lexie grew up very poor and that Jax grew up very rich. Although I did feel a connection with them...the author made sure of that...I still didn't feel as if I knew them as well as I should have, and I wanted more details after the sexy fun was over and they returned to normal life and responsibilities. I felt like that was the perfect time to add some levity, but it never came.
The door was left wide open for the rest of the Renegades stuntmen to get their own stories...although we really didn't get much info on them or how they met Jax. Hopefully we get more background on all of the characters as the series moves forward!

"He was both everything she wanted and nothing she needed. Or rather what she'd been telling herself she hadn't needed."
Reckless was a fun, well written, sexy story with an original plot, a hot alpha male hero and a very likeable heroine. To me, it was the perfect kind of in between read that will leave you with a happy smile on your face once you've finished reading it. There were times were I was laughing out loud at some of the banter between the two main characters, other times I had to fann myself because of all the smoking hot chemistry between the two of them.
Lexi LaCroix is an up and coming fashion designer with a lot of work pressure and very little free time. Te last thing she needs is a serious and time-consuming relationship. So, when she meets bad boy/stuntman Jax Chamberlin she thinks she has found the perfect one night stand distraction that will provide her a fun time without any strings attached. What she hadn't expected though, was to fall for said bad boy and being left with a feeling of wanting much more than just one hot night of passion.
And let me just say, passion and chemistry is exactly what bonds these two. There romance doesn't start out in the most conventional way either, seeing as they technically met through texting. Or better yet, sexting. From the moment they start sending each other texts, things start heating up and they only get more steamer from there on.
But aside from their physical attraction, the two fo them have a lot in common as well. Both Jax and Lexi have had some bad relationship experiences in the past, but together they are trying to learn what it's like to be able to trust and rely on someone other than themselves. Their relationship isn't an easy one. There are a few ups and downs along the way, but eventually they do get their HEA.

This was my first book by Skye Jordan and I can already say it won't be my last! It was a very promising debut novel by an author that I will for sure look out for in the future. If you're looking for a fun, feel-good, steamy read, then I would highly recommend giving Reckless a try!

Jaxon, former actor, now professional stuntman has lived a life riddled with not being good enough for family, used by women across the globe for his "connections," and has pretty much given up on pleasing people. 4.5 “Sexting” stars!!!

Jax used to be an actor. Until he gave up because that didn’t make him happy and became a stunt actor. Which is basically and very sexy and dangerous career choice.
He is sexy, a bad-boy and doesn’t want commitments because all girls just want him for the looks or for the connections he has.
Both of them are afraid of relationships because people always want them for the wrong reasons. Not to mention Lexie needs to be seen in order to make it.. and Jax wants nothing more than to be unseen.
But when what started as a simple sexual relationship with no strings, quickly becomes something more… well, the story gets more complicated.
First let me tell you: This was hot!! And the sexting, oh boy, the sexting!
The story was pretty good and I find myself hooked to every page of this book. I don’t know how isn’t everyone crazy about this: They should be.
The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because the end seemed to short to me.

Both of them are afraid of relationships because people always want them for the wrong reasons. Not to mention Lexie needs to be seen in order to make it.. and Jax wants nothing more than to be unseen.
But when what started as a simple sexual relationship with no strings, quickly becomes something more… well, the story gets more complicated.
First let me tell you: This was hot!! And the sexting, oh boy, the sexting!
The story was pretty good and I find myself hooked to every page of this book. I don’t know how isn’t everyone crazy about this: They should be.
The only reason I’m not giving it five stars is because the end seemed to short to me.
Other than that, I know that I’ll definitely keep reading these books!

I was really excited to read this one. This is my fave kind of book and LOVED every minute of it. This is the story of stuntman Jax and dress designer Lexi. They meet by chance in the airport, and with some super cool technology, Lexi gets Jax's cell phone number.....and so it begins. HOLY MOTHER OF GOD....the sexting between these two was seriously off the charts freaking hotttttttt!! I fell in love with this couple and they delivered. Boy did they ever!!! What an AMAZING, SWEET, SEXY, AWESOME book!! Thank you Lkay for the book rec and everyone should definitely give this one a go....FANFUCKTASTIC

OMG! I seriously LOVED this book! LOVED it. LOVED the story. LOVED Jax. LOVED everything!!!
Hands down one of the hottest books I've read! Seriously....
Jax most definitely makes my TOP BOOK BOYFRIEND list. I'm not going to lie, I was a little worried that I wouldn't like the heroine, Lexi. But she definitely came through.
Reckless is Jax and Lexi's story. The Renegades are a stunt team, owned by Jax. Future books will be about other "Renegades". So this one was a standalone with a HEA! I really hope Wes and Rubi's story is next! *Hint, Hint*
Jax and Lexi meet at the airport. Both are flying to NY. Jax always manages to bed women that use him to get somewhere in the movie biz. He's used to his family being "ashamed" of him. Lexi is more straight-laced, burying herself in work with no time for a personal life. She is a dress designer and has high profile clients; therefore, image is very important to her. Lexi is testing out her BFFs latest software phone app on unsuspecting patrons of the airport--one being Jax.
Lexi is able to get phone numbers without the owners knowing. So she strikes up a text convo with Jax....they keep their identities hidden....and it's all history from there. They spent a SUPER DUPER SMOKING HOT morning and night together but then Lexi refuses to see him again. Knowing that she doesn't have the time for a relationship and fearing that his "image" could effect her current clients and potential partnership.

Jax and Lexi eventually "reconnect" and discover each other's true identities. But will that push them closer together or tear them apart? Will Lexi get the partnership if she chooses Jax? Really loved how this one ended. And I loved that there wasn't a bunch of unnecessary juvenile drama.
This was a pretty quick read and I will definitely be checking out the other books in the series. Fantastic debut Skye Jordan.

Since I'm probably one of the last 10 people left who haven't read this book, I'll make my review short and sweet.
Jax - -
I'm not afraid to brawl for him either! Just watch my nails...because if I break one...then it's really on beetch!
Ok, now on to the book. I loved it! I'm so happy that there wasn't any unnecessary drama here. With what Jax and Lexi were dealing with, the author could have delivered drama on top of drama on top of drama...drawn out for chapters on end. But NOPE, not here. We had two rational adults dealing with their relationship, while trying to stake a claim in their respective worlds. Both had understandable vulnerabilities, but they dealt with those issues......maturely. GASP! I know! How refreshing!
And the steam. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Just.....Whoa! I lost my poor ovaries during this book. After the airport texting, I just knew they didn't stand a chance.
So, if you're one of the now remaining 9 people that haven't read this book.....I'm just going to give you the little extra push that you need.

♥ Reckless was like fantasy imagination land for me, it drew me in immediately and I LOVED it.
The story is about two gorgeous people looking for something....they both have success in their careers but, as with all our perfect H/h, they need more, even though they may NOT realize it.
"My name is Lexi and I'm a sexual train wreck."
Lexi , our lady, is a 28 year old, '...all-American Blonde.....Over the last 2 years, she'd become the most expensive, most in-demand couture wedding dress designer in Southern California." But would her career opportunities cost her in other areas of her life???? She has a beautiful face and a body to die for....but she's fed up of people only wanting her for show, for horrible shallow, selfish reasons.....
Jax, Stuntman extraordinaire and former actor.....what can I say about this piece of perfect gorgeousness with a, '...muscled torso,' and a sexy jacket.....? I was swooning and melting all over the place....he has the right looks, the right words and it seems he's an expert at SEXTING..... that's right sexting, the art of sending delicious naughty texts, WORD TEXTS...there should be more of this kind of SEXTING...... I for one am going to partaking; he's an expert lover too!!!!
Reckless is off the scale delicious with its steam and romance factors. It gives you hot, wild, wonderful..... need-to-change-your-knickers kind of hot, hot sex!!!!

Sometimes I need emotional roller-coaster type reads, full of raw angst, and sometimes I need.... 'Reckless,' something fantastically amazing.... something that sets my romantic imaginations or daydreams on fire.....something where I'm not going to worry about things going wrong or characters being arses... Reckless delivered and I LOVED IT ... it gave me just what I needed.

The only thing that stopped me from giving the full 5 shiny stars was a small part at the end. Jax and his motivation for his actions, was just a little lame, imo. I still loved it but, I would have preferred it to be slightly different. I'm being picky, I know..... it's a very small thing and didn't spoil my enjoyment or detract from the story, it's all make-believe anyway!!!!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a story about Lexi's fabulous best friend, Rubi and Jax's cheeky friend, Wes.....

This was the kind of man she craved- a rough around the edges, blue collar, hard loving man. A few tattoos, a dark background, confidence in the bedroom...or the bed of a truck...or on the back of a motorcycle...

So this review will state more of the same!!! This is a FABULOUS book that is fun, sweet, sassy, sexy, sexy, sexy, romantic, heartfelt and in the end a phenomenal love story about 2 "scared to trust" people who have to overcome their insecurities to be together.
So here's Jax- or as I like to think of him "Sex on a Stick"
Then there is adorable Lexi-
Their eyes meet at an airport and then Lexi(with the help of an app that her best sassy friend Rubi has her try out) texts Jax anonymously. Well let's say that it is sexting at its finest......
Then they meet up at the hotel after they land in NY- anonymously again and in the dark so no faces can be seem and proceed to.....
"Hold still," he whispered, tightening an arm around her waist. "I'm going to give you hard and fast to relieve you. We've got all night to explore the many different kinds of orgasms that exist. And no, baby, they're not all the same."

Anyways, She uses this high tech app to get his number and texts him which IRL would be somewhat creepy but Whatever this is story land so it's cool. :)

I dived in without even reading the blurb (again!), call it luck! Not one but found two book boyfriends this week (I still love you Horsey!). LOVEEEEE THIS BOOK!!! It was sweet, witty and steamy with enchanting romance. Chemistry between Lexi and Jax was sizzling hot. The entire sexting and their first encounter in dark, was most romantic thing I’ve ever read.
“I don’t have to see you,” he said, his own breaths fast now, “to know how fucking beautiful you are.”
I re-read those chapters several times, I just love the way the author got down to every detail making it intense and beautiful. Both the MC’s were so charming and lovable, I’m so happy with the ending!! It had me swooning, giggling and sighing.

LOVEEEEE THIS BOOK!!! It was sweet, witty and steamy with enchanting romance. Chemistry between Lexi and Jax was sizzling hot. The entire sexting and their first encounter in dark, was most romantic thing I’ve ever read.

I re-read those chapters several times, I just love the way the author got down to every detail making it intense and beautiful. Both the MC’s were so charming and lovable, I’m so happy with the ending!! It had me swooning, giggling and sighing.

OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First up, BEFORE I go on about HOW MUCH I LOVED THIS BOOK, let me just say that I got to the end of the book and realised that Skye Jordan was a pseudonym of one my FAVOURITE authors; Joan Swan!!!! OH WOW!!! How in the world did I not know this???
Now, onto the gushing... THIS BOOK WAS THE BOMB!!!! It was so funny (I soooo need to get me one of those apps - read the book, you'll understand what I'm talking about!!) with such a tight, well written storyline. And I THROUGHLY LOVED both Jax and Lexi; they were so bloody hot together (and when I say hot, I mean COMBUSTIBLE!!!) *FANS MYSELF*. And the emotions... *SNIFF*, Skye you sure know how to bring a bad boy to his knees...

This is the perfect junk-food book!
If you're looking for something light, short, fast and fun, this is it. It was so much better than I expected, the chars were wonderful! I liked it a lot more than I thought.

I completely loved this book. The first in the Renegades Series, brings Jax and Lexi together in a most delicious way.
Lexi is the self made wedding dress designer, she has moved up the ranks and overcome all the odds to be a success. But she doesn't have time for a love life and she isn't willing to risk her business again by falling in love with another typical LA guy. Jax is bad-boy of Hollywood that gave up the fame of acting to start a stuntman company. His life in the spotlight wasn't all it was cracked up to be and even detaching himself from being in the starring roles, he still found that he could not escape the shallowness of the women of LA.
But when Lexi locks eyes with Jax something awakens in her. On the surface she looks like every other LA girl to Jax, but for Lexi, he is everything she has to stay away from to save her reputation. Their chance encounter turns into a hot game of stranger-danger as Lexi begins a flirtatious introduction that allows the two to get to know each other in an interesting way. But both are fighting with their own insecurities and past burns from the lifestyle of the people that surround them.
This was one hot read. Beyond the great story line and talented writing, there was pure fire coming from these sex scenes. Serious panting and we were barely rounding second base folks! There was enough focus put into the simple parts of the build-up to the main event that, suddenly the build-up became the main event. Beyond the flirt these two brought pure sex to every page. I am going to by dying to get my grabby hands all over the hotness of this series.
This is a must read for those who like their romances to be a little sweet on the outside - but down right dirty on the outside.

5+ I'm so happy I could cry STARS
This was by far the most fun I had reading all year. I love, love, love this books. I don't know why some things just click with me and others don't, but Reckless was a hit in the bullseye. No regrets. Not only are Jax and Lexi a match made in sexual chemistry heaven but that author has some skill and she sure knows how to write some mind numbing flirt as well as sex scenes. I’m still blushing.
Honestly, as far as meet-cutes and tangling two beautiful people together goes...this was as original as they come. And if I'm wrong and you have by any chance read something like this before...feel free to tell me all about it. I want more.

After some private and business problems he is trying to focus on his work and the reputation of his company.
So, as his best friend would put it, meeting that girl at the airport is ‘not the right time’ for him, but what can you do?

Anyway. Here is what completely sold me on the book and almost set my kindle on fire. As mentioned above Lexi and Jax have a short meet at the airport, some heated looks were exchanged and they go their separate ways.
Cue in the happy and in my humble opinion unique twist:
Lexi is supposed to test a brand new cell phone app for her friend. An app that lets you anonymously contact people within your vicinity and our smart girl promptly uses it on Jax, who happens to be on her flight to New York.
Harmless flirting turns into heated sexting and the rest is history...well it's not quite that easy but I can assure you it is sexy as hell!
Go read and enjoy if you haven’t done that yet. I’m already on the second book..:D YAY, there is more.

Okay. Don't shoot me. I know I initially gave this a solid 4 but now that I was able to think about, my rating is closer to 3.5 rather than a solid 4.
Don't get me wrong. I think this book is hot. It reminded me a little of Ella Frank's Exquisite Series. I like the characters especially Jax. I mean, gawd, even his name is hot. Plus, he's a little wild and a little reckless and he's dynamite in bed. In other words, he is every woman's fantasy.
I liked Lexi, too. She gorgeous, of course. Tall, blond, great in bed, and hear this, she's a former model and from what I gathered, she has no gag reflex. And here in lies the problem, at least for me since more often than not, I would prefer my heroines closer to earth. Although, I did love her wit and her inner strength, I struggled to relate to her. Yes folks, I'm a jealous biatch, so beware, hmm.
I actually adored Lexi's best friend Rubi. I thought she was funny and potentially hiding some pain beneath that sass. I also loved the pacing of the whole story. So what if it's a little predictable? When it's done well, predictability can be good. So I can't really complain much about that.
As I have said, this book is hot. But I have to be honest though, there were times especially during the sex scenes. I swear if I read, “But when I’m inside you, you’re going to come so hard you scream,” or any other variation one more time in every goddamn erotica/CR book, I'm gonna lose it. It's become as common as growling and saying, "Mine." *Roll eyes*
Other than that, I still very much enjoyed this one. This is a perfect book to read when you need some pick-me-up or if you're in between darker or heavier themed books.
And oh, I was looking for an epilogue but found none. The ending was okay. A bit cheesy for my taste but still a good ending.

4.5 Hawt stars
I bloody LOVED this book! It was exactly what I needed at the time; I read it in one sitting and wow! I have to say……does this author have a way of writing a sex scene! I was sourcing demisters for my Kindle because it was definitely getting steamed up! Wowsers!!

It was hot! I adored all the characters especially Jax and Lexi. These two wooed me and I was completely smitten with both of them. Hearing from both characters was a great addition and I was with them from start to finish, cheering them on and relishing every steamy moment I spent with them.
The way the author initiated the conversation and developed the relationship between Jax and Lexi was so entertaining! It was hot, funny and sweet, the execution of the “meeting” between Lexi and Jax was combustible and these two had heat in spades!
“I think,” He murmured, “you were thinking the same thing I’ve been thinking for the last ten hours. How badly we want the other to ease this need that’s grown between us.”
Where to start with Jaxon “swoooon’ Chamberlin? Jax, the hotter than hell, rugged, tattooed, sexy and very, very sensual stuntman knocked me off my feet. Wow! This guy oozed sex, sin and sensuality from every pore. All I can picture is this well built, ridiculously sexy guy in biker boots and a Brutale MC jacket looking bloody DIVINE! Hmmm…..just give me a moment to recover here!
JAX: ‘Sorry. You have me a little frenzied. The gist of that is I’m all about pleasure. I’m not into anything bizarre or dark. No fetishes or crazy piercings. I don’t know if this will be a benefit or a drawback to you, but I just really love wickedly hot sex with a woman who loves wickedly hot sex.’
GULP! You had me at frenzied!! After falling for a string of women who all want something from Jax and his connections, who see Jax as an opportunity to further careers, Jax starts to seriously take stock of his life. He ponders where he’s at, where he’s going and just why he always seems to choose the wrong type of women and wonders if he will ever meet the ‘real deal’ in a town where everyone wants something from everyone.
“As far as I’m concerned, people are people, and their value stems from their character, not their popularity or notoriety.”
Enter Lexi. She’s clueless as to who Jax is. She too has had her share of being burnt by people out to exploit her. She’s beautiful, confident, successful and sexy. Lexi lives an ordered life and meeting the spontaneous Jax upends her.

Lexi has no idea the level of success and respect Jax has earned in Hollywood. Lexi only sees Jax, the man and is conflicted on how good he makes her feel yet how he isn’t right for her and her future. But this ruggedly handsome, warm, kind extremely hot stuntman who ignites her in a way no man has ever done and she can’t get enough of him. Can’t say I blame her – they’d be no having second thoughts as far as this man is concerned.

Talk about chemistry!! Holy hotness, pass me the fan! The build-up just about caused me to combust, the flirting was funny and hot……and I know I’ve said it before but the sex scenes were as hot as hades. Yep! Hot!!!

I can’t say enough how much I loved this book and the relationship between not only Jax and Lexi but also the contribution of the secondary characters as well. I can’t wait to hear more about Wes and Rubi, I think I’m going to definitely need to source those Kindle demisters for those two!
But Reckless was more than just a hot romp. The romance between Jax and Lexi melted my heart. In fact, the only reason this wasn’t a 5 star for me was because I wanted more. I would have loved to have spent more time and explored these characters further.

Watching them grow, facing their fears and failings, learning to trust and realising what was important in life and grabbing it with both hands and witnessing them bring out the the best in each other absolutely captivated me. Yep, Reckless was such a fun escape, I couldn’t put it down, I had a HUGE smile on my face and a glow in my heart when I finished it and I’m so ready for more of these hot Renegade men! Bring it on!
I bloody LOVED this book! It was exactly what I needed at the time; I read it in one sitting and wow! I have to say……does this author have a way of writing a sex scene! I was sourcing demisters for my Kindle because it was definitely getting steamed up! Wowsers!!

It was hot! I adored all the characters especially Jax and Lexi. These two wooed me and I was completely smitten with both of them. Hearing from both characters was a great addition and I was with them from start to finish, cheering them on and relishing every steamy moment I spent with them.
The way the author initiated the conversation and developed the relationship between Jax and Lexi was so entertaining! It was hot, funny and sweet, the execution of the “meeting” between Lexi and Jax was combustible and these two had heat in spades!
“I think,” He murmured, “you were thinking the same thing I’ve been thinking for the last ten hours. How badly we want the other to ease this need that’s grown between us.”
Where to start with Jaxon “swoooon’ Chamberlin? Jax, the hotter than hell, rugged, tattooed, sexy and very, very sensual stuntman knocked me off my feet. Wow! This guy oozed sex, sin and sensuality from every pore. All I can picture is this well built, ridiculously sexy guy in biker boots and a Brutale MC jacket looking bloody DIVINE! Hmmm…..just give me a moment to recover here!
JAX: ‘Sorry. You have me a little frenzied. The gist of that is I’m all about pleasure. I’m not into anything bizarre or dark. No fetishes or crazy piercings. I don’t know if this will be a benefit or a drawback to you, but I just really love wickedly hot sex with a woman who loves wickedly hot sex.’
GULP! You had me at frenzied!! After falling for a string of women who all want something from Jax and his connections, who see Jax as an opportunity to further careers, Jax starts to seriously take stock of his life. He ponders where he’s at, where he’s going and just why he always seems to choose the wrong type of women and wonders if he will ever meet the ‘real deal’ in a town where everyone wants something from everyone.
“As far as I’m concerned, people are people, and their value stems from their character, not their popularity or notoriety.”
Enter Lexi. She’s clueless as to who Jax is. She too has had her share of being burnt by people out to exploit her. She’s beautiful, confident, successful and sexy. Lexi lives an ordered life and meeting the spontaneous Jax upends her.

Lexi has no idea the level of success and respect Jax has earned in Hollywood. Lexi only sees Jax, the man and is conflicted on how good he makes her feel yet how he isn’t right for her and her future. But this ruggedly handsome, warm, kind extremely hot stuntman who ignites her in a way no man has ever done and she can’t get enough of him. Can’t say I blame her – they’d be no having second thoughts as far as this man is concerned.

Talk about chemistry!! Holy hotness, pass me the fan! The build-up just about caused me to combust, the flirting was funny and hot……and I know I’ve said it before but the sex scenes were as hot as hades. Yep! Hot!!!
“No, not yet. Hearing you ache for it turns me on.”
I can’t say enough how much I loved this book and the relationship between not only Jax and Lexi but also the contribution of the secondary characters as well. I can’t wait to hear more about Wes and Rubi, I think I’m going to definitely need to source those Kindle demisters for those two!
But Reckless was more than just a hot romp. The romance between Jax and Lexi melted my heart. In fact, the only reason this wasn’t a 5 star for me was because I wanted more. I would have loved to have spent more time and explored these characters further.

Watching them grow, facing their fears and failings, learning to trust and realising what was important in life and grabbing it with both hands and witnessing them bring out the the best in each other absolutely captivated me.
