Eternal Service was a wonderful paranormal romance. Regina Morris knows how to draw you into a story and keep you begging for more. Eternal Service focuses on the idea of a secret detail that protects the President and few other officials. This detail called The Colony is comprised of vampires with varying abilities. Some are pure bred, others are half-breeds and others are turned humans. The story centers around Raymond, the head of the Colony and an almost 200 yr old vampire, and Alex a career military woman who becomes the liaison between the Colony and the President. There love affair grows quickly but also has obstacles to overcome. Within the love story is also the political thriller of vampires trying to infiltrate the Supreme Court. It is the Colony’s job to prevent that from happening.

This was a wonderfully written book. I believe this has the potential to be a phenomenal series. Alex and Raymond’s love story is enthralling. It makes me want a vampire of my very own. The side characters are also phenomenal. Brandon and Matt are great as the conspiracy theorists and Sterling and Sulee are wonderful as Raymond’s family. But, it wasn’t just the love story or the characters. It was the entire concept that was done so well it was believable. The conspiracy theorists out there probably have even thought of this theory. The mixture of a political thriller and a paranormal romance was skillfully done. Both parts were equally represented and flowed very smoothly. Overall, I would say this was a home run for Regina Morris. I can’t wait to read Sterling’s book next.

Well, where do I begin?!!! First of all I really loved this book. The first in The Colony series by this very talented author. I'm a huge paranormal romance fan....in fact I read little else. Vampires are at the top of my, I love list. This novel hit all the high points...great character development, action, suspense and don't forget the romance!

The basic story line was very interesting. A vampire organization known as "The Colony"(which was begun after the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln) working both with and independent of the Secret Service in protecting the President. The fast paced story kept my attention at all times, in fact I was on the edge of my seat a few times. There was also many humorous aspects to this book, I found myself giggling out loud a few times....yes, the "giggle factor" is real everyone!!! (inside joke from the book there)

The sexual tension between the two main characters was very obvious and very sweet. There was also plenty of hot steamy moments as well!! The author also provided the all important "Happy Ending"!

I highly recommend this wonderful addition to the paranormal book world by this very talented author. I look forward to the next installment in this fantastic new series!!!

I loved this book! This promises to be a great series. I can’t wait for the next book! :-)

I was looking for a good paranormal romance to read when I was given an ARC of the book, Eternal Service, from the author. I was worried at first that it may focus too much on the President and politics – but it didn’t. Washington DC and the presidential stuff offer a very nice backdrop giving these two main characters a reason to meet and be together. The romance was the key focus. I’m not an expert on presidential protocols, but I think the author probably did do her homework since I found it credible.

I loved the twist the author had on her vampire world. There is a Vampire Council, arranged marriages, bagged blood ... and best of all, the vampires can alter their age based upon the amount of blood they consume. Very unique!

The story is about a lonely vampire, Raymond, who is a federal agent protecting the President. He’s a loner and keeps away from humans. He is the leader of the small group of vampires, known as The Colony, that work with a human liaison who reports directly to the President. The liaison is retiring and a human woman, named Alex, is taking his place. Raymond fights his interest in her, she has baggage of her own, but the two can’t fight their attraction and desire for each other.

The romance was real romance (IMHO). They go out, they get to know each other, etc. By the time they actually did sizzle up the page I just felt it was meant to be.

There are two other sub-plots in this story. First, we have a villainous vampire who’s up to no good and the Colony must stop him. This gave some action to the story and allowed the two main characters to interact together and build a working (and personal) relationship. The author did a great job keeping the action exciting, but also in keeping it to a minimum so that it enhanced the main story line and didn’t over-power it.

The other sub-plot running through the story was the side character of Brandon. He’s a government agent that keeps finding clues that vampires exist. Throughout the story his mind is wiped and he keeps showing up like a bad-penny. I loved this character.

I thought the author also did a great job of what I like to call “hinting.” Not exactly foreshadowing, but making a light mention of something in an earlier chapter and then having that object/incident/feeling show up later in the book. There were a handful of these and it made the story really round-out nicely with no loose ends.

The main characters were believable in a relationship, the side characters were interesting, the sub-plots added flavor ... it was all good.

Lastly, the ending surprised me! I really enjoyed it. The ending was perfect for the story and I’m not going to say anything about it because I don’t want to spoil it for the next reader.

Book #2 is about the character Sterling (Raymond’s 180 year-old son). He’s a bad boy, and I can’t wait to see him find true love.

I am furthering my adventure outside my "comfort zone" with this one. Anyone that has read my reviews this month knows that I am not big on vampire books, however, I love new authors and I am learning to love reading things that push me beyond my limits as far as what I like to read. I have never claimed to be a big fan of paranormal romance but what I am discovering is that by taking a new direction in the books I read, I am finding out that I enjoy changing things up now and again. So for the forth time in the past three weeks, I found myself with a vampire book in my hands. I am actually a little disappointed that with my reading list, it has taken me so long to get to this adventure.
This book starts out with a bang and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to keep up with all of the characters in it. There were several right off the bat and I was having a hard time keeping them straight while trying to figure out who was who and why the rogue was being killed and what the president had to do with it. Even though I found it a bit overwhelming in the very beginning, the story developed with ease and you learn who each of these people are and what there purpose is and how they ended up where they are.
Regina Morris does an amazing job with character development in this book and I actually feel as if I have a great insight into the lives of the characters. Typically by now in a review, I am calling characters "people." But with the amount of vampires in this book, I am going to stick with characters to keep it simple.
Alex is a very strong female lead in this book. Though she has an incident in her past that has left internal scars, she is so career driven and strong. I always appreciate female leads that do not show them as whiney or needy.
Raymond is the ultimate Vampire. You cannot help but admire him in this book. Strong and handsome, his character is so easy to fall in love with. He is the complete package and Alex and Raymond seem to be the perfect fit for eachother. Of course, that means there has to be an issue... Alex is human and Raymond is a vampire... angst!
This book had action and adventure in it as well as a sweet and tender romance. I adored the characters in this book as well as the storyline. Regina Morris did a great job with this book and I am so glad that I have had the opportunity to read it. I am looking forward to another book by her soon!

Wow. I wasn't sure how I was going to like this story in the beginning. I was grabbed by the scruff of the neck and immersed in a vampire story that I have not run across before. I am awed and captivated by the story that has been created. I am amazed to see a new take on vampires and a version that has not been written to death. Raymond is coven master of his family and works for the government. He runs a highly secret organization called The Colony. Their mission is to protect the government.

Alex is a career military woman who strives to recover from a brutal attack several years prior. When she is vetted and offered the position of Director of the Colony, she knows that this is the promotion that she has been waiting for. When she discovers that the people she will be working with are vampires, she is scared and hesitant. After she gets to know Raymond, Sulie and the others she realizes that she has nothing to fear from them. She also realizes that Raymond fits the man she has been dreaming of for years. Finding love when she wasn't expecting it gives her pause but Raymond was made for her.

When danger attacks on their own turf, these two take matters into their own hands and Alex shows Raymond what she is made of. Most humans aren't able to take down a vampire but Alex is not your everyday human. Maybe that is why Raymond finds it so easy to love her.

This was a great story and I am anxious for the next story in this series.

Absolutely loved this book it was a great beginning to a new series.
The concept behind Eternal Service is original and makes for a fun read. Morris, instead of using what has become the common mold for vampires added great new twists making for a much more interesting novel.
The story line of a group of vampires working behind the scenes protecting the president is an idea I haven't yet seen and the way it was written with such attention to detail made for a wonderful read. I couldn't put it down!

Covert Ops, Vamps, and Romance all rolled into one!

I was intrigued by the fact that Enduring Service crossed all of those genres. This is book 1 in the Colony Series. The Colony is an Elite Ops group of Vampires that protect the President of the US along with the FBI human team. Raymond, is the Coven Master of the Colony. The Director of the Colony has to be human to interface between the vampires and the President. As their previous Director Dixon plans to retire, enter female agent Alex. She has no clue that vampires exist and Raymond has not been comfortable around a human woman in about 180 years.

Raymond: a 199 year old strong Alpha vamp who takes care of his coven/family. He is lonely, guilt ridden over the death of his wife despite the fact it happened when he was really young, and has a fear of intimacy.

Alex: A tough female FBI agent who has been career driven at the expense of her personal life. She has issues in her past that cause her anxiety and fear in personal situations. She is looking for her "Butch Manly" to settle down with, but cannot seem to find anyone that meets her criteria. She is "intelligent, caring, and goal oriented." She is excited about the prospect of a promotion, but is shocked to find out what it really entails.

"My career is great, but what I really want is a passionate relationship. I want a family. Where are all the real men out there?" She looked at her therapist, "I mean I have this unclear picture of who I want. He's perfect. He's a Butch Manly...I just can't seem to find him."

"God, I'm helpless." Alex found it ridiculous to be attracted to a creature she would have run from just a few days ago. Why did he have to be so handsome and charming? Of course many of the Hollywood vampires were gorgeous hunks as well....

...he found himself less lonely when she was nearby. He never would have guessed that talking to a woman would seem so enjoyable and easy. She hadn't yelled for help or run away from him as if he was a bloodthirsty monster.

Regina Morris creates a world of vampires that is fascinating. I loved some the characteristics her vamps have. It was especially different that they could alter their age based on how much blood they drank so they could go from young vamps to older ones based on their feedings. They also appeared more human-like despite their strength and special gifts such as gaining info from touch, mind reading and sensing auras. And they could mate with humans that opened up a whole world of "half-breeds."

She really developed her characters well. Not only the main couple, but all of the secondary characters are rich and have their own stories to tell. The story line was detailed and thorough. You learn the history of the vamps, the colony, the government and agencies, and the character's back stories. My only criticism with it is that due to the attention to detail and fullness of descriptions, that it was slow building. Sometimes I really wanted to move the relationship of Raymond and Alex along faster. They had a spark, chemistry, rapport, and were really good together. There were a lot of internal monologues, mixed signals, and others talking about their obvious feelings, but it took quite a while for Alex and Raymond to admit or act on their feelings. They took the time to get to know each other and learn about their differences and you actually see a real courtship. They had some lack of communication, despite the fact that he could read her mind. I would have liked for it to happen a little faster so that we got to see more of them as a true sexy couple. But the parts where they were really together were hot and emotional. And I really liked them together. They were both strong, determined, loving, and looking for the same things. I think the relationships will probably move faster in the rest of the books of the series because readers will already know the characters and the about the vampire world.

Alex fought back a tear. This wonderful man, someone that she had been waiting for all of her life, wanted her. The butterflies returned and mentally she could feel the conscious decision as pieces fell into place. Her career was on the bench this game. Love was the star player, and love was up to bat.

"Were you looking for me?" she asked..."All my life." he replied.

Mixed in with the romance, are threats against the President, Government, and The Colony. The Colony and FBI work together to try to keep everyone safe and take down the hostile parties. The teams are working machines and each team member has their place and talents to contribute. The last part of the book became really exciting, suspenseful, dangerous and led to a pulse pounding climax of the situation.

So there was romance, action, suspense, and a sense of brotherhood and family in this book. This series has a lot of potential due the intriguing story lines and richness of the characters. I am interested in the other stories and will read them. Book 2, United Service is expected in September 2013 and is about Raymond's half-breed son Sterling. Book 3 Enduring Service is about Raymond's sister Sulie and Former Director Dixon. These characters were well defined in the first book, I really liked them, and I look forward to their stories.

Thanks to Regina Morris for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review

I want to thank the author for allowing me to preview this ARC through The Book List Reviews at http://thebooklistreviews.blogspot.com/

I’m going with 3.5 on the first book in the series Eternal Service. The book is well written but the character development took up too much of the story for me.

Alex is given the chance to lead an elite group of vampires called the Colony that protects the president from other vampire threats. She will be the human liaison between the vampires and the Secret Service. It’s really not clear what in her background makes her qualified to lead this group but that didn't really bother me and I just accepted that she had the credentials. In this world vampires are not a known entity. She finds out about them in her interview for the job where she is introduced to Raymond the head of the vampires in the Colony. Raymond is instantly attracted to Alex and offers to explain what the job entails and basically to answer her questions about vampires to help her make the decision on whether or not she wants to sign up for the job. Taking the job would be a huge career move but would also be a life style change because the presence of vampires and the nature of her job would need to stay secret. During the next couple of days she finds herself mutually attracted to Raymond which is not making her decision on what to do any easier.

Let me hit the good first. Whenever I get an ARC I always worry about the editing. It amazes me how poorly written PNR books are written now a days. This is not the case here. She is a talented writer where the story flowed throughout the book. There is a wide variety of characters that had their own niche in the story. Although Ray and Alex dominated the story, I was intrigued with the rest of the characters to the point that I will be looking to the second book in the series.

What didn't work for me was the pace of the book. The character development seemed to take a long time. When I read PNR, I don’t mind if there is a lot of world building if it’s done through the story. But if the characters are going to be the focus in a PNR, I would rather it be steamier. If I’m looking for a building relationship type of story I will go to YA or New Adult. There also were parts of the story that seemed too scripted for reaction but didn't really fit the story.

I will probably be moving on with the series, hoping that we will get more story now that the bulk of the world building is done.

I have said it before, and I will say it again, and again the future I'm sure. With so many books out there now, and as many genres as there are, having a book that stands out is something that is very important with authors. If, as a reader, you are reading the same story over and over it gets very boring and annoying. Because honestly why am I going to be spending my money on a book that I can figure out what is going to happen in the end?

With this book, there were some parts where it was obvious what was going to happen. But they ended up working out during the course of the book because there were some parts that I didn't see coming, and some parts that made me laugh out loud. I actually highlighed in this book, which is one of those things that I don't do that often!!

“It's just odd. She couldn't have known about my stained clothing, and yet she asked what I was wearing.” (…) “You're so out of touch you didn't even see that fly lady wanting your ass and askin' for phone sex.” (…) Raymond looked down at his phone, and he shook his head. “Sounds a bit impersonal. Plus we have work to do,” Raymond said as he put his phone away. He wondered if phone sex was what the phone option *69 meant."

So as you can tell, there are some parts that are funny, ok that was funny to me at least! The characters that are introduced during the course of this book were done in a way that I was able to follow and understand what was going on. With this being the first book in a series, there was a little bit of information overload, but it didn't take over the whole story. While there were a lot of characters introduced you were able to focus on the main characters of this book.

All of the people in this book were explained in the way even after being introduced to them, later on in the story you could still recall information about them. The storyline itself was done really well also. You were able to follow the story, and the drama kept you turning the pages wanting to find out what was going to happen next.

All in all, I really enjoyed this book and I think it was a great start to a new series. I can't wait to see more from the author in the future!

Y'all know I love me some vampires. Hot, sexy, and very gentlemanly ones? All the better! I also believe I have said that I love it when an author takes vampire lore and makes it their own...puts a new spin on them. I am completely enamored with the premise of this series! A covert arm of the Secret Service comprised of vampires?!? Tasked with protecting the President from threats both mortal and immortal alike? Sign.Me.Up.

Eternal Service is the first in a new series. The premise alone intrigued me and the book did not disappoint. Eternal Service had the dubious job of doing all the world building for the series and Ms. Morris did an exceptional job. I can't say enough about how she took vampire lore and put her mark on it. The way vampires feed alters their appearance so they can blend into society. And an elite group is used to protect the President...Genius!

I was also captivated by the action and romance. The romance between the central characters, Alex and Raymond, had a slow build up which reflects the time in which Raymond grew up. The action was also slow in developing but very suspenseful. That Alex is Raymond's new director poses a minor problem since they are attracted to one another. And they both must work quickly, along with their team, to stop the latest threat to the President.

I adore all the characters that inhabit this new world. Alex and Raymond were obviously the focal couple for this book and I love them both. Alex, with her strength and intelligence, and Raymond, with his power and old world charm, are an excellent match.

As for the other characters, Sulie, who is Raymond's sister, Sterling, Raymond's son, Ben, Dixon, even William and Jackie, are all superbly drawn. I want to know what the future will bring for them entire team...but Sulie and Sterling in particular. *hint-hint*

Eternal Service is a splendid introduction to this new series. With a refreshing twist on vampires, well drawn characters and the right balance between romance and suspense, it is a very satisfying read. And I am anxious for the next installment.

This is the first in The Colony Series, and a new twist on the vampire mythos.
While the book started off with a scene of action, the pace seemed to shudder and halt for the next few chapters. Granted, Miss Morris had a lot of world and character building to do, but there were many times that the word flow of the tale seemed stilted and stiff, leading me to setting it down for an hour or two before I would come back to read some more.
That being said, I truly enjoyed her new spin on the overdone vampire myth. It was nice to read something that wasn't like every other vampire book out there, and not a single sparkle to be found! Overall the plot for Eternal Service was a good one. It wasn't entirely predictable, but it also didn't have me at the edge of my seat. There were several great points throughout and I must admit that I tittered at the idea of a super secret team of vampire protecting the POTUS.
Her characters, while diverse and each with their own personalities, unfortunately didn't connect with me on any sort of deep emotional level. I was especially sad to see no real evidence of her leading lady’s military career. As a former veteran myself, I really missed this important aspect to the character of Alex.
The greatest downfall for me was the romance. Unfortunately, I didn't feel a strong emotional attachment to the main characters and as a result their romance came across as somewhat slow, stiff, and not exactly ideal. Add in an open door bedroom scene that didn't even warm my cheeks and I was feeling rather let down by the whole romantic aspect.
As I was reading I did stumble across a few misspellings, mostly where a letter seemed left off of the end of the word. Once or twice I came across a sentence where a word seemed to be left out entirely and I had to reread to make sense of it.

I look forward to reading the rest of the series as I think Miss Morris has a good story idea here and will improve in her craft along the way.

Eternal Service introduces us to a new take on the paranormal romantic political suspense thriller. The twist being the Secret Service's secret branch "the Colony", who just happen to be vampires, each with unique gifts to aid in their efforts of crime busting, and the bad guys have fangs. Of course the humans, with the exception of a select few remain unaware of their existence, which is the purpose and goal of "the Colony" in their mission to protect the president and other endeavors. This installment is the beginning of the series and primarily focuses on Raymond the head vampire spook and Alex the new candidate for human director and liaison for the Colony. I enjoyed the world building and getting to know the characters. Raymond was a bit of a prig until you understand where his behavior stems from and he becomes much more interesting. Alex was fun to get to know; she is smart and savvy and a very capable woman who is no pushover and her portrayal very believable. Maybe there is a little insta-love going on here, but there is so much to take in with this original world it did not bother me. At times I felt the pacing was a little slow, but overall I really enjoyed the read and felt the conclusion left me feeling satisfied and eager to read more from this world. I requested this book from the author and received it with a request for my honest review without any compensation whatsoever, other than the joy of reading a new book.

I am reviewing this book for the blog Rising Indies United.

This is a new take on vampires. It kept me interested for the whole read, which is hard to do with vampire books lately, a lot are the same ideas over and over again. This wasn't one of those reads that's for sure. They can control how old, or young, they look with the amount of blood they consume.

Raymond is the leader of The Colony. The Colony is a coven of vampires that work to protect the President of the United States. They work with CIA, FBI, Department of Homeland Security. Only a select few humans know that vampires, do in fact exist. They have a liaison between The Colony and the President. That person is Dixon, he is on his way to retirement though and Alex will be taking his place.

Alex is a military lifer, the military is her career and she has put finding a husband and having children on the back burner, especially after an attack.

Raymond is a widower, but his wife died over 180 years ago. He hasn't loved a woman since. That is until he meets Alex. Their attraction is instant, but both have to overcome some things.

"Life is about taking risks and putting yourself out there, even if it means getting hurt along the way." ~Dixon

Overall, this was a great read and very interesting. It is a series that I would continue to read even if I wasn't reviewing it for the blog and it was a personal read for myself. I can't wait to start the next book.

4 1/2 stars!

This book caught me completely by surprise. It was really quite a unique experience. You have a group of vampires that are called The Colony, whose main existence is to protect the president. lol...Obviously the vampires aren't allowed to have a political opinion. You have an interesting variety of different vampires, and this story is about the oldest of the group, Raymond. Raymond is very old-fashioned and still very much in love with his dead wife. His family and friends worry about him because he has gone to long without companionship...then the new director walks in and blows Raymond's mind.

I liked a lot of different things about this book. The author gave an alternative feeding method to body parts and bags...I thought that was really cool. I liked the inventive way the author allowed the vampires to change their age and how they died. I loved the fact that Alex was older, not some 18 to 25 year old. It made the story more refreshing and relateable to me. I also liked the fact that all vampires didn't have powers. It made their species more interesting.

The story itself was amazing and completely engaging from beginning to end. I cannot wait to read more about this series. It has a very promising start!!

A fascinating take on the vampire tale for adults--black-op vampires in service to protect the President of the United States. In this case there's a whole community of vampires. The members of THE COLONY have a unique role to play, but also have an array of special talents including mind control, and they have the ability to mimic aging. Their perceptions of humans and their own vampire status vary from character to character making this a more complicated portrayal of 'life' as a vampire and their relationships with mortals. Things get way more complicated for lead character, Raymond Metcalf, when he meets mortal, Alex Brennan, who steps in as his superior. The attraction between them is immediate, but complicated by the special differences and the fact that she's his boss! Sexual tension grows as the story unfolds...where will it lead? This is an explicit, adults only vampire story, but I'll let you keep guessing on what happens between them. There's more to the story than the relationship between Raymond and Alex, though. Intrigue, office politics, terrorist plots, and not all vampires are good guys...plenty to keep you reading!

This story was not only an exciting read, it was an education. I always wondered while reading vampire stories before (which I love), what it would be like to date one and to fall in love with one as a human. When I read a story I really like to "get into it," can't you tell? :-) In Ms. Morris's story here, I put myself right in place of Alex while she met, dated and fell in love with Raymond. I like Ms. Morris's description of the "special, secret" protection service for the President and why it was formed. I liked her description of how blood supply was obtained and kept for the vampires in the President's service, her description of Alex's curiosity about all things vampire and the answers she derived from the vampires in the President's service, and how Alex came to love Raymond despite the differences. And, of course, there were bad guys and suspenseful action on subduing them! This story was really a great adventure and romance all rolled into one. I recommend this first of the series and intend to read the rest of the series as they are released.

I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review RHRC. This was an interesting book to read. Very creative use of vampires and new background for them as well. This was a half and half for me; half mystery trying to figure out who the bad guys are, and half getting around to the romance. The entire concept of Vampires guarding the President of the United States was pretty cool to me. It was fun to think about how the procedures went in the book, and wonder how they may actually differ in real life. I was a little bit disappointed in the romance side of things, but only because of how the characters responded to each other. I wanted to smack them upside the head - him more than her!! I did love the ending of the book, and am sincerely looking forward to reading more about the Colony (which is what the Vampires call themselves that guard the President). Oh, I also thought it was quite creative for the different vampires to have different abilities. Overall in a good, original read.

Title: Eternal Service - Book 1, "The Colony" series.
Author: Regina Morris
Format: ebook from Amazon (via Kindle app on my Samsung Galaxy S4).
Genre &/or keywords: Fiction, paranormal fiction, susoense, romance, paranormal romance, some hot sex!, drama, vampires, government, oh, probably a few more...
Read: October, 2015
My Goodreads rating: 3.5-4 "this was a great find!" stars (0-5 scale).

Brief remarks:

Well friends, color me very pleasantly surprised by this book! I'm rating it closer to 4 than 3.5, btw.

"Eternal Service" is such a terrific example of hy one should definitely not judge a book by it's cover (for me, at least)! Despite the fact that I happened to stumble across this book at either a 99 cent sale or for free, I seriously almost passed by it because the cover picture looks so, idk, kinda cheesy to me (it's extra not good after getting to know the characters! lol trust me, chipped up nail polish? yeah, no

"I received this book from the author for an honest review." I really enjoyed the various abilities of the characters, but found myself more interested in the stories of the background characters rather than the main two. I would have liked more development with Alex and what her job was, how it worked, and its overall impact on her relationship with Raymond. She seems to almost lose her identity during the story, and her job comes across as superfluous to the story, yet is pivotal to her life and that of the "Colony". The antagonist becomes almost an afterthought, despite being intelligent enough to organize an infiltration through some serious government security. Unless he wasn't the mastermind. Hmm. It was OK, so I gave two stars for this book. I think the storyline has great potential, but I just couldn't connect with the characters.

This was a great read and I really enjoyed it. It was nothing to steamy or sexual not even a real mushy love story. It was just a great romantic love story with some action. The author was great at pulling you in slowly but then kept your attention with the build up of not only the action of The Colony but the love story between the two main characters of Raymond and Alex but also the relationships of the other Colony members and some humans. It was a nice mix of the new and old vampire stories and made. Could there really be vampires living among humans and could the secret service really have a team of vampires protecting the president? Regina Morris can tell you a story that will have you wondering if it is possible and it is a great story. It was a fun read and if you like vampire stories and love stories then this is one you need to read.

I have to give thanks to the person that asked me to read this book :)
Let me count the ways that I am happy, first paranormal romance is my first love,
second, anything with vampires and werewolves just steal my heart and lastly, let's top it off with a little laugh out loud funny action.
There are writers and there are artists with pens, Ms Morris is an amazing talent with words and this book proves that she on her way to a world of excitement and dreams, we are talking books that can be turned into great movies!!!
Eternal Service is the first in a long line of great books in this series. Get ready to laugh yourself sick. Vampires in the White House this could explain our budget problems.
This is a series you need in your collection :)
We are dreaming on stars 5 of them*****
I was given this book in exchange for my honest review

Bought this book on my sister's recommendation and I liked it. Looking forward to reading the others in the series. I found the concept of vampires protecting the president very interesting. This book is first in the series and is the story of the founder of the Colony, Raymond and the lady fate brings into his life. This had all the things I love in a book - humor, good characters, intriguing story, romance, and some action too. A real page turner and the first book I read on my new Kindle. Kudos to Regina for a great read. I highly recommend this book.

First I love the cover! And This was such a unique vampire story!!! And I loved it! You have vampires protecting the President. The only thing I wish there was more of is the drama and more romance between Mr Teal eyes and Alex! But hopefully there will be more of that in the rest of the series !
