I have written romance stories since I was a teenager and more recently I have focused my writing on erotic romance.

I have had a lot of feedback from my readers and the tone or my stories seems to strike a chord with fans of books like Bared to You by Sylvia Day and Reflected in You by Sylvia Day. I think everyone who reads my kind of stories has already read 50 Shades of Grey and the Bared to You Crossfire novels.
Between E L James and Sylvia Day these ladies are responsible for generating huge interest in the genre of stories I happen to write.
I am sure my stories will never reach the dizzy heights of success that 50 Shades of Grey, Bared to You, and Reflected in You have already reached... but I am having fun trying.

Jack is back with a vengeance and still willing to do whatever it takes to find his missing sister. In this book he teams up with a woman named Celia Walker who is looking for her missing sister as well. Jack heads to a town called Heston's Cove where he hopes to find clues on his sisters whereabouts while searching for Celia's sister Katrina Walker. Katrina was mixed up with a Dom that owns a local club, and is presumed dead. Jack and Celia go under cover as Dom and submissive to search for Katrina. As usual Jack Stone is his bad ass, get results, alpha male self. He does anything needed to get his answers. He has him some hot no commitment sex. He always manages to find time in his busy schedule for the ladies! ;)& then as usual, he is on his way to the next town or place in search of his sister. I really hope he finds Susan in the next book!

-"deadly revenge, Jack. An eye for an eye."

-"I'm an alpha kind of guy, Celia. I like being in control, and I like being dominant," he said.

-"Learning the skills of a master suited my personality-but it's only half the story."

-"You're the kind of bad-boy my mom warned me to avoid-and yet below that tough exterior, I get the feeling you're a good man."

-Stone was big and muscled across the shoulders and chest, his body fined down narrow in the waist. The summer sun had browned his skin and the lines of his features were all sharp hard angles.

-"I only know what it means to be effective," Stone said.

-Either the legal way....or my way."

-It was a moment torn straight from her dreams. A wild, wet, perfect dream. Celia felt her body burning with desire.

-I'll never forget you Jack. You're a heartbreaker."

I accepted a free copy of Deadly Revenge in exchange for this review. The continuing adventures of the author's implausible hero Jack Stone, are a feast for fans of erotica. Evocative and arousing descriptions of unusual, and in this reader's opinion, perverted sexual activity, dominate a weak plot.

The action sequences are tense and fast paced. While initially irritated by the author's habit of often omitting the subject of her sentences, I soon aligned with her rhythm and found it quite enjoyable and easy to read. The static descriptions are good too: precise and atmospheric.

My big problem was that Deadly Revenge struck me as a triumph of style over substance, which isn't a problem if that's what you like, and clearly many readers do. Jack Stone is an unlikeable caricature, as are most of the characters. I don't feel that I learned anything about them, nor was there any character development, and consequently I didn't care about them.

Deadly Revenge is not a bad book at all, but it is the literary equivalent of a one night stand.

Another very good and exciting chapter in the life of Jack Stone and his ongoing search for his sister. Par for the course, he's back to assisting people in need and doling out his own brand of justice.

When Celia Walker's sister goes missing, she calls Jack Stone for help. When he learns that her sister, Katrina, may have gotten involved in BDSM and then disappeared, he jumps at the chance to find out if that may be a new lead on his missing sister, Susan. It isn't long before they receive word that Katrina was murdered. In her grief, Celia implores Jack to help her get revenge on the man responsible. In order to do some sleuthing inside the club, Jack and Celia have to pose as the perfect D/s couple. And so begins her crash course in the art of submission 101.

I liked this second installment more than the first. The plot was exciting in terms of action and an unexpected plot twist that I didn't see coming. Jack is still the mysterious hero, but we're afforded more insight into the type of man he is. He's a straight-forward man who says it like it is. Women still fall at his feet and he's more than happy to oblige. The heroine this time was a much better fit. She was a feisty little thing when she got riled up, and that led to one particularly funny scene in the story. Vivien Sparx's hero works so well because he's not only wickedly delicious, but he's also unobtainable. I really enjoyed this adventure, and I can't wait to find out what will be coming his way next. This can be read as a standalone and best of all, no cliffhangers!

Disclaimer: I received an ARC from the author for the purpose of an honest review.

JACK IS BACK! And damn is he back with a vengeance! Prepare yourself for another white knuckle ride with the one of the darkest, most determined, no holds barred characters you will ever meet. Men want to be like him and women want to be with him. He makes no promises about the future, leaves without a backward glance and impacts everyone in
his path.

Do not read Jack Stone looking for a happily ever after. Read Jack Stone because you want to be shaken to the core. Read Jack Stone because you are looking for something
unique that will rock your world and leave you wanting more. Read Jack Stone because you are looking for a real man that believes in the difference between right and wrong
and is willing to fight for what he believes to be right.

You may not always agree with Jack's tactics but you will respect him and want him your bed if only for the brief time he stays. Read Jack Stone, you will not be sorry!

Again…W.O.W…. Every woman deserves an encounter with a man like Jack Stone! I don’t know if they really exist, ladies, but these books do!!!! This is the second book in the Jack Stone Series!

I am so in love with this series….and the hero! He is no holds barred….He straight up tells you how it’s going to be……..He is relentless……

I am not going to be able to help myself in hoping for an eventual HEA for Jack Stone, but so far after each book I want it to be that heroine….

I love the way these stories are structured. There are pieces that are solved for the ones in distress and each of those pieces leads Jack a little closer to finding his sister. I can just imagine these books as a series of movies and all the action!!

Thank you to Vivien Sparx for ANOTHER fantastic read that kept me on the edge of my seat!!!!

I like different stories, different plots. If you are like me, I think you would like this. It is an erotic suspense, very near to action. Our hero is Jack Stone, he is a super alpha hot hereo. The story is about kidnapping and investigation. Jack Stone: Deadly Revenge is the second on the Dark Masters series. It is very well written, Vivien found the way of make amazing descriptions in action sequences. I love the book, it keep you wanting to know what is going to happen next.

One of my favorites phrases of the book:

Stone shook his head. Sighed. "what kind of revenge, Celia?". "The deadly kind", she sid bitterly. "Deadly revenge, Jack. An eye for an eye."

If you want to read something different with hot sex escenes, action and suspense. This one is for you. A MUST READ.

Synopsis:
Jack Stone
is a man who knows how to get a job done. Be it a private military extraction or getting his women off, he goes into a situation, assess the possible outcomes, and quickly gets outs, most of the time with the very thing he was searching for. Smooth and edgy, dangerous and charming, dominant and sexy, and most of all intelligent and deadly. Jack comes highly recommend as the man you need in your corner when trying go after a kidnapper and/or murder.

Dangerous, hot, and a dominant alpha male, what more could you ask for?!

When Jack is contacted by by Celia Walker--sister to the missing woman, Katrina Walker-- he is presented with a new job opportunity. [Celia has been searching for her sister for a while. When Katrina stopped communicating with her sister, Celia became worried and needed answers. She suspects that her sister's new lifestyle in the BDSM world may be the culprit behind her disappearance, but hasn't found anything substantial to support that theory yet.] Unfortunately, for her Jack isn't in the market for new business ever since his own sister went missing. He's been scouring all over the country looking into the BDSM and sex trade business as well. Still turning up with no leads. But after a brief and desperate conversation with Celia he weights the pros and cons and finds that there may be something in it for him after all. Her sister may be just the lead he's been looking for.

He travels to Heston's Cove, Katrina's new home, to meet with Celia. With a very simple plan in mind Jack and Celia canvas the area for any clues that may tell them where her sister may be. When questioning the small town yields little to no answers Jack and Celia decide to up the stakes by going undercover. This involves quickly teaching Celia the basics of being submissive and infiltrating the club that might hold all the answers.

What quickly follows is the heated exchange of passion, power, and dominance-all in the name of finding out the truth. Jack and Celia stumble upon people who not only hold the secrets to what happened to Katrina, but who are preview to the bigger issue of sex trafficking. Once they stumble upon the identity of the man involved in the disappearance, Dom, the tables quickly turn. Jack acts fast and plays his hand exposing his purpose and what he expects in return. But the last thing he expects is to find a very real live answer to all the questions that involve the two missing women he's been searching for.

Money laundering, sex trade, drug tracking, fist-to-fist combat, murder, and even a little s/M all provide for a good with enough action to have you sitting on the edge of your seat.

The Best Thing:
I like that there were layers to the story.
One missing girl turns into thousands, millions, that are tricked or kidnapped and forced into the world of sex trafficking. The story gives you just enough about some characters to keep you guessing what may happen next, who might pop up with answers to a bigger cover-up.

I will say that I'm excited for a couple of reasons. One, I want Jack to find his sister. I want him to bring the people behind her disappearance to justice (a little fighting might be exciting). Two, I'd like to learn more about Jack's personality. Other than loving his sister, what else captures his attention, who else does he hold close to his heart? Overall I want to this this series develop more because it definitely has the potential.

The Worst Thing:
I never felt connected to Jack. I understand he has this wall up and has to be cold, calculated, and always about business, but even knowing that he wasn't going to get serious with Celia, I still felt like I was missing parts of his personality. For instance if he was hurt during the process of his investigation I don't think I would have cared much. (Not a good thing... I should care) It just seemed like he was written to be only about business and so the reader only saw one side of him, a side that doesn't encourage a connection. He's written almost as if he's a supporting character.

Another small issue I had was with Celia. Maybe it's me being picky, but she irritated me. She calls crying for Jack--a professional--to help find her sister, but then when she's left out of certain dangerous situations she puts everyone at risk by trying to do the very thing Jack asked her not to do. [I know your pissed Celia for being tied up for hours, but damn you're killing the overall picture here.]

Deadly Revenge, the second instalment in Vivien Sparx' The Dark Master Series does not disappoint.

To a woman Jack Stone exudes raw, intense sensuality, with his ruggedly handsome good looks and alpha male tendencies. But to a man on Jack Stone shit list he reeks of finely honed menace, determination and all kinds of trouble.

Though his intentions seem noble it's still very clear that Jack always has an ulterior motive. His own reasons for the actions he takes, these reasons lead back to one thing and one thing alone, his single minded pursuit in finding his missing sister.

Managing to get caught up in the darker side of the dbsm world wasn't exactly what aspiring model Katrina Walker had in mind when she moved from her home town to California. Nonetheless, and much to her sister Celia's surprise this is exactly where she ended up. A combination of Katrina's withdrawal and the constant secrecy about her new life plagues Celia for months, but when Katrina ceases all communication with her, concern turns to desperation and not knowing where to begin her search Celia seeks out Jack Stone's special band of assistance.

What can I say about Celia Walker.... she's so proper and elegant, every bit a lady and serious to a fault. Her life is somewhat lacking in the "FUN" department, and it just has to be said that this woman seriously needs to get laid. Lucky for her Jack Stone is just the man for the job.

Following his instincts and what he hopes may be his next clue in finding his sister, Jack makes his way to the seaside town of Heston's Cove, California.
Jack is no saint and doesn't make excuses for himself, nor does he make promises he can't keep. But will agreeing to help out a friend of a friend in her search to find her missing sister lead him closer to finding the truth about what happened to Susan? Or will his charge manage to unwittingly lead him into the kind of trouble even Jack Stone can't find a way out of?

Watching these two characters come together was an absolute pleasure, and sexy as hell. Being from different back grounds, living different lives and with very different ideals it was hard to imagine them coming together so effortlessly. It almost makes me sorry that Jack isn't a wife and kids kinda guy... Almost!

As always Jack's unique style of investigative skills manages to draw the attention of well... pretty much everyone in town. The local authorities are none too impressed with his no holds barred tactics and drag him in for questioning. This run in leads to Jack being privy to vital information about Katrina's disappearance, Information that not only shatters Celia's heart, but all hope of finding her sister alive.
Ms Sparx captured beautifully Celia's initial refutation, and ensuing grief & anguish over this heartbreaking discovery. The transformation in Celia at this point is spectacular. Changing her irrevocably and giving her character a welcomed edge.

Our BIG BAD comes in the form of Dominic D'Astinga aka The Dom, owner of The Cage (a local bdsm club) and all round shady guy. This character's cruel and hideous nature is enough to make your skin crawl, and set off every internal alarm bell.
Celia somehow manages to convince Jack that going to The Cage, undercover as a D/s couple in the hopes of gathering more information about Katrina's "disappearance" is a good idea. But after just one night Jack's instincts tell him The Dom is not only an egotistical bastard and dangerous with a capital D, but most probably the key to finding the truth about Celia's sister. This little discovery leaves Jack with no choice but to take matters into his own hands.

WARNING!! This instalment of The Dark Master series definitely ups the ante, the twists and turns in this storyline are enough to give you whiplash, and keep you on the edge of your seat till the very last page. I can't wait to get my hands on book #3 of this intriguing and amazingly sexy series.

Jack Stone continues his quest to find his missing sister in the second installment of The Dark Master Series as he travels to California in search of clues. Vivien Sparx has turned up the heat in book #2, allowing Jack to really demonstrate more of his skills as a BDSM Master.

Jack Stone is a card-carrying alpha -- a combination of James Bond and Chuck Norris....only more mysterious and deadly. He's former military and former hostage rescue team. In this installment of The Dark Master Series, Jack is contacted to help a woman, Celia Walker, find her missing sister, leading him to travel to another small town with secrets, Heston Cove. Jack doesn't own a car, so he travels by bus or thumb to his destinations. He only owns what he can carry in a knapsack on his back.

Celia's missing sister, Katrina Walker, disappeared under suspicious circumstances and has the same background as Jack's sister. Jack is willing to help Celia, but only because it could provide him with another clue to his sister's whereabouts. He never forgets and never strays from his mission.

Like many of our alpha heroes we find in our books, Jack is one worth panting over, turning the heads of women where ever he travels. He is definitely a hero who can please a woman, but he remains alone. Vivien Sparx has painted a dominant hero who has the reader loving the chase. We always tend to love the thrill of the chase, the games of hard to get...never quite catching the man. I felt that way with Jack Stone. I love the chase, knowing that he only has one mission on his mind without room for the complications of a relationship. Jack belongs to no woman, yet women fall at his feet begging to be owned by Jack. He makes no promises, he's hard and dangerous, and you just can't help but fall for Jack Stone.

"You're the kind of bad-boy my mom warned me to avoid -- and yet below that tough exterior, I get the feeling you're a good man."

Jack Stone is three different men in my eyes. He's the compassionate man with a heart; he's the forceful BDSM Master with a hint of danger in his eyes who plays rough without ever disrespecting women; and he's the dangerous and deadly man who has no fear and will not be threatened or intimated by anyone. He isn't afraid of physical altercation, but he doesn't leave any question as to his use of physical means to get any information he wants. His character is strong, forceful, quiet, and determined.

"Yes," he said. "I am a bastard. I'm the original bastard, Celia. And I know it's not fair. But I don't play by anyone's rules -- except my own. That's why I always win -- and that's what makes me dangerous.

While Jack investigates and follows clues to find Kristina Walker, Celia's sister, he runs into his share of resistance. I was drawn into his quest from the beginning, following every clue right along with Jack and Celia. There is a surprise twist in this book that I never saw coming, along with a couple of laugh out loud moments with how Jack handles Celia's hot headed anger issues and any assumptions she might have about the two of them.

Vivien Sparx has created another book with this alpha hero who has me engrossed in every action packed detail. Just as added information, The Dark Master Series is a companion series to Vivien Sparx's Her Master's Kiss series. There is no cliffhanger, even though this is a continuing series. These books are very fast reads, and although they can be read as standalones, I recommend that they be read in order to get a true feel for Jack Stone and his background. I look forward to where Jack Stone takes me as he searches for the next clue to finding his sister, Susan, in Jack Stone: No Way Out.

Jack Stone is a simply amazing character! Seriously, he has everything that a woman could possibly want: he’s hot, he’s a dom, he’s alpha to the max, and he’s as tough as nails, but also knows how to be soft and tender when necessary. He’s the epitome of male hotness. I know that sounds hard to believe, but he truly is. Oh, and did I mention that he can kick some serious ass? Yes, you heard it, he’s a fighter, well, not in the traditional sense but he can do some serious damage when necessary which is super hot to read about (that may be a personal thing with me though…guys who can kick other guys’ asses are seriously sexy to me).

Anyway, Deadly Revenge is the second installment in the series (but the book can also be read as a stand-alone). The story begins with a woman (Katrina Walker) being ran off the road and left for dead. Katrina’s sister (Celia) then reaches out to Jack for help in locating her. As the story unfolds Jack learns some more bits and pieces about his own sister’s disappearance while discovering the truth behind Katrina’s disappearance. When Jack discovers the “truth” about Katrina’s disappearance Celia vows to avenge her sister by going after the Dom that hurt her. However, Jack and Celia both learn about an important facet of the situation that threaten everything and everyone involved.

The book is wonderfully written. The author has amazing talent in that her writing flows well and everything is described perfectly (you seriously feel like you’re in the story alongside the characters). She also develops all of her characters. Jack is a multi-dimensional character, as well as Celia. The story itself is also paced very well and will get your adrenalin pumping. At times you will be happy, sad, scared, angry, and frustrated. I also have to say that I love how well written the fight scenes are. Unlike a lot of female authors, this one actually takes the time to describe the power and technique behind the fighting. In fact, the fight scenes were some of my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, the sex scenes were amazing as well, but the fight scenes are extra special (in my opinion anyway).

This book doesn’t disappoint and even though it’s erotica I’m sure that male readers would thoroughly enjoy the book as well. Once you pick it up you won’t be able to put it down.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

I love when you start a new book and it starts with a bang. It sets the pace and gives me a good feeling about what’s to come. Well Deadly Revenge did that but it actually started with a crash! Something else I’ve learned about Jack Stone, he’s going to have a woman tied up. And she is…until Jack gets a phone call about a missing woman.

Jack is still looking for his sister, having been told that she is alive. What peeks his interest is that the missing woman had also been involved in the world of sexual slavery. No woman will keep him from his goal and he lets current fling know he’s leaving. Of course she isn’t thrilled but…
“I don’t play games with women’s hearts, Melanie,” he said simply. “I never made you any promises. You knew when we met that it could only ever be for a short time. I’ve always been clear on that.”

Now he’s in California, going to help Celia find her sister Katrina and at the same time hoping to find out what may have happened to his sister, Susan. Now this is where some fun begins. Celia and Jack have to pose as a couple in a serious D/s relationship. She falls into the role well and this grants them entrance into a club that Katrina frequented. He gains some clues and decides to come back to the club later to get answers.

From this point on it is fast paced with LOTS of action. I really enjoyed book 2 in Jack’s search for his sister. But obviously his search will continue. And, once again he’s leaving another woman heartbroken and wanting more than he can give. Now I leave you with one of my favorite lines in the story:
“Yes,” he said. “I am a bastard. I’m the original bastard, Celia. And I know it’s not fair. But I don’t play by anyone’s rules – except my own. That’s why I always win – and that’s what makes me dangerous.”

I give Deadly Revenge 4.5 stars. Plenty of action and steam in this action packed story!

This was my first Jack Stone novel and will not be my last. I felt that I didn't get the whole background of Jack Stone and what makes him tick though. Deadly Revenge is the second book in the series, so I am going to read the first to get a better feel for the brooding, sexy Stone.

Jack is on a mission to find his missing sister. He is certain she has been taken unwillingly into the BSDM lifestyle and has learned all he can about it to fit in and find her. While Jack Stone seems like a sexy guy, the sex scenes weren't too steamy, I was expecting a bit more from him. He gets a call from Celia Walker asking for his help in finding her missing sister.

Celia Walker's sister has ended up in the underground BDSM world and is feared dead. Jack sees this as a way to help Celia and maybe get closer to finding his own sister. Jack can't move on with his life knowing his sister is out there somewhere. He agrees to help Celia and heads from Arizona to California.

I like that Jack flies under the radar, not drawing attention to himself and then turns around and is a total bad ass. He infiltrates a BDSM club looking for the missing sister as well as info on his own. There he meets The Dom, the leader of a human trafficking ring. Jack and Dom end up going head to head and I will have to say, this was may favorite part of the book.

While this isn't a terribly romantic or sexy read, it is action packed and Vivien Sparx is a very descriptive author. She sets the scene so you can picture it in your head as you read. I enjoyed my first glimpse of Jack Stone and wouldn't mind some more. Well written, love the detail!

This book was interesting. First off I have to admit I didn't read the first one in this series, and maybe I should go back and read it, so I can see for myself how the story begins.

Jack Stone is looking for his sister that has disappeared, thought at one time to be dead, but later seen somewhere, he is desperate to find her and that is his main focus. Along his path of trying to find her and looking for any leads he runs into others that need his assistance.

The book is just mainly that, Stone looking for leads and following them where ever they take him. If he just so happens to solve a case and save someone along way, all the better, this is his story and others wants and needs don't have room for his focus unless if it benefits him.

I had a hard time with some of the slang, as it takes place in the United States but the slang isn't. Timber when it should be wood, suspenders when it should be garter (for garter belt), hire car instead of rent-a-car. Little things like that, but are easy to look over. Just takes a few minutes to understand and them move on.

I am interested in seeing where Jack Stone is taken next, and what other things he will run into. I would think it would happen sooner or later that he finds his sister, otherwise it would get old fast. So I will be looking out for future installments as long as it doesn't drag on. This book felt like it was the middle of the story, and too many middles can make you fat and lazy.

Jack Stone - Deadly Revenge is the second book in this series by Vivien Sparx. If you have not read the first book I strongly urge you to do so before finishing this review. The series is about the same man, Jack Stone, who is on a mission to find his sister who he strongly believes is being forced to be a sex slave.

In this book Jack gets a call requesting help from Cilia Walker. She is a romance writer who gets a serious lesson in the bedroom. She is looking for her sister who she has slowly lost her relationship over the years and has recently lost all contact which has her scared for her sister’s life. While trying to find answers about Cilia’s sister Jack is also hoping it will lead him closer to his own.

One thing you should know about Jack is he is a SLUT!! He is the perfect bed partner while he is around but he makes no promises to any woman and it just makes every one of them want him more. I love guys who know exactly what they want and are not afraid to be upfront about it right away. Although I must say that the woman Jack ends up with will be one lucky lady and I cannot wait to meet her in the future! So for those of you reading this that does mean this is not your average happy ending, but trust me when I say that it is worth the money to buy all of these books so you can read them over and over again.. I know I will be!

I give this book a 5 star review because I love Jack Stone and the story line of this whole series. I can’t wait for the next book to come out just to see the next woman who is lucky enough to get a taste of Jack.

I called it from the start - this is THE series of the year! I just finished Deadly Revenge and I'm already dying for Book #3!

The second book in a series usually lacks muster, but Vivien Sparx slayed it with Deadly Revenge! The Jack Stone series just gets better and better!

Jack Stone is even more kick-ass the second time around! Vivien Sparx took everything great about Jack Stone in Wild Justice and amplified it a million times over in Deadly Revenge. To put it simply - Jack Stone is hotter, sexier, more focused, more dominate and more intriguing than we've ever seen him! What can I say - Jack Stone is one giant turn-on! I don't know what I like more - watching Jack dominate inside or outside the bedroom.

This series is such a break from the monotonous romance books that we all love. Jack Stone is the amazeballs mix of an intriguing storyline, an intricate, fast-paced plot, diverse characters, and a book boyfriend that does things HIS way. And his way is HOT. This book combines equal doses of mystery, drama, action, and sex.....if there were ever a series that needs to be made into a movie - this is it! (And, for the record, Charlie Hunnam is MY Jack Stone.)

When you start Jack Stone (and you should start NOW!), make sure you have nothing to do for a few hours – you won’t be able to put it down. Go 'one click' on this series now, ladies! Jack Stone - you've never read anything like it!

Welcome to a world where hot BDSM meets suspense and mystery. Jack Stone is on a never-ending quest to find his missing sister when he is called upon by Celia to help locate her missing sister as well. Turns out both may have gotten caught up in the dark world of BDSM sex slavery and so Jack and Celia meet in a little town called Heston's Cove. And thus our story begins. Jack is a hot-blooded alpha who does what he wants, when he wants and doesn't look back. He's also into BDSM and enjoys having a woman submit to him completely. Celia is a stranger to the Dom/sub sexual experience but she will do whatever is necessary to find her sister so she begs Jack to teach her all she needs to know. What follows are HOT explicit sex scenes that will leave you panting as you're turning the pages, unable to put the story down. What I liked about this story is that the author not only can write a steamy erotic sex scene but she is equally talented when writing murder and suspense. She combines the two into an explosive plot that takes you into a world of danger. While the story does come to a conclusion, it's not your usual HEA, which is nice for a change. I'm looking forward to the next installment of Jack Stone's story to see where it will lead and who he will meet.

I received a free copy for an honest review.
I really enjoyed book 2 of the Jack Stone series. It was fast moving and a page turner. Love the descriptive writing, I felt it did a great job of giving me what I needed to picture what was happening, I had read book 1 and was afraid like a lot of series books that the second one would be a big disappointment. Not so with this one I honestly can say I enjoyed this one even more than the first.
The story was great. I love how Jack is so complex. He has lots of different layers that get peeled back every so often. This is not a romance with a HEA, yet I find the romantic aspects satisfying enough and the story complete enough at the end I don't feel like I'm left hanging like some of the cliff hangers I have read. It does entice me to want to read the next episode.
Now for the aspects I didn't really care for.
I'll try not to give away spoilers but I didn't like the parting conversation. I felt like I was in a old movie with the cheesy ending they used sometimes. I liked his response but hers was too much, I felt embarrassed for her.
When you read it you will know what I mean, because I would definitely recommend you reading this book. This story is well written and a series I will be following.

Gave review in Amazon as well, Under Ruby's Java Corner. As promised, read this ARC copy from Vivian in return for an honest review.

First off, I've yet to read the first book of this series which I plan to get and read before I get to the third book.
When I first read this book, not knowing what to expect..... *happy sigh* I was hooked and reeled in with the way the story opened up from the beginning and was so enraptured to the end! I am anticipating the next book!!!
This was a perfect read for me as it has everything I love in a book, from mystery to fast-pace actions mayhem to erotica. I absolutely loved the fact she weaved such nail-biting suspense riding on top of such steamy interactions with door in the face ending that's left me gasping like fish out of water. Can't wait to dive right into the next one!
Jack Stone is a serious sexy man in search of his missing sister. As he goes on a hell-bent mission, he also gives us steamy erotica mixed along with some brawl actions and clever pretenses in getting some answers or more clues all the while helping Celia find her sister.

Loved it! Can you say sexy and dangerous. I didnt get a chance to read the first book, I was still able to get the understanding from this one. Jack is a one man wrecking machine. His only intent basically is to find his sister.
Jack is a love 'em leave them kind of guy, but he also doesnt tell the women any different. He is a very controlled Dom, something he got into so when he looked for his sister the playing field was even.
Celia is up for spinsterhood, looking for a starry eyed sister. She enlists the help of Jack, they both find themselves in a situation neither of them are sure about. In order to get into the club that may lead them to her sister, they need to become Dom and sub.
I really enjoyed the story even without having read the first one, you can devel into the surprises and catch your breath at the turns. Nothing is as it seems as the seedy nature of sex slaves and human trafficking is uncovered.
The few sex scenes are hot, the story line believable (unfortunately), and the characters worth cheering for... yay team Jack/Celia. Enjoy

WOW!!!! I so love Jack Stone!!!!!!
If you haven't started reading this series you are seriously missing out!!! Vivien always seems to get better and better!!! A must read for any one who enjoys action, suspense, and steamy love scenes. We find Jack still looking for his sister, he's been spending time with a lady in Arizona waiting to find the next clue to where his sister might be, and then he receives a phone call from another lady looking for her sister in California and when he finds out what's going on out there he heads out in his usual way which is hitchhiking. He makes his way to Heston's Cove and finds much more than he thought he would. He does actually find out some clues to his sister's whereabouts but he's still at a loss at to where she might be, but I know he'll find her. If you followed Her Master's Kiss series then you know what happens!!!!
I love the way Vivien knows exactly how to wrap you up in her characters and make you feel what they feel and makes you root for them no matter what!!!
Good Job Vivien!!!!! Keep up the amazing writing!!!!!

Jack Stone is the epitome of a sexy, alpha and all stoic man. Jack is looking for his sister Susan , who we learned on the first book of the series , was presumed dead. Jack learned she had been kidnapped and made into a sex slave. In this story , Jack is in Phoenix when He gets a call from Celia Walker about her missing sister Katrina and convinces Jack to help her in California.
Jack decides to do so and starts digging in the town until He gets access to the Cage , a BDSM club , were Katrina works.
The story develops in the efforts of Jack finding the truth about Katrina, learning about her life , with the help of Celia.
Jack gets closer to Celia , but like the author well explained Jack is no one woman's man.
The way the story is told is excellent and it helps the same flows.
This is a must read , that way you will discover the conclusion...
And like Jack ... I said nothing.

Jack Stone returns in Deadly Revenge and he is hotter than ever!

Still on the quest to find his missing sister Jack will leave know stone unturned until he achieves his goal, and he will let nothing get in his way, including relationships. Don’t get me wrong there is some smoking hot sex going on in his books but don’t get your hopes up on him sticking around. He is very upfront with the women he beds. They know that he is not the type to pin their hopes and dreams on since they don’t know how long he will be around.

We get more of the great action scenes more of the mystery and more of the sex scenes that are bound to melt your e-reader.

If you like tough Alpha Men who know what they want then you will want to read Jack Stone.

Jack Stone is a man on a mission. His quest to find his sister has Jack searching the world of BDSM clubs where she was sold into sexual slavery. Celia Wagner comes to Jack for help. Together they dive into the world of Dom's and Sub's looking for answers and their missing sisters.
This book is not a romance novel. Jack Stone doesn't do love. What this book is, is an suspenseful adventure fueled by steamy sex scenes! "It's only once you are exhausted and you have been pushed to places you never knew existed that you can finally reach within yourself and start to explore what the thrill of surrender is all about." That is what Jack Stone will do, take you on a thrilling journey of intense danger and smokin' hot sex.

Where to start....Jack Stone is a man's MAN. Tough as nails, believes right is right and wrong is just wrong! Jack Stone is the man every man wants to be and the man we ladies all want. He's on a mission to find his sister who has been kidnapped and being used as a sex slave. Jack helps people in trouble on his own terms and in his own way. He takes no prisoners whether it's the bad guy or the ladies he beds. Jack gives the women what they want and will NEVER forget. He never looks back...no return visits, no commitments. If you are looking for "happily ever after" you have the wrong man. If you want a man who is is tough as nails, sexy as hell than JACK STONE is your man!! Love him!! Don't miss him...this book is a great read that doesn't follow your normal HEA scenerio. Can't wait to see what's next with Jack!!!

I have read multiple books by Vivien Sparx and I love how she brings a story to life. This story was no exception, it is primarily a mystery or story about solving a crime with a very hot and steamy side. Wow, can she write hot & steamy! This is the 2nd book in the Jack Stone series, but I did not read the first and really enjoyed this book. I believe the series is about Jack Stone who is looking for his missing sister. He believes she was forced into being a sex slave. In this book, he meets a young woman looking for her sister, who has a very similar story and he agrees to help her. There is a definite chemistry between these characters and the story is one you won’t want to put down. I enjoyed it so much, I will be going back to read “Jack Stone – Wild Justice” and following the rest of the series to read more about the sexy, gorgeous, dominant Jack Stone.

Review:
This book is definitely a BDSM book. The first chapter is covered in it.

Jack Stone is an Alpha male I woud love to meet and then let him go. He is not one to be tyed down. Oh, he does the tieing, hehe. A tough, hard, and sexy man. Mmmmm.

I only have one complaint with this book. The girl....Celia Walker.

She meets Jack Stone, learning about her sister and now wants to play BDSM like it is some game.

What is she? Nuts? She thinks being a submissive is easy. She really would not survive the down grading that happens in BDSM.

This female character is just not in the correct state of mind.

The story line had me on the edge of my seat flipping pages very fast hoping to find out what would be next.

I loved the part where Jack Stone kicks the Dom’s butt. It showed me, as a reader, how tough Jack Stone really is.

4 Stars

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Jack Stone is back in this second book of the Dark Master series. Still on the trail of his missing sister, Jack finds himself in California where a missing woman may be just the thing he needs to get some answers.

While Deadly Revenge is part of a series, the basic underlying arc of the series remains the same and each book so far had little bearing on each other so you could easily read them out of order.

This book had a few tricks up its sleeves in the plot twist department that I didn’t even see coming and will surely keep you on your toes. And much like the first book Wild Justice, Deadly Revenge serves up a blend of steamy sex scenes, fist flying action, and a peek behind the BDSM curtain that is sure to tantalize guys and gals alike.

JACK STONE - DEADLY REVENGE (Alpha Male) (The Dark Master Series)...
Jack Stone's Deadly Revenge Book 2

I love this series and this book was as good as the first. We learn more about Jack, as he is assisting another woman Celia who is trying to locate her sister who has also gone missing from a BDSM club. Jack is a BDSM master; he learned the skills to try to find his sister who had vanished. Jack finds some clues along the way as well as having a very hot relationship with Celia. Jack is a very caring, mysterious man who tells it like it is with the women he beds. He is the ultimate Alpha Male, who is on a mission, and this booked moved along quickly and held my interest until the end.
I will definitely be reading more Vivien Sparx, and you will not be disappointed if you give Jack Stone's novels a try.
