I’ve been searching for this book for a long time, so I had some pretty high expectations for it when I heard it about being like a slasher. I was truly not disappointed with what I got. It’s more violent with axe murders through the skull and some scenes with a pretty upset snake. I am very glad to have found it at a great cheap price and I wish it gets reprinted so that more people can enjoy it. If you find a cheap copy out there in the reading world give it a read

It's not bad as the plot was a bit interesting but it's just a generic slasher.

The plot's basically a race against time which does have some tension but the content of the book is lacking due to it being generic slasher.

Also the structure of book can a bit jarring because it tends to switch P.O.V of other characters so much that it makes the main character too flat and not much development aside that she's assertive in solving murder case.

There's a twist at the end which I found superfluous
because it feels phoned in at the last book, as if it's to make up the lack of guessing whodunit.

Overall, it's readable slasher book with some action at least but not worth searching.
