So I got the leading ladies Humble Bundle and this was my first read. I love the visuals but the story doesn’t make much sense to me, although I found the ending clarified things. It did resonate emotionally with me, though, so I liked it even if I found it confusing.
This didn't click for me, honestly. There wasn't... Enough here, the art was kind of difficult to follow, and if it was trying to hit horror I couldn't really tell what was going on enough to be scared by it. The concept is solid enough, which is why it gets a star, but the execution wasn't all there.
I wanted to like this bizarre, folk-horror meets German Expressionist comic one-shot, and I tried, but it just felt a little undercooked. There are great ideas here and a few great visuals, but it doesn't really add up to anything, and the tacked-on twist ending doesn't help either.
I think visually this book is very striking/ art is excellent but I couldn’t connect with the story it’s written like a poem or something out of Shakespeare it was confusing and a little pretentious in my opinion
I got this via the Leading Ladies Humble Bundle. I can’t say that I liked the artwork, but it does have something. As for the story, I found it confusing.
