A great book on the coming times. I always enjoy Tony Evans because of the excitement he gives in learning and obeying God's Word. That excitement is transmitted to his readers. You can see that Tony Evans really enjoys learning about the Word of God and how it should effect the reader. Dr. Evans not only talks about what heaven will be like, but also about what hell will be like for the lost person.

Great book on the end times. Tony is a great author as well as a preacher. I appreaciated his views and outlook on traditionally misunderstood prophecies and commonly misquoted verses.

I am a fan of Tony Evans. I love to hear him preach. I have read some of his books and have found them very useful. In ‘The Best is Yet to Come’, Evans walks thru the Bible exploring references to the end times. Much of the book is very helpful: connecting Old Testament and New Testament passages; exploring what scripture says about heaven and hell; correcting misunderstandings about God.

But in this we differ: I read a Revelation a little differently. Where Evans promises the Church a rapture before suffering, I see continual encouragement to stand firm, to endure, to overcome. There must be something we are challenged to overcome. In fact many believers have endured severe persecution and intense suffering. Many continue to do so. Whatever we face before the new Heaven and the new Earth, we face with Spirit-power. John the Revelator is diligent to prepare us for the challenges. We should read with eyes and minds and hearts open.

Ah but indeed, the Best is yet to come. And I will be delighted to stand before the throne with my brother in Christ Tony Evans, whenever and however we get there!

Yes the best is yet to come, I think the coming is here for our world is cracking and trambling to see the king. All what we experience with the covids, the war in Ukrain and now the monkypox, not to forget the American Democracy mockery is a sure sign of the road to "The Best Yet to Come." Yes my Lord Jesus please come! AMen.

What a fantastic book! The subject is very interesting. Tony Evans is a great author and pastor. He has some very interesting views on the end times and how we should be living in light of the things to come. Highly recommended book.
