Victoria Danann has created a complex character system with ease, centered around one fierce female lead. Each character was well crafted, and the Author managed to flip POVs seamlessly - sometimes with only a change in paragraph...

Book One of the Black Swan Saga focuses on Elora, and how she found her way through an inter-demensional portal to an oddly familiar land filled with interesting characters... If you're hesitant to pick up the first this anthology, know that this book is available for free as an eBook from most book retailers...
Rarely can a novel hook me so early. I've recommended the book to countless friends already. I eagerly await the continuance of this series; it has me helplessly invested in all the characters and the strange and exciting organization that is The Order of the Black Swan.

I adored meeting the new characters including Litha. The Demon Deliverance is a never-ending source of amusement for me; I'd love to see he and Baka spend some time together, I can only imagine what a conversation between the two would be like!
I love that Storm got a chance to fight for something after the bittersweet ending of My Familiar Stranger; and it was neat seeing how young Storm was recruited into Black Swan.

"No one ever knows where their personal breaking point is until they reach it. Most are never pressed to such a limit that they find out. Storm wasn't that lucky."

One more thing: the "Under the Window" scene - I. Laughed. Out. Loud
A Summoner's Tale: The Vampire's Confessor
Another wonderful, gripping installment! The third book in the Order of the Black Swan series was packed with the elaborate back story of the Vampire Baka, and broken up by the nail-biting suspense of Elora's "retirement."

He had wanted to gather her up like a bouquet of freshly picked flowers, press his face into the light of her aura and smell her fragrance, then hold onto her like a tether to the living. All that vivacity and spiritual power housed in such a bright and voluptuous body. At that moment it wouldn't have surprised him to learn that she routinely made the lame walk and the blind see. If she could cause Baka's monotony-numbed mind and ice packed blood to stir, those other miracles must be child's play for her.

I started reading this series with My Familiar Stranger as a freebie and quickly became hooked on the book and the author's style. Each book is different in outlook and featured characters but you still get to see the growth, trials and contributions of each of the main characters thru each book. The characters and world of the books are well developed and lush with detail and characterization. Some of this is done thru scene setting sections and other parts are done thru a few well-chosen descriptive words. I highly recommend this set of books and all future ones for those who love paranormal romance.

Read these books only if you love excitement,love, laugh out loud humor,adventure, and raw sexy. From the minute the heroine ,Elora lands at the feet of Bad Company it starts you on an unforgettable journey. You get pulled into these people and it doesn't stop.in My Familiar Stranger you go on Elora's search for personnel growth as to whose she is and who her soulmate is and her incredible journey. You meet the Black Swan Order especially Bad Company as well as Baka the Vampire. By the time you read the last page you NEED book 2 The Witches Dream to start where book 1 leaves off... And it does,this is what sets this series apart from any other and in my opinion makes Victoria Danann the most unique and incredible writer. These books all flow as 1 story even though each book is 1 members story the original characters are central in all books. The witches Dream is Storm and Litha's story. Kay's fiancé is kidnapped by a sex demon(yumm) and Storm and Litha have to save her.It turns out the demon,Deliverance is Litha's father.The pages wind up turning too fast and before you know it the book is done. Now on to book 3. The summoner's tale is an awesome book where it is Baka th Vampire's story. Baka's life is a very sad tale he is so heart sick and fed up with life. His mission is to turn vampires back and rid humanity of the threat. He is also an author of vampire romance books. When he was turned as a vamp he killed his wife in bloodlust and didn't even realize it at first. He writes a romance book about the experience. He winds up turning back to vamp while trying th vaccinate other vamps and needs to be saved by his Heaven. Meanwhile Elora is having her own situation. She has made friends with a pack of wolves and when she goes for a walk one day with her dog she gets attacked from rebels from her own dimension and goes into labor. Get these books as book 4 is already out AND book 5 will be out in September.

What a wonderful set of books.

These are the stories of a secret society called The Order of the Black Swan, that protect humans from Vampires, Werewolves and other dangerous mythical creatures.

The stories center around one particular group, affectionately known as Bad Company, consisting of Storm, Kay & Ram. All handsome & strong men. Eventually they get a fourth member, a beautiful woman named Elora, who joins them in the most surprising way. Together they form a strong bond, and you follow them trough their joys of falling in love, getting married & having babies, combined with their fight against evil enemies.

These stories are Paranormal Romance at its very best. They delivery it all! Vampires,Werewolves, Witches, Elves, Psychis And Demons. Along with some Red Hot Sex scenes.

Victoria Danann writes this so well, You cannot help but fall in love with at least ONE of the characters. you are totally drawn into the story & feel every emotion possible, and you truly feel the love they have for each other & the other people that join in with them.

I could not put them down. An absolutely brilliant series of books, with another 3 to follow this set.

i would have given them 10 stars if I could. And I dare anybody to not love them.

Victoria Danann's trilogy made me a PNR book fan. Don't get me wrong, I did see a few PNR movies (and you know the ones I mean) but taking the time to read PNR was new to me. So Victoria, thanks! I love the Order of the Black Swan series. Victoria's first book, "My Familiar Stranger", drew me in right at the start with an action packed opening and it hasn't slowed down yet, at the end of book 3 (actually four books are out now with more to come). There are wonderful strong personalities with action, friendships, and love interests in this series, and surprises in every book. There are Elves, vampires, a berserker, a demon, a witch and the Fey in these books so far, (with very interesting relationships)and who knows what's coming next! If you are a guy, you will love the men of the series as they are all "men's men". If you are a gal, the women are strong, loving, and able to hold their own. Add to that the paranormal component which takes it to a whole new level. These books are absolutely addicting. You will love this series... my only recommendation is to read them! Right now!

Love Victoria Danann's Books! Was so excited to see this. This book is so well written that I could picture the whole thing in my mind like I was watching a movie. I am so happy I got my Kindle last year because if I hadn't I might not have discovered some of the wonderful authors that have become my favorites! Victoria Danann is one of those favorites and this series, The Order of the Black Swan, is the reason. Book 1, page 1 the first sentence grabbed me and did not let go. I love the characters in these books. How they evolve as we get to know more and more about them. The stories are well written and really grip the reader. I have laughed and cried while reading these books and have enjoyed every step I have taken with Victoria as she has led me through her world and can not wait to visit again and again. The books just keep getting better and better! I highly recommend this series and strongly suggest you read the books in order.

Victoria Danann is a fabulous author that takes us on a journey in her Order of the Black Swan. I have loved the storyline and the way she brings all of her characters to life. As I get to know all of the characters and their back grounds I can't wait to see what will happens inside these books. I have recommended this series to all of my friends and family and will continue to recommend them to anyone that loves to read. Who would not love to read about present day knights, vampires, witches, demons, berserkers, fairies, and werewolves, but underneath it all it is a true love story.

Such a wonderful read!!
Victoria definitely knows how to keep a reader hooked until the very end, & then has you on the edge, waiting for the next book to be released. These books make you feel like you know each Character personally and has you waiting to see what will happpen with their lives . I can't count how many times I've gotten emotional with each book.

Before I found Victoria Danann's books and long after I tried to read my last romance novel, I swore I would never pick up another book from that genre again. But, after reading my first in this series and then the following books, I am hooked...for life.
These books are well written, well organized and full of characters that, although we know don't exist on Earth, we wish they did. In fact, I am sure that they exist somewhere, in some galaxy because they are just that believable and real. Add to that the fact that the stories are full of situations that, in my mind's eye, I can see myself in, or see my friends grappling with. The humor makes me laugh, the descriptions make me see and the steamy scenes make me...well...steamy! From page one, I am in that zone where suddenly, there is a movie playing in my head of the story and I can hear the voices, smell the scents and feel the sensations.
Top this all off with the knowledge that Victoria Danann is a new Indie Author and these are her first books and you have a package full of pleasant surprises and magic that, when the stories are over, leave you REALLY wanting more.
In fact, I can't wait for the next one and I hope Victoria Danann never stops writing about B Team and The Order of the Black Swan. Unless, of course, there is something better waiting within her cauldron of creativity!

Where to start....block out some significant time as you'll want to just keep on reading until you are done.

A girl from another dimension, heroic knights..sexy as all get out knights. Vampires, shape shifters, witches, demons, elves, fae and a mortal type or two to keep it interesting. You mix them all together along with a good dose of humor and mystery and you've got The Order of the Black Swan books.

Ms. Danann has created a wonderful universe filled with courageous heroes and heroines. Her characters aren't perfect but their imperfections if you will makes them all the more real and believable. I fell in love along with them, laughed, cried and feared for them. And I can't wait to re-read them and do it all over again!

I have already read all of Victoria's books The Order of the Black Swan and I'm currently waiting for book 5 to come out. Now I would like to say I'm waiting patiently but I'm not!! After reading about the love,family,Vampires,werewolfs,elf's, and what not I have to say I'm in love! How could you not be with Storm,Ram, Kay, Elora,Litha, Balka, Oh yeah and a demon that is so funny you can't wait to see what he will so next! I have to say Ms. Danann has done an excellent job of making readers want more and more of her Black Swan's cause I know I do and can not wait for Gathering Storm book five of The Order of the Black Swan.

The Order of the Black Swan is my favorite PNR series. All I can say is when you start reading you will not want to stop.

Everything imaginable is included in these stories: elves, werewolves, vampires, beserkers, demons, witches and fae. You'll fall in love the alpha males and cheer the strong women who stand beside them. Warning: These books are highly addictive.

The first three books of the Knights of the Black Swan is completely addicting. Each book is action packed and loaded with twists but still has a romantic side. The characters are well written and totally believable, they are strong and exciting and fun. One of my favorite things about this series is the fact that the author has allowed us to follow the characters growth as they progress throughout the series. Of course I have favorite characters and I'm sure you will too. There are elves, fae, demon, vampire, werewolves, witches, mixed breeds and more. How can this be believable? I don't know but Victoria Danann has managed to do it. I absolutely love this series and I'll bet you will too...

This is a fantastic series. The stories are so well written they are addictive. It is a good thing you are able to get them in this collection of three. The characters are complex and compelling and their adventures are exciting. It would be difficult not to fall in love with some of them or become entranced in their stories. Review:
This review is for the first three books of the Knights of Black Swan Series. So many Alpha males. This may be my new favorite series. There are so many paranormal aspects in these books that I can’t name them all, but be prepared for interdimensional travel, Elves, Vampires, Witches and Summoners to name a few. The series takes off great and only gets better with each book. Plots -Book one starts with Elora Laiken entering a parallel universe where there are many similarities as well as differences. Escaping assassins from her dimension she lands in the headquarters of Black Swan where three men desire her. Two are Black Swan Knights and the third is a Vampire that the Knights are trained to hunt and kill. Book two picks up where book one leaves off. I won’t elaborate too much because I don’t want to spoil anything for the readers. Lets just say that one of the Black Swans that didn’t end up being Elora true love, finds his own love. Yeah. The third book my favorite, because I fell in love with Istvan Baka, in the first book gets his HEA. The chemistry between these characters is hot and amazing. I love each and every one of them. The pacing is even except when the action heats up. These books end great hoping that the story will continue. The author does an excellent job at keeping the characters fresh and interesting from one book to another.

I loved how Victoria drew me into this world she has created. It was like I was there,and I love books that can take me away to another place and time. The way she described the place was not over done. You were able to understand what was going on from the beginning. The characters were really great. Love them all,but Ram is my favorite. It's hard for me to do a review when I want to give up to much info. If you like sexy alpha males and women who can hold there own and the supernatural you will love this series. Get lost in this world that Victoria has created,you will not be disappointed. It's not just another vampire story... And yes there are steamy sex scenes. So what are you waiting for go read...:)

DNF

My rating is based on the first story in this three book set. I just could not get into the second book and decided to call it quits. I think there was too much descriptions of things that were unecessary and it made it work to get through the book. Details are good, but excessive is not. Plus Elora got on my nerves in the second book. All these things caused me to DNF the remainder of this set.
