Now and Then is a novel about a woman who is awakened in the night with terrible news about a car accident involving her husband that put him in a coma. As she struggles with the current life and death situation, worrying about her husband, she also has to make choices about how to deal with her adult daughters who are experiencing their own personal crises. To escape the stress of the "now", she retreats to her memories--good and bad-- of the "then" before her marriage, and re-examines the road she has traveled and the choices that she made that have led to where she, and the family, are now.
