New to town, and with her home life imploding, eighteen-year-old Ryen Wiley accepts an invitation for a night out from Hazel Hart, the girl next door, who appears flawless--fearless, but you know what they say about appearances... During the six days she spends with Hazel and her friends, Ryen experiences a little bit of everything, turning her once vanilla existence upside down as the complicated stories of her new friends begin to unravel and intertwine with her own.
This title is intended for readers age 17+ due to strong language, sexual situations, and drug and alcohol references.
3.5 Stars. A contemporary romance/drama for Adult/New Adult. Well written with angsty emotional characters with attitude. Running with the "wrong" crowd can be the right thing to do and they can be the family you need in times of turmoil. Action packed from the beginning, this captures the attention and makes for an enjoyable read, however, ending was a little abrupt and made me wonder if this tale will continue.
4.5 im not into a series but this one i wouldn't mind to have a sequel, i would definitely read it. though at start im hesitant cos of title 6 days but i thought life speeds up you'll never know what happens next...
*definitely read the book that i noted to myself (two thousand miles)
Nice short read.. While I thought this book was ok it didn't grab me and make me not want to put it down ... I enjoyed the writing.. But the story just didn't do much for me... 18 year old Ryen her mother have just moved into a mansion in a wealthy area courtesy of Ryen's cheating father who has left them for a 21 year old "infant" ...Ryen is befriended by the girl next door (Hazel) and introduced to her extremely wealthy circle of friends ... This once nice girl is then introduced to the rich life full of alcohol, pot and endless supplies of money and no parental guidance .. This is a book about 6 days Ryen spends with her new friends..
I want more of this book. I wish it was a series. Too short for such an enjoyable story line. The characters were captivating and relatable. The author did an awesome job in writing about broken families while not being over done. I hope the author does a follow up story when they go back to school. Maybe a story on Asher and Hazel getting back together. Totally recommend this book. Loved the cars..
Cute little read, enjoyed reading this book I think it would of been nice if it was longer but I can understand the six chapters for the six days, really good read, Kasey was a sweet, sexy and caring guy who met Ryen who was sweet, lovely, caring girl, I like the fact that Kasey and Ryen let go of their past and got together in Six days ;)
I didn't realize that this was a book for young adults when I selected it but nonetheless I'm glad I read it. I would recommend it for 16-25 year olds. it kept me intrigued to get to the end.
Out of all of the characters I thin Kasey was my favorite. I know they were spoiled rich teens with way too much money, but they all had their own family drama that made you feel for them.
